Cottage holiday rentals in Sanibel Island

Our stay here was awesome! The house was perfect; very clean and had everything we needed! The pool and hot tub really added to our stay! We were also able to walk to the beach. Jennifer was very nice and very quick to respond! I definitely recommend staying here and will do so in the future!

We had an amazing week at Mona’s Enchanted Cottage! Enchanted we were! Mona is so friendly and communicative, offering tons of great local recommendations. The cottage is cozy, clean, private, and had everything we needed. We loved kayaking—fed turtles, saw manatees swim by, birds, and even an owl! A few small gators kept their distance but not curious enough to bother. Fishing from the dock was fantastic—I caught 25+ fish across 5 different species. There’s definitely more than you can count though. The bait shop with the funny name further down the road had the best bait and tips. The hot tub spa is the super nice kind. We grilled dinner most nights and had no issues with the internet to stream shows when it rained. The town is small and cute. You can definitely find a place to listen to live music every night. Our dog adored the doggy beach, and Barefoot Beach was super close with easy parking at 10 AM. We didn’t want to leave, 10/10—already planning to come back!

Federico was amazing! he went above and beyond when we had a minor emergency with our 3-year-old daughter and helped us get some medications (and a humidifier!) for her on the mainland without us ever having to leave the island. he was always very helpful and responsive whenever we had questions about his place or the island. The space was very kid friendly and though it is a shared Deck with the house next door we hardly even saw or heard from The neighbors. oh and because it's not completely obvious from the listing you do not have to share the hot tub with the other house. There is one at each house. also, the description is a one minute walk to the beach probably needs to be updated given that there is now houses backyards you have to walk through if you take the most direct route. Other than that the area underneath the house was wonderful for our kids to play in when we weren't at the beach and the 6 person golf cart was just big enough for our party of five. A+ highly recommend

Wow! We loved this house. Great outdoor seating, loved watching the boats come and go. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Great flat grill for dinners at home. Good restaurant options in the area. Cape Coral is close to so much, but away from traffic. Loads of windows and natural light. Very clean. Highly recommend.

This was my second time staying at Martina’s cottage. It is clean, comfortable, close to all amenities and the beach. The pool at the clubhouse was clean and very comfortable seating. Martina was quick to respond to all of our questions. I highly recommend this cottage!

The place was very clean, and everything that required was provided. It was in a park setting, which suited us just fine.

Met my mom and sister for a weekend stay at the Cracker Cow Cottage. The home is spotless, adorable and well thought out. We had everything we needed. All the attention to detail shows the host(s) really care about their guest. Michelle is very attentive and is excellent at her job. Highly recommend.

Alina’s house was perfect for our stay. It was clean, close to everything, easy to get to. Alina was a perfect host—responsive and flexible.

This place was a hidden gem! We lucked into it being available last-minute for a three-night stay and couldn’t have been any happier with it. The place was clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated. The kitchen had new appliances, and enough cooking equipment to easily make multiple meals a day. Bathroom was spacious and clean, with a really nice shower. The lot is remarkably quiet and private given its proximity to several main highways. Plenty of restaurants, bars, stores, and more nearby. There’s even a park a just a few-minute walk from the property.

This was a great place and highly recommend it. It's very peaceful. It's very close to things to do. 👍🏼

Such a beautiful place to stay at. So clean! Fort Myers beach is our favorite place to visit in Florida, so we will be back!! We loved that all the beach items were there and in great condition. I have stayed at a hand full of Airbnb’s throughout the year, and I have to say this was the best stock up one. So many bath towel ( all so clean you could smell the fabric softener on them), paper towel, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and cooking essentials. Thank you for being outstanding host Deborah and Patrick. We will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sara’s charming cottage. The house was spotless and incredibly peaceful, providing the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle. The beautiful pond on the property was a highlight—ideal for relaxing and fishing, which we thoroughly enjoyed. My son did not want to leave. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring restful nights after our day outdoors. Sara was an amazing host—always responsive, friendly, and attentive to our needs. We also loved having a barbecue outside the cottage while enjoying the nature. Overall, this cottage is a true gem. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway with great amenities and a fantastic host. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a beautiful home. Well appointed and well maintained. Everything was spotless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! The host thought of almost everything. Kayaks, bicycles, pool towels, etc. My only recommendations for improvement would be facial tissues and fans for sleeping. That’s it! That’s all I could think of.

Overall, very pleased with this Airbnb. Nice outside appearance. Very clean and spacious inside. Nice welcoming touch with the Cold bottled water and snacks. Suggestion for Vita : Probably need to mark in some way the small drop from the patio to the driveway. Someone more elderly may not distinguish it very well and may fall !

Friendly owners, private location and a clean place to stay. All you could really ask for. If ever in Fort Meyers again, I would certainly look to come here first.

This home and stay was absolute perfection. From the super clean and GORGEOUS entry to the phenomenal view and heated pool, this place felt like a home away from home with a little slice of paradise. Everything about this place was amazing and we would stay here a million times over. Couldn’t think of a better place to lend a relaxing and yet still perfectly fun vacation!
