Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Sámara

We had a wonderful stay at Pia’s place. Her parents, Gabby and Federico, were great hosts and responsive to all requests. We stayed for 3 months and got to know the area, many of the neighbors, neighborhood dogs, and establishments in Carrillo. The place is in a very convenient location. It’s a walkable distance to everything in Carrillo y la playa. The adjacent forest is typically filled with howler monkeys, iguanas, and a diversity of birds. The house and pool were great. They needed regular maintenance as everything does in this environment, but the owners were typically right on it. Recommended accommodation.

We had a wonderful time at Lynn’s and Puerto Carillo. If you want to get away from the tourists and have an incredible beach to yourself, this is it. We spent a month at Lynn’s and really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living. We were able to sit, eat, and watch TV outside, while being covered from the sun. Their pool was refreshing and deeper than expected. I worked much of the time and internet speeds were fine for video conferencing, etc. The first few nights had monkeys in the trees across the street, saw plenty of iguanas and geckos around the neighborhood, which was nice for walking. Puerto Carillo beach is a 5 minute drive away. It is a 1.6 mile, side to side, crescent shaped beach. Very few people. Almost all locals. We headed down an hour before sunset and walked from side to side and had spectacular sunsets. There are some local restaurants in Puerto Carillo and you can always go into Samara, about 15 minutes away. We will for sure be back.

This place was great. It was exactly as the pictures portray it. Beautiful layout - felt spacious for our family with 3 teenagers. We used the pool everyday, but also still walked to the beach. The closest soda was awesome as well as the closest grocery. We ended up renting a golf cart to explore a bit more which was fun.

The place is stunning and well maintained. A couple of things weren’t working like the microwave (never worked) and the stove wasn’t working on arrival (but was quickly fixed). The hot tub seems hard to maintain in the heat as it turned green quickly but I don’t use hot tubs, and we just told the kids to stay out of it until the cleaner came. The late check in fee for arriving at 730 pm of $60 seemed excessive as I have never paid that at any other Airbnb but perhaps it’s customary for the company. Definitely worth the money for the place and it’s a beautiful home. A couple small minor things but it wouldn’t deter me from staying there as they weren’t musts for me. I’d recommend them regardless and rented a golf cart to get around! Thanks again for the stay!

Casa Manana was a perfect for our group and could have comfortably fit many more. Such a comfortable house with great amenities. They even had some fruit, lizano, coffee, wine and chocolates waiting for us went we arrived. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted and the pool and outdoor space was gorgeous. Was a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach along the main road depending on how fast you walk and maybe another 5- 10 minutes to the very north end of playa guiones if you take the beach trail. We really liked the slightly more low key and local vibe of playa pelada. Still with a fairly quick walk, drive or Tuktuk to playa guiones for beginner surf or to check out some shops and other restaurants, though Pelada has many great food options as well. Pulpo and Sunset cafe were very close by and both exceptional. La cuchara de dona emi was great spot in town for Casados. Would absolutely stay here again! Our 5th time to Costa Rica and I think we found our new favorite area!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Karolina was… she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and wanted. My flight was delayed 6 hours which had us driving to her home at 1am and she was so responsive and understanding it made a horrible situation into a beautiful experience. I have 4 kids and with 2 in each bed we fit perfectly. We even did yoga on the deck in the morning. The house was very clean and I actually loved the master room bed because it was nice and firm. We only stayed there one night but it was a perfect stopping point in our journey.

As an avid Airbnb Traveller world wide I would say this was one of the most relaxing homes we’ve ever stayed in! Which is saying a lot considering I’m 8 months pregnant this time! It felt like being at home only with such a luxurious, private, appeal with every appliance you need. A highlight was seeing howler monkeys right by the house! We also saw a coati when we were doing a night swim! The view was breathtaking, highly recommend the sunrises! But sunsets were also jaw dropping. The closed in massive patio was such a great space for our little one year to walk around in the shade and cool of the day. Jacquie and Don were incredibly fast with communication and booked tours for us thanks to their local contacts. I’ve shared this space on our social accounts because it was so worth the price and location. You will definitely have a high end rejuvenating experience here we want to go back!

Definitely the highlight of our trip! We got a golf cart and were able to get around pretty easily. The house is absolutely beautiful and the kids enjoyed the daily visit from the monkeys.

A very quiet place, the beach is very nice. The place is safe. The house is very nice. The pool and Jacuzzi are for relaxing.

Firstly I want to say Pura Vida! Costa Rica is a wonderful country!! Our host Mariam was very kind and responsive and helped us tremendously throughout our stay. Casldeal organized our shuttle to and from the airport, assisted with booking our car rental and even had fresh lobster delivered to our villa for us to enjoy for supper! I want to be clear that we were completely happy with our stay however for transparency I think people should understand the realities of staying in Costa Rica. For our group who was made up of country folks, it was completely fine, but for others expecting a more refined vacation they may find it cumbersome. What we encountered at our villa was not entirely what we had been expecting. Some of the promised amenities were not available or working (Safe/Oven/Washing Machine/TV) but Mariam and her team did their best to work out the kinks with us. We also had water and power issues but they supported us throughout. Overall lovely group and home! THE VIEW!

Everything was as expected! Would stay here again. Great spot close to the beach.

This house is a dream. Close walk to the beach and town, private area and the house is amazing. Everything you could want and fully stocked with everything you need. The landscaping around the property is so pretty and always reminds you that you’re in Costa Rica. The house worked perfect for our three couples and 4 kids. The studio is a lovely paradise for anyone looking for additional privacy while staying with a larger group. The house really has thought of everything to make your stay memorable.

The house was absolutely perfect with a ton of open space and beautiful views. It was such a relaxing vacation and the property manager, Tiffany, made our stay perfect! She helped us make reservations to La Luna and some other amazing restaurants and was there at check-in to welcome us and make sure we were all set. There were also cold seltzers and waters in the fridge and a bottle of wine which was a nice touch. The beds were so so comfortable and the bathtub in the primary- wow. It was a quick trip to Bodhi yoga each morning and the beach, which is pretty hot during the day, so the cool breezes at the house were awesome- we didn't even need the air on! We will definitely refer our friends as Nosara and this beautiful property exceeded our expectations!
