Holiday rentals with a pool in San José Province

Such a perfect little spot for us on our way to San Jose. Loved the convenient location and ease of getting in and out. The house is super thoughtful and well designed with lots of light, nice kitchen and bath and a beautiful green space out back. Very peaceful at night and it felt very secure with the car behind a big gate. We will be back. Thank you! Recommended!

We've been fortunate to stay in some nice properties, but this easily stood out as the most amazing place we've been. The house is incredible, the concierge (Fabian) was very helpful, the (daily) cleaning staff was top notch and the views were remarkable. The place looks even better in person than the (impressive) pictures on the site. Being high up meant not only a great view of the landscape but also wildlife. We regularly saw macaws, toucans and squirrel monkeys, who jumped through the trees (one tree only 15 feet or so from the pool/deck) two evenings while we were there. It was an incredible experience all the way around.

Marlen was a great host! she was always responsive and quick. when we arrived she took us on a tour of the property. The place was nice and peaceful. we even got greeted by the neighbors puppy!

This place was absolutely perfect! It almost didn’t feel real. We’ve never experienced such a stay before, where you are truly so immersed in nature, while still feeling comfortable with everything you need. We made so many little gecko friends, protecting us from any bugs, and we got to hear the wonderful sounds of monkeys, macaws, frogs and more. There was a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ which made it possible for us to stay in and cook and really take advantage of the gorgeous treehouse. Tomas was also so sweet and helpful! He gave us great recommendations and always gave great advice for any questions we had regarding our trip. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Our next trip to Costa Rica we will definitely stay here again!

We were all so excited when we arrived. The house and the view were exactly what the photos showed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the amazing view around us. The restaurants near us were all great. Karen the owner and Olmer the concierge were great at responding to our questions. We would definitely love to go back!!

I enjoyed my stay at Mangata Villas. The scenery was by far the best I’ve been to and truly felt relaxed on vacation here. The concierge was super helpful, the host was very accommodating and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay- I would recommend anyone to consider going here

Absolutely wonderful stay! The place was spotless, comfortable, breathtaking views and exactly as described! Rosie was a fantastic host— great communication and very helpful! Rosie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we have everything we needed! Would definitely book this place again!

Exactly as described… mountains as your backdrop and panoramic ocean views in front! The pool was amazing. The house was clearly well built and the landscaping is gorgeous. The mountain road was totally doable in our AWD car. We went up and down it several times a day without any issues. When we got there we were very worried about not having AC considering how hot it gets during the day but we were very comfortable with the ceiling fan and the extra fan we found in the laundry room. The breeze really is great at night, especially when it rains. We felt very safe here and it was private despite the other airbnb on the property. The private hike down to the river was unforgettable. The water was perfectly blue. Just bring water and good shoes like they recommend since it was pretty steep. Would definately stay here again and highly recommend!!

Excelente lugar. Muy bonito y acogedor. La decoración estaba bien bonita. El edificio tiene vista fabulosa, una barra en el lobby y la decoración de los pisos con diferentes concepto me gusto. 100% recomendado.

El apartamento está precioso, desde el primer momento Esteban fue muy claro con las instrucciones y esto hizo que el Check in fuera sumamente sencillo y rápido! Todo estaba ya listo, Esteban es muy colaborador y tiene un excelente trato.

Beautifully designed apartment with great amenities. Neighborhood was nice and safe. The Internet connection was fantastic. I did not experience any issues working remotely.

Great place and amenities. My favourite was the huge balcony with the view of the clouds and hills. There’s a supermarket next door, makes stocking up on essentials very easy. There’s weekly cleaning too, so extremely convenient for long stays,

Norman was very communicative and helpful throughout my stay. Great location, great restaurants.
