Anna’s house was a delight. Very private and beautifully located. It was great to rent the boat so we could get around the other islands and explore. Anna was very communicative and helpful! The sauna was amazing!

If you want to really slow down, live with the see, swimming, kayaking, fishing and heating your own sauna, Annas place is for you. We rented the motorboat that cimes with the house but did not use it often Reserve enough time to get to the island (at arrival day, best is to be in Stockholm before noon) and be prepared to bring/buy everything you need for your WHOLE stay (but Anna helped us out with the wine 😊). Anna answers all your questions in an instant. We enjoyed the quietness and the relativ seclusion every day. Would love to come back.

Certainly the best place of holiday ever. We spent a wonderful time on this island. It’s perfect for a couple, it’s a really romantic and magical place. The view (and weather) was incredible ! The lovely house has a direct access to the sea, the private pier (the best place to read ever) and the sauna. The kitchen, bedroom and the outdoor shower are very convenient. You can rent the boat, which is easy to drive, if you want to drive in the archipelos and discover other islands (but the best island is clearly Anna’s one). Anna’s house is even better than on the Airbnb pictures. You have to see it to believe it ! Everything was great thanks to Anna who helped us for everything.

Our week on the small island was just wonderful. Such a special holiday home with a very stylish interior. We rented the small boat and could go shopping with it. Otherwise we got great tips from Anna. She is such a friendly hostess and strives to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The communication was totally easy. We would come back anytime!

If you want to reload yourself in an astonishing environment, feeling the ritmes of the sea, slow down by living the simple life, than this is the place for you.

This is one of the most amazing houses we‘ve ever been. The location is exceptional, the architcture impressive and Anna‘s hospitality was exemplary. You need to be aware that the island is quite remote. It is perfect for SUP, kayaking or simply to relax.

One of the most greatest places I have stayed. Cosy and modern. The fireplace is amazing as is the hot tub. The lake is beautiful. The peace, the sound of silence is so appreciated especially if you live in a city as busy as London. Highly recommended. Great hosts! Thankyou again.

We had a great weekend at the house and really enjoyed the jacuzzi. Everything is just as described. The house is a bit away from the town so having a car is recommended! Lovely location by the lake and you can just walk through the forest around the lake from there.

Me, my husband and our 8 month old son had an amazing weekend in this absolutely wonderful place! Everything was as described and we had a great and fast communication with Christoffer and Paulina. We actually arrived about 1,5 hour later to the key pick up than we had agreed, but that was no problem at all - so great with such flexibility when traveling with a baby. Throughout our stay we got assistance with even the smallest details - and I can’t think of any greater hosts - very kind and helpful. When we arrived they had put up both a crib and chair for the baby, which made our stay even better. I can definitely recommend both the house and the hosts - great view and such quiet neighborhood really gives you new energy. This is not the last time we have visited this place - and friends and family are already planning to go as well - so hurry up and book this amazing place before it’s too late ❤️

The week in the house was really nice. Everything that was described was on site and everything was functional. The house is in a great location. The nature around is beautiful. It was also great that the WiFi, the music systems and the whirlpool worked great. There were also towels on site that we were allowed to use. Communication with the hosts was always courteous. I can only recommend it.

House is located in a lovely area on the edge of a lake, the house itself was very modern and clean. The host was really helpful and always quick to message back. Would recommend.

We had a really good time at Carl’s place. The cabin was super nice and we could enjoy Swedish winter as a complete experience. Carl was taking care of all our questions pretty fast and made the trip memorable.

Carl's beach cabin was a perfect spot for us to stay in Lulea. It's directly on the lakefront with stunning views across the frozen winter landscape. The cabin is cosy and provides a nice place to stay a short ways away from town (bus or drive in 10 minutes). Carl is a wonderful host and very hospitable. Recommend this to anyone looking for an inviting place to stay in Lulea.

Me and my cousin had a wonderful time at the Carls cabin. The house was great, we had everything we needed and the view; there are no words for the view. it was gorgeous!! We recommend it to everyone. Next to the place, Carl is a great host. He is always there when you need something and very kind. If you need tips for things to do: he's your guy. The house is located in a residential area in a super nice location. There is traffic on the road leading to town, but the location is so quiet that you forget that it's there. It's not in the wilderness, but it feels like it is. Also; it's a five minute drive to town, which is really nice. Nature + city life: what else do you want more? Long story short: if you want to have a special stay in Swedish Lapland, this is the place to be!

