Holiday rentals with a hot tub in San José Province

The best place we've visited in SJ! The place was clean when we arrived. Check-in was easy. Indoor parking is ideal in these rainy seasons. The place is perfectly equipped. Having 1 and 1/2 bathrooms is super convenient. It will definitely become our #1 in East SJ.

Absolutely perfect. One of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. And the best host experience as well with Marianna. I kept saying the whole stay “this is my dream house!” Perfect for families. Our kids spent hours in the pool every day we were there. We hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful time The house is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. It was wonderful to enjoy nature from the terrace, the view was phenomenal. It is true that you need a 4x4 to get there, but that also ensures that once you have arrived you can enjoy absolute privacy and tranquility!

The most amazing view we got to see in Costa Rica, over lush mountains all the way to the Pacific Ocean!!! The accommodation was exactly as pictured, very new and super clean. The pool areas is very pleasant and the hosts were extremely friendly!

The property was unbelievable. The house, the pool, the views… wow! The kids literally lived in the pool. The area itself is off the beaten track in the best possible way—surrounded by lush, untouched rainforest with scarlet macaws flying overhead daily. You’re a short drive from the ocean and crocodile tours on the Tárcoles River, yet far removed from the crowds. It felt like we were seeing the real Costa Rica. There are some great, low-key food spots nearby, and the overall vibe was so much more authentic and grounded than the overly touristy feel we got in Monteverde. One of the highlights was the intimate dinner prepared by Cecelia—homemade, delicious, and shared like you were part of the family. This place and these hosts made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We’re already talking about coming back

Where do I possibly start my summation of this paradise? I'm writing this now while on the plane home. Reliving my experience at Chris & Kristen's propery gives me a smile on my face even when I must return home. The personal touch stood out in a magnificent way. The knowledge of the country, the region, the local places. I felt like I was the only person on their property to care for during my stay. After a rain storm, late at night... I was treated to a tour when the vegetation was at its glory. The sounds, scenery, plant life, and different species of life were amazing. The carefully planned out grounds are a treasure... And constantly being upgraded and cared for everyday. The Villa was awesome. Had everything needed. Beautifully air conditioned, and kept. Bed comfortable, great size refrigerator, and perfectly configured stove. The view from my Villa was incredible, to say the least. My new friends will see me again. Their striving for my comfort was unmatched! TY

Best Airbnb experience ever. Three troops of monkeys visiting us on the back deck each morning and each evening, 30+ sloths living and flourishing freely on the resort, pools, restaurants, market, steps from the private beach, yet close to Manuel Antonio and Quepos. There is no question in my mind why Tulemar Resort has been rated the #1 resort in the world multiple times over the past few years. Our accommodations were amazing, and the location provides you with a jungle experience with immediate beach access. Fabian, our concierge, was helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive before and throughout our stay. You simply will not find a better place to stay.

Wow!!! What an experience!! Whitney’s place was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect place for our family vacation. Enough room for everyone and space to not feel cluttered! Beautiful views & beautiful amenities!!! Simone was beyond helpful!!! Such an amazing woman and made so many amazing experiences with her! She made the entire trip seamless! She took us on our snorkeling tour & to spend the day with Indigenous Boruca Sergio & his mom. Such a beautiful experience. Vlad, our chef, was AMAZING!!!! He made each of our meals better than the next & my birthday extra special!!! We caught tuna & he switched it up and served it fresh that night!!! His bartending skills were on point too and he became like family!!! Don’t hesitate on staying here I promise you’ll love it!! The pictures are beautiful but don’t show the depth of just how amazing it is!!! So be sure to utilize Simone for some of your experiences/excursions & book Vlad’s chef services!!! Pura Vida!!!!

Our stay at Casa Nueva Vida was exceptional in every way. An amazing property in a beautiful part of Costa Rica. From our initial inquiry, until we said good bye with "Pura Vida!", our family of seven thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. Pablo's team, headed by our extraordinary concierge, Mefi, was terrific; Mefi was always just a text away and was responsive to our every request. His goal was clearly to make our stay unforgettable -- and he did that! A nice added service was laundry done by our housekeeper, Judith, who also took good care of us. The property is stunning. Plenty of room (indoors and out) for us all, a terrific pool/hot tub with breathtaking sunsets, gorgeous landscaping, and regular visits from white-faced and squirrel monkeys, scarlett macaws and toucans. The monkeys were great entertainment! The villa was a short drive to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio, so well located for excursions. We simply loved our stay. We will be back! Beautiful accommodation in the middle of nature We loved our stay. The house is beautiful, decorated with many unique and charming details. The natural environment is spectacular, with incredible views of the mountains. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck, especially the jacuzzi and also the fireplace at night, a very special experience! Everything was perfect, we had a great time and we leave with beautiful memories. We would definitely come back!
