Monthly Rentals in Salt Creek

This is one of the top places I have ever stayed in my life. What a privilege it was to stay and be so immersed in nature. while it is isolated, that was exactly what we were looking for. there is incredible Coral right in front of the dock, and dozens of the giant starfish that people pay to see on tour. Off-Grid, quiet, beautiful, a nature lovers dream. honestly I can't wait to get back. Rodney was incredibly communicative beforehand helping us decide what to pack + what to make sure we bought before arrival. he arranges your transport from Bocas to his beautiful house and back which is a huge bonus. he also provides potable water. Kind and attentive hosts, they really made us feel at home + appreciated. if you love nature, amphibians, the birds, and of course snorkeling, and you're okay with skipping The nightlife then this is the place for you!

Please keep in mind this is an ecolodge, not a mainland hotel! The place was clean and as described. I had minimal encounters with bugs inside, one spider, a few little flys and mosquitos, very minimal, they do a great job at keeping them out and things clean. I was here during the rainy season and was very lucky with the weather, but I can see the trail getting muddy if it is raining, so have appropriate shoes. I went snorkeling multiple times a day, kayaking and on the trails. I recommend the guide, as it’s easy to miss the sloths in the canopy, but there are lots of other things to see. Everyone was friendly and helpful and having meals together was nice. I was traveling on my own and like space and it was a great balance of having your own private space and being able to meet new ppl. I didn’t feel the need to take any trips off the island but if I were there longer I might have. If you want to relax, be in nature and still be comfortable this is a great place.

Julieta’s place is a bit higher than the rest of Old Bank village, so it’s very quiet and peaceful. She has a big garden surrounded by big trees and bamboos specifically her jackfruit trees attracted many birds which we could observe every day from our room! The trail to Wizards’ beach is right at the corner where we saw a couple of sloths! She is very friendly person who cares about us all through our stay by messages, despite she was off the island. Highly recommended!

The home is a dream !!! It is located in a magnificent garden and is still only 1 min walk from the sea. The property is very large, quiet and well equipped. There are, for example, kayaks, children's sand toys, yoga mats, umbrellas (which was quite convenient), lots of games and books, even Lego, washing machine, dryer (which was also quite convenient😉) and the kitchen really has everything you need. There are also great gadgets, such as wooden tables and benches that can be folded away. So they don't take any space inside, but when it rains and you need space you quickly have a large dining table... etc... Steve is a great host, welcomed us great and gave us many tips, phone numbers and recommendations. We also took a private tour to various destinations with an acquaintance of his, which we can 100% recommend! Thank you again for everything !!! I hope we can come back someday. Greetings to Niña...