WOW! What else can I say other than wow. My partner and I had a fantastic trip here. The cabin is situated in an idyllic spot on a beautiful lake. The location is fantastic as it is close to the city centre (10-15min) but far enough away to really relax and enjoy the outdoors and tranquility. The best of both worlds. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights! All we had to do was walk out the door and look up to the sky. Such a brilliant and beautiful light show, I could hardly believe my eyes!! Such a highlight as we had travelled all the way from Australia to catch a glimpse and it really exceeded expectations. Carl is everything you want in a host. Friendly, helpful and attentive. Carl really sets the bar high for a super host. He was there for support 24/7 and provided fantastic tips and tricks for the surrounding areas. He also provides fun activities to do for a small cost. Totally worth it. Just to reiterate this is a trip I will remember for the rest of my life! 12/10 stars!!!

Wow - what an incredible experience! The cabin and location was more than we’d expected. Breathtaking views, wonderful hospitality and a cosy little cabin with everything we needed for our stay. Carl was so helpful and such a great host. He thinks of all the small details and made sure we were all set for a comfortable and memorable time. He absolutely succeeded. Small but cozy and with a great view of the surroundings, great located close to the city bus and with lakes and forests, and well prepared skiing tracks, around the corner.

The house is nice, and the lake next to the house has beautiful winter scenery. The landlord also provides help with various amusement programs. Recommended

The location is fanstastic with a spectacular view that gets even better at night. The loft had everything we needed and the level of information in the booklet in the house was splendid. I cannot recommend this place enough for a weekend getaway or a longer stay.

This place is even better than on the photos, a very cosy and stylish space with everything needed, and with a breathtaking view, especially on the sunrise. A quite and picturesque neighborhood and a forest nearby. Would definitely come back.

We had great days in this very special accomodation! You can wake up with a sunrise lake view. Everything was clean and the interior is nice and modern. There is no stove but a gas grill on the balcony. We can only recommend to enjoy this place!

The Loftstugan is a really nice place to calm down and to enjoy the beautiful nature of Sweden! Unfortunately we didn’t have snow (but much rain) but the cabin is so cozy that we enjoyed our time inside (fireplace, sauna and a very lovely cat!). Nice place to stay at all time of the year. We would like to come back in summer!

Great cabin with the right atmosphere. Lots of attention to detail like lighting, design, candles etcetera. We felt welcome here and enjoyed our time a lot, even in winter. You can take walks in the area & heat up the sauna. You could cool off in the lake, but we did not try. Recommended to other travellers

This place is every bit as spectacular as the images suggest and even more so. If you are looking for a place to fulfil your desire to go off grid for a short stay then this is the retreat for you. Amenities are great, the area is so beautiful and easily accessible by car. The communication with Marja is brilliant and swift. Be prepared to be blown away by this place, I’m already planning my return visit it’s that good. Thank you Marja ~ your hospitality is second to none as is Loftstugan.

We stayed two nights with a two year old here. A staircase in the house but makes us work well as our daughter is used to stairs. Great location by the water and good area to relax for a few days. Nice hospitality and we felt really welcome!

Great place in a very beautiful and quiet place. The sauna was top!

Fredrik was a great host even though we only met for a couple of minutes. Everything was really good. Much better than expected. Everything was spot on. The bath was great, the sauna was amazing, the bed was the most comfortable bed in any AirBnB we've stayed in. Plenty of hot water to go around, even after a bath. And with the AC plus a toasty fire, the whole place is plenty warm. The atmosphere was cozy and wonderful and the view was to die for, even though we had gray weather. Make sure to book a massage if that's your thing- definitely worth every penny. If you're coming in the winter, make sure to bring some food to cook since there's not a lot of options around. Anything you forget can be picked up at the kiosk up the street. Same for drinks.

Made accommodation for a love holiday with time, tranquility and enjoyment in beautiful surroundings. Tastefully decorated and lots of inspirational literature on the shelves. Warmest recommendation.

What a slice of paradise to wash all the stresses of the world away. Right off the main track, secluded yet part of a small community. The shower was a highlight for me as it has all sorts of settings and functions. I wish I had booked a masseuse as it was fully equip, so I would suggest you treat yourself. There was a lot of decor that added to the charm and you couldn’t help but feel at home. I would certainly come back. Helpful tip: bring single duvet covers as single duvets are provided and can be a little difficult to stuff two into the queen size cover. A unique experience, I will certainly come back.

Great place to go out and be a bit away from everything, while remaining with a great comfort : electricity, cooking tools, this house has a lot of equipment ! Very clean and very nice place to stay, highly recommend it for up to 3-4 people, ideal for a couple or 2-3 friends. The location is ideal, close to the ferry stop, beautiful sightseeing. I stayed at Torbjörn’s place over a long weekend in November. It was a very lovely stay. The house is very charming and stylish. A true Swedish archipelago experience with a house up the hill on beautiful rocks and a summer house toilet. Torbjörn is a very pleasant and caring host. Communication was very good. I’m definitely hoping to stay at Tobbe’s place again.

Although we did not get to meet Thorbjörn, the communication and all arrangements were made really easy therefore we thank him for that! The place was spotless with impressive decor and location. Would recommend it to anyone looking for peace and calm.

