Bungalow holiday rentals in San José Province

Beautiful place! Cosy & clean. Quite remote but situated right on the beach with an amazing coastline. Would definitely recommend for a lovely quiet and relaxing stay.

The house is large and beautiful and the pictures are very accurate to what you are getting. You can find a few more photos on the Costa Verde website for bungalow A-14. Check in is at the reception desk and they drive you to your place. The third bedroom is now closed in completely with glass and while it doesn’t have its own A/C there’s a fan and with the door open you can easily have a very nice temperature in this room from the A/C in the living room. The views from the patio/terrace area are phenomenal and the grounds are very nice. The kitchen is limited but functional, as shown in the pictures. Housekeeping came every day and kept the place impeccably clean. The screened in bathrooms were really delightful, like an outdoor shower without the animals and bugs joining you. One slight downside is the roof is the kind that will be very loud in a rain storm. Very convenient to El Avion and El Wagon and the hotel pools are lovely.

This is a great spot to listen to the beach through your bungalow windows, the area is not crowded, and it's like having your own beach. Very Clean and the grounds keepers were super friendly and tentative. José showed us where a sloth lives right on the property which was awesome too. Great little getaway spot.

Veronica was responsive, friendly, and very helpful. The place was clean, peaceful, and private. Privacy on the beach, beautiful surroundings!

Unbelievable location and place. Everything you need is close and the hospitality is top level. Right in the middle of the wildlife with access to all the luxury you need. Look no further, this place is awesome!

This is an amazing location it’s in a upcoming community that is secured about 25 min from jaco great location to just relax and enjoy

Very cool place and location. The town was adorable and everything is around the corner. Property is beautiful. Check in was different from most places I’ve stayed. We had to wait for owner to meet us w a key, after a 4ish hour drive. Lock box would have worked just fine.

Without going back and looking at existing guest reviews I believe all positive feedback is well deserved and perhaps understated…. Amy is an excellent , amazing Host …. Genuinely concerned about her guests wellbeing….. Award winning attitude with attention to detailed opportunities for her Guests….. We spent 3 nights with our kids, we really enjoyed the villa and the pool. Johan was very helpful from when we got there until we left. The place is spectacular and we didn't want to come, we will definitely be back.

Hugo, Alan and Andres were all pleasant, informative and available. The cabin, setting and mountain views were like a painting in every direction you looked. Sunrises and sunsets were stunning. Kitchen facilities had everything we needed. Besides going for walks and to the onsite restaurant, we didn't want to leave. we loved everything about our experience there. thank you!

Our host was great! He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed from day one. Our location was very convenient. It is centrally located between Dominical Beach and San Isidro. And walking distance to Nauyaca Waterfalls. Nature surrounds this beautiful jungle park like destination. Every morning/day we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and butterflies! There are an amazing variety of birds to watch! Some days we got glimpses of the Agouti and the turkey-looking black birds with bright yellow beaks walking through. And the nature sounds were music to our ears! We took advantage of the lemon trees too! The private outdoor space was perfect for us and we used it daily, rain or shine. We were provided a carport for parking. The property is gated and safe.

I’m a digital nomad and needed a quiet place to work near my friends in Atenas. Beth’s place was perfecto! Quiet, good privacy, sweet helpful neighbors if needed. It’s clean, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen. Beth, thank you for sharing your lovely place.
