The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. Welcome! The guest apartment (about 50 square meters) is located in the basement of our house - enough space that our guests can feel comfortable in their own area. Included in the price is the tourist tax to the municipality of Glottertal. From two nights (only for tourist stays) you will receive the KONUS-Card, with which you can use the public transport for free in the entire Black Forest region, as well as free parking tickets for all P+R parking lots in Freiburg.

Our Heidi House is located in the middle of the Black Forest, in a small valley surrounded by green meadows. Next to the Heidi house is the farm we live on. The Heidi house is detached and has a separate entrance, so your privacy is guaranteed. The farm is located at the end of a road, with no traffic passing through, and is surrounded by meadows, fruit trees and forest. Our own stream and a small pond with a bench on the property invite you to relax.

A modern furnished, newly renovated studio apartment (not a separate bedroom) with 40 sqm of living space awaits you. The apartment is located in a single-family house in the basement. It is located in a quiet residential area in the immediate vicinity of the forest in a perfect starting point for activities such as cycling and hiking. The center of Furtwangen and shopping are within walking distance in 20 minutes. (car 3 min).

You don't hear any street or cars and yet relativeley close to train station or shopping (5km). You can reach restaurants by foot (15 min). Ideal starting point for hiking tours, city trips or just relaxing.

The tram stop and bike station are just 2 minutes away. The infrastructure is extremely good, all important shops are within walking distance.
