Perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway! We were able to go to Yale art museums for the day and then came back to check out the beaches. Definitely recommend the trip to Dockside Seafood and Grill in Branford for lobster pasta! The hot tub was also the best way to end the day with a peaceful beautiful view!! Would definitely go back again!

I had a wonderful weekend at Andrew’s place in East Hampton. It was gorgeous, perfect location, perfect layout, and such a central location to everything. It was incredibly clean and organized and the backyard was beautiful for relaxing. Andrew was also a terrific host- he left us beverages, was super communicative and flexible and I’m so happy I stayed here. Hopefully I’ll rent again soon!!

Took a getaway to Martin's cottage for a long weekend and could not have been happier. It was immaculately clean and the hot tub was ab amazing way to relax. I look forward to being back.

Our stay at this lakeside retreat was perfect! The house was exactly as described, with stunning views that exceeded expectations. Mornings with coffee and evenings with cocktails on the back porch became our favorite ritual. The picturesque fire pit and thoughtful touch of Hershey bars for s’mores were delightful, though we didn’t get to use them this time. Our host was incredibly responsive, quickly resolving a hot tub issue, and their winery recommendations were spot-on! Quick tip: If arriving after dark, keep exterior lights off initially to avoid lakeside gnats. We noticed a few stink bugs on day one (nature’s welcome!), but they completely disappeared afterward. My stay at the lake house was perhaps my greatest experience at an Airbnb so far. It was our wedding weekend and the girls got ready there in the morning and hubby and I relaxed there afterwards. The incredible thoughtful touches, the care Talita and Vinny took to go the extra mile and make sure we had a pleasant time, our stay here was beyond perfect. We always love going to this cottage. It’s our favorite. It’s actually one of our favorite places. To go a few times a year winter summer. We just spent memorial weekend there. A little doggies loved it. Home away from home so cozy. Bobby the host is wonderful. My daughter boyfriend came up and they absolutely loved it and my son came from Texas to spend one night. It was his first time there he loved it. We already planning on going back. Fantastic getaway. If you need to distress and want calmness. This is the place to come to. And the town of Mystic has great restaurants Like I said it’s our favorite place to come to and I’ve been to quite a few…. Just got home today and I’m seeing if I can book some sometime in October to go back we love it.

We loved our stay here. It was the perfect place for two of us and our dog. The home was just as described, welcoming, cosy and well equipped, and we appreciated all the local recommendations. We enjoyed local walks, the lake, and the great dog park, as well as easy access to Middletown to visit our son. Elisabeth and Daniel were fantastic hosts!

Look no further! The Beach Cottage is beautiful, immaculate, private, and all things one would hope a vacation getaway would entail. This location feels “off the grid” albeit close to modern amenities/stores. Hope to be back soon!

Jeanne's place was perfect for my trip to Guilford. Excellent location, close to the Green and to the water, quiet, peaceful. The house had everything I needed and more, Jeanne was super responsive and kind, and the bed was comfortable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Milton & Megan's Montauk house! It was perfect for a group of 4 (2 couples) there for a 4 day trip. The house is very quiet & peaceful, with lots of outdoor space, but also very walkable to town. The house was super clean, and everything was very easy to find. The bedrooms had lots of closet space, the TV was easy to set up, and all the amenities listed on the website were accurate. We'd love to come back again and stay. Thanks!

Always love staying at Ron’s. It’s so peaceful. Perfect location and beautiful Ocean views with a short ride if you need to go to town. Montauk Music Fest is a must. Amazing talent and great way to see all Montauk venues. Ron so great to have as a host!

Meghan's place is exactly as posted it is absolutely beautiful, cozy, comfortable and did I say beautiful? one of my favorite things to do was sit in front of the big windows and read. You have everything you can think of close, at least 4 to 6 minutes away. There are restaurants, super market and pharmacies. But if you are like me and also like to cook sometimes on vacation the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Highly, highly recommend.

The cottage was fantastic, and Jodi was an amazing host. Communication was effortless and timely, and Jodi was helpful, proactive and generous. I loved how close the sound was to the cottage - hopefully I'll be able to stay there again, and if I do I'll bring a kayak with me. For the purposes of this stay, though, maybe the best thing was how close it was to where I was working for the week - less than a 5-minute drive to downtown Old Saybrook.

Wonderful place to get away from the busy life. We found it relaxing and a convenient 20 min drive to the academy We will definitely book again!

The fresh air off the lake, the trees blowing in the wind, birds singing their songs. The place was surrounded by beauty. Although the weather wasn't warm enough to swim, we read books on the back deck and played cards on the porch. The beds were comfy, the shower was warm, and we hope to come back when we can vacation instead of attend a work conference. Highly recommend. Chandra was right there if we had any questions. A+++

The cottage is on a beautiful lake and is very relaxing . The morning sunset on our second day was amazing. Perfect couples retreat or in our case girls weekend. Our host, Donna, was very responsive and provided extra goodies. The house was clean and comfortable. We visited Gillette’s Castle and downtown Chester had lunch at Market 37 . Unfortunately, we had rain and could not enjoy deck right on the water.

We had a wonderful time at Allison's place - the location was great and the property had fantastic amenities that made traveling as a family much easier. Allison was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. We look forward to returning!

This place has so much charm! Clean. Comfy beds and linens. Well stocked kitchen. Everything you nee to feel right at home. Very safe neighborhood.

The house was beautiful and very nicely renovated recently. Great appliances in the kitchen, comfortable seating in dining area and living room and multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the full river view. The location is right on the water and peaceful but yet only a few minutes to restaurants and groceries. The house is ideal for a couple wanting to have a relaxing getaway. We had 4 adults staying and that pretty much filled the space, especially with only one bathroom. But the bedrooms were a comfortable size and the beds comfy.