The cabin is beautiful and living in the middle of nature is incredible. It was a lot of fun to use the dry toilet and the small stove!

Eva and Ulrich were the perfect hosts. They picked us up on their lovely boat and brought us to the island which was a stunning boat ride. They offered advice on places to walk, things to see on the island and even gave us some lessons on what types of berries and mushrooms to pick in the forest. They were very accomodating and friendly and we had an absolutely magical stay on the island. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere beautiful and in the heart of swedish nature.

For a retreat in the nature, far from modern distractions, this is the place to book. Close to the water and forest, we felt very relaxed and at peace!

Looking for rest and peace? This is the perfect place in the archipel; a very quiet and private historic cottage in a beautifully kept garden on a small island. Eva and Ulrich are great hosts! The small cottage was very cosy, had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. They know that less = more in such a tiny house! Just sit on the pier with a book and enjoy peacefulness! Our dog loved it too. It was very nice to be able to use the kayaks for a tour around the island. For swimming we could just dive from the rocks in the back of the garden. In the distance big cruise ships passed by, a great sight to see. We even went to Stockholm for a day with the local ferry. Be sure to bring food for a few days because the island has no shop or pub. Ulrich even took care of the pick up service himself.

This Studio House is a dream, from the very first second you'll see you'll fall in love ! Veronika and Bo thought about EVERYTHING in this place. It's so far, my best airbnb ever ! Yes, you have to take 2 buses(819 + 807) and 1 subway (Gullmasplan to Gamla Stan or T-centralen, green Line 17, 18 or 19) to reach the center of Stockholm, but it's very simple and smooth, the transports are so easy during the day, it take less than 50 min. But if you come back at the end of the day you'll have to walk 20 min from "Trollbackens centrum" to the House but, the walk is very cool ! It was snowing when we were there and it was so awesome. In spring and summer you can take a boat on the river or biking, i'm sure it's wonderful too ! Thank you again

The studio is perfect and very well equipped. The view is beautiful. Bo and Veronika are very responsive. Do not hesitate. Very good address and good value for money. Close to supermarkets and the center of Trollbäcken.

Veronika and Bo's place is PERFECT. I came here to do a bit of writing and it was perfect. From the complimentary bottle of fizz on arrival, to the amazing sound system and all basic kitchen appliances you could require. This is the perfect AirBnB.

Beautiful accommodation right on the lake! The equipment was perfect, you had everything you need! In addition, everything was super clean and with a car you had great connections! :) We will be back definitely! Just a shame that no dogs are allowed, we would have loved to bring it next time!

Very charming cottage, perfect for traveling with a dog!

If we could give this Airbnb 10 stars, we would. Sture & Pia provide not just a place to sleep, but an experience of true hospitality. We stayed here during our honeymoon to Scandinavia, and it was one of our favorite parts of our entire trip. We had the loveliest meals, and felt truly at home in their beautiful cottage. Sture was a wealth of information about the area, and provided us with some wonderful tips to explore the beautiful wild spaces right around the farm. You cannot do better than this! We would come back in a heartbeat.

It was incredibly beautiful in the little house of Pia and Sture. The two are very warm hosts and you get an insight into how the real Swedish life works. Breakfast and dinner were prepared with so much love, everything baked and from our own farm, eggs from our own chickens etc. Really great! At first I was concerned that it was too far from the shot but it was the perfect mix of nature and city. It takes around 40 minutes to get to the city by bus, so that's clear. Thank you again for this wonderful experience! Can really recommend it to everyone :)

This is a beautiful cottage and location, we had such a relaxing and lovely stay, with lots of hiking and exploration of the local area. We had a delicious vegetarian evening meal and breakfast cooked by Pia and Sture... They were exceptional. We look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend a visit.

Super nice cottage on the outskirts of Stockholm. Stockholm was only 20 minutes away by car. Shops were also within 5 minutes. The hosts are super helpful and just lovely! We also had breakfast there, there were even eggs from our own farm and homemade rolls and cakes. The own sauna was stupid for 2 people but a great experience after a hard day.

The island and the stuga are amazing. Such an incredible place to be. Bosse took us to the stuga as we agreed before our trip and he met us at the wright time as we scheduled. He explained how everything worked on the stuga. A really nice guy. We recommend the stuga to everyone who wants to live in the beautiful nature of Stockholm, incredible views and paths. And the swedish sauna is amazing. Kitchen includes everything that you need to cook and some spare food. Totally worth it!

We decided relatively spontaneously during our vacation to spend a few days on an island near Stockholm. The communication was perfect. We always had an answer very fast. The hosts are very helpful. Bo picked us up and brought us to the island, as there is no public ferry service in October during the week. The accommodation is exactly as described. We enjoyed both the sauna and the boat available. A very good place to relax and enjoy nature. We will be back.

