Loft holiday rentals in San José

We loved our stay! Kathleen is a sweetheart and so kind and attentive. And her three dogs are adorable. The unit is perfect for two people. It is situated on a dead end street, making it a very quiet location with no street noise. There are so many places to eat just a quick Uber ride away - both Los Yoses and Escalante barrios are very nearby. Super convenient location and a wonderful host!

Gustavo and Sandra were great hosts and were very welcoming. They were very responsive when I needed help with anything. The apartment is in a great location. There are many food spots in walking distance, and Walmart is not too far away. There is a grocery store one block away. There are also a couple of gyms in walking distance. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

Excellent accommodation, extremely quiet, clean and pleasant, the art is amazing and everything was perfect.

A nice little stay near the airport. I walked from the airport and it seemed safe the entire way. Very easy check in , good for if you get to San Jose late at night. Would recommend for nights of arrival/ departure. Sound wasn’t a big issue as some other comments stated. You will hear some but honestly less noise than most hostels.

This Airbnb is located in a quiet cul de sac that lends to the over all feeling of privacy and calm. The place is ideal for one or two people to use as a base for exploration. It’s easy walking distance to shops and a park. It’s also very close to a hotel that can be used to be picked up from when signing up for trips on trip advisor, Viator, or Get your guide. Juan Carlos and Mauricio were ideal hosts. We had arranged for a driver to pick me up. When the driver was unable to make it at the last moment,rather than cancel and refer me to uber, Juan Carlos, himself, came. I was impressed! Juan Carlos and Mauricio were available to answer any questions I had throughout my stay. They responded in short order to any communication I sent. They were warm and personable. The stay was handled in a professional yet caring manner. I’d choose this Airbnb again if I return to San Jose. I recommend it highly to you!

This place is definitely beautiful- the view of the mountains is incredible and the surrounding nature is stunning. We stayed for a month in March/ April and I wish we had AC- it’s really really hot during the day and the fan is not enough. Kitchen is not great for long term stay but manageable. Outdoor furniture could be upgraded so that it’s actually useable. Lastly the Airbnbs next door are often used for parties on the weekend.. Overall beautiful place but could use a bit of an upgrade.

Our stay here was excellent! We needed a place close to the airport for an early morning flight, and this location was perfect—just about five minutes away. The unit also had a washer and dryer, which made it easy for us to do laundry before leaving. I would definitely stay here again!

Virginia’s loft was absolutely fantastic. Looked exactly like the photos and the location was perfect - plenty of shops and restaurants right downstairs. Would definitely stay again!

A few steps from restaurants and the center of San José, the space was very clean and tidy, the spectacular view, the sliding doors of the room do not allow that between noise, the reception is very nice and the guys who work there were friendly, the check-in was quick and the host allowed us to arrive earlier as we had some activities to do.

We had a great and comfortable stay at Jaime’s place. The apartment was very clean, organized, and comfortable! We had everything we could need, & also enjoyed the amenities of the apartment building. It was also great being so close to so many great restaurants, coffee shops, and parks. Our hosts were easy to communicate with and very friendly.

this is a room in a really fun hotel. the hotel is new and very arty. the neighborhood is fun. the cafe to the right of the entrance is good with good wifi and food. to the right is a nice minimart (2nd one). there are nice parks nearby.

The apartment is very well furnished and finely decorated. The location is very strategic and the building's amenities are very useful.

This is a great home! We have stayed here twice now and plan on coming back when we’re in Escazú

I have stayed multiple times at this Airbnb. I can say for sure that it is my favorite and whenever there is availability I will prefer it.

Kimberly was a great host! She was very welcoming and responsive. I had some trouble with getting in & out of the house and she responded and came to help me right away. The space is exactly like what is listed on the pictures. I felt safe in the neighborhood and there was plenty of restaurants & shopping in walking distance. The neighbors do have dogs that can bark quite a bit but during the night, they were quiet. Not to the fault of Kimberly though. Would stay here again for the price & location & how friendly Kimberly was! Thank you again Kimberly!

It was great for getting in late and being near the bus stop for an early morning trip the next day.

It is an excellent, clean and very complete place. Always a pleasure to come back.

Everything is very good, just as in the photos, I recommend them.

Easygoing checkin, close to the airport, washing machine, kitchen and fast wifi - everything we needed, although the neighbours seem as they are standing in your bed - because of the thin walls. But 100% recommendation!
