Beachfront holiday rentals in Salt Spring Island

We enjoyed our stay here, the place was as described, tidy, and homey. There was plenty of space for us and we liked the variety of outdoor spaces on the property. The beds were comfy, all queen beds. Lovely views from the balcony and eindows- so nice to watch the boats on the water. The area was quiet and it was nice to have a dock nearby. We were pretty close to amenities and nice places to eat. There are a few dog parks, playgrounds, and sights to see in town. Cameron was responsive to both requests and questions. Hi professional and kind nature made booking and renting from him a breeze. Thanks, Cameron. See you again sometime.

I stayed here with my Mom and two sisters- it was perfect! The hot tub overlooks the beach and is under a gorgeous canopy of trees that kept us dry from the rain. We had hummingbirds and quails visit us while we ate breakfast on the patio under a wisteria tree. The house is very cozy with everything you need and so many interesting things to look at. We went to Duncan and spent the day at the Farmer's Market, then had dinner just down the street, overlooking the water, while watching seals and birds fish. We are already discussing making the trip an annual event and plan to go again next year!

We had very nice and quiet days. The location is fantastic and Angela and her family really nice, especially the little Pip (dog) was super nice. We regret not having booked a few more days there. We can recommend it to others. Many thanks to Angela and her family.

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

We stayed at Gleb and Marie’s place and it was amazing. It was exactly how they described it. We went with our two dogs and it was the perfect peaceful getaway. I left an item behind and the hosts were fast to respond to get it back to me. We will definitely come back to this spot!

Wonderful place for a big group to stay. 4 rooms with queen beds, each room has its own bathroom, and there’s even a common bathroom in the common area. Very clean and nice place.

We had a glorious few days at Nigel’s San Juan property. The location can’t be beat, the house very comfortable, and Nigel was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Don’t pass this one up on your next visit to San Juan!

Can’t say enough about our stay!! The condo is a hidden gem with great amenities and comfy beds!! We absolutely loved everything and hope to return soon!

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

Booked this place as a birthday getaway for my parents. They had an absolutely amazingly time and loved the location of the Airbnb being right by the water

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

The stay at Jason's was peaceful and refreshing. It's a beautiful spot and nice and clean.

Loved staying in this beautiful area. The pool and hot tub right next to the ocean were the cherry on top. Tammy’s place was very clean. Felt cleaner than most hotels we’ve been to. Her instructions were crystal clear and we had zero issues accessing the condo and the amenities. Our only feedback; we were missing our creamer in the morning for our coffee. There’s a chance it was there but we didn’t find it! Other than that, we loved it and highly recommend!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Inn of the Sea! Debbie's suite was beautifully furnished and decorated, the bed and sofas were comfy, and we loved the loft style architecture of the townhouse with skylights and tall ceilings. The partial oceanview was also lovely. We enjoyed the amenities offered, like the communal hotub and BBQs (but a set of BBQ metal tongs or flipper weren't found within the suite unfortunately). The only minor con was noticing the outdoor spaces (main and smaller decks) weren't cleaned; the leaves and dirt should've been swept and the tabletop needed wiping too. Once my husband cleaned it, the deck was more inviting and enjoyable. Overall it was a nice place to stay, with lots to explore between Nanaimo and Ladysmith.

Beautiful home is overlooking Bennett Bay. Enjoy the peaceful bird sanctuary like feel with incredible ocean views for the daily sunrise. Amber is kind and very responsive. Don’t miss out on this amazing place ! We’ll be back soon.

The hosts are warm, caring and responsive. The furniture is very comfortable- it's nice to have recliners. The whole suite is well-stocked with quality towels, appliances, toiletries, etc. The location couldn't be better. It's a quiet neighborhood and there are lovely walking areas very close by. The nearby beach is a must-see, especially when you walk way out in low tides. The highlight- a view from the balcony that no words can describe. So therapeutic! This was a wonderful place to stay and it was hard to leave! The house itself was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed to cook meals for the six of us. The views from all of the rooms were spectacular of the ocean, boats, birds and sea lions. There were thoughtfully placed chairs outside to enjoy the scenery and sunsets. The wifi was good and meant that one of our sons could work during part of our stay. This house felt like home and was in such a peaceful and beautiful location. Paul was an excellent host and was friendly and responsive to any questions we had. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Dal and Solveig’s suite is very comfortable, clean, peaceful, quiet with gorgeous views. They were such great hosts, responding quickly to anything, super friendly and informative about the area. Sue’s place was just right for us. The setting is beautiful, the space was really clean,, and there was a bowl of fruit let for us. Sue and Brad made every effort to make us comfortable. We especially loved that there’s a pub 3 minutes away, and another about 10 minutes away, and both were excellent. All in all a good stay.