It is amazing and absolutely lovely on Vättersö! Lena and Bosse's cabine is a beautiful and cozy place to explore the small island with its nature. They even helped my out by getting on the island on my first day which made the organisation of the trip quite easy. Thanks to the both of you! I totally recommend staying at their place in case you're looking for some relaxing time out there in the nature.

The stay was super. We enjoyed the nature around the hut and the simple, but very convenient livestyle. The hut, the sauna with private jetty and the activity possibility with the kajaks was great. The stay was absolutely wonderful. We very much hope to come back to this little paradise one day.

Lena's and Bo's tiny house has everything you need to have some nice, relaxing days out in the Archipelago (and is as well a bit adventurous - regarding the cold shower and the way to the house if you come by public ferry for instance). The surrounding is beautiful as well - we enjoyed every spot of the island! Fortunately, Lena organised a private boat tour and car ride back to the airport, which has been very helpful!

The cabin is a jewel in a wonderful and peaceful archipelago environment. Even the journey by ferry from Stockholm is an experience. The island is easy to explore in half a day on foot, but far more spectacular is an island tour with the kayak, which is available. In addition, you can use the wood-heated sauna and a barbecue is available. Lena and Bosse were extremely accommodating and helpful hosts and Lena even took me to the airport because the departure time of the ferry would not have made it possible to get to the airport on time. Anyone looking for nature and peace, I can highly recommend the hut.

We had a wonderful Time at the cottage. The cottage Is in a very good condition and has a fully equipped kitchen. Fiorella was very helpful and gave us good Tipps during our stay. After 5 days we‘re super relaxed and sad to leave this cosy place. Thanks Fiorella for your great hospitality.

We had such an amazing stay at Fiorella's. So beautiful, clean and picturesque. Fiorella is a really helpful host and adds perfect extra touches (such as candles for the hot tub area and swimwear - which saved us the hassle of having to dry ours ready to pack again). Our stay was made even more magical by being fortunate enough to be there when the first snow of the year fell. Would definitely recommend staying here in the snow, it really is beautiful. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. Would very much like to return some day. Worth the trip!

We had a really good experience staying at Fiorella´s cottage. Everything is as described and as in the pictures. Private and secluded place, close to the sea, fireplace, sauna and all the other details and amenities made it an enjoyable experience. You are out of the city in the woods but also close enough to make it to the city by car or by bus ( ~30 min in total door2door) from the nearest shopping center which is only 5km away towards the highway. 100 % recommended for couples.

The small hut of Fiorella is really beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxing time! The definite highlight is of course the sauna and the hot tub. It takes time to start the hot tub, but it's worth it. With a nice tea by the fireplace, time flies by! A tip: go shopping beforehand and ensure enough firewood (at least in the cold months). If you don't arrive by car, the paths are very long (approx. 45 minutes on foot to the supermarket). The bus connections are good too, just a little more expensive. It was an all-round wonderful holiday and thanks to Fiorella for the nice hospitality!

Viktor was a very nice, helpful and attentive host. The cabin was very comfortable and nicely decorated. It was nice and warm despite the icy weather. The breakfast was nothing missing. We were allowed to taste regional and seasonal foods from Sweden. From the bus stop to the cabin were through a beautiful little forest on foot in 5 minutes zuerreichen. Everything was very clean and tidy. We had a nice stay, gladly again. Thank you Viktor!

His house is in the middle of the forest, we were amazed by the silence at night when you couldn't hear a thing! We loved everything about this place, it was an unique experience. Would recommend 100% to anyone looking for a peaceful place in the swedish nature. Viktor is an amazing host, we really enjoyed the 5stars breakfast he offers. Also the company of Yatzi and Pipis add a special feeling to our stay.

I highly reccomend staying at Viktors cozy home. He is very friendly, makes a great breakfast, and of course has two lovely cats. Even if the weather is less than ideal it's not a problem because you can always have a soak in the hot tub! Do yourself a favour and spend a few days here!

A little paradise on earth

This place is really an airbnb gem. Located in a beautiful forest, it is cozy, private and well decorated. The sauna is close by and also has a lot of privacy. Hilda was a great host and even left us fresh apple cider on arrival.

Really cosy house on a black in nature, where it is really dark end quiet. Wonderful! And the sauna is great. It was a bit difficult (in the winter) to find nice hiking tracs. Therefore we finally went to Långasjö, where we got good information at the hostel. Unfortunately we did not meet Hilda (she did not live in the house next by). I am sure this would make it even more complete, as you can ask somebody local about tips and tricks.

Hildas place was absolutely perfect for a short trip to sweden if you want to hang out and relax. The house was comfy and clean. The area is quiet and very traditional swedish. Woods and red houses. We definitely loved it.

No better place to spend a quiet holiday and get away from it all. We came here for the second time. Thanks to Hilda for having us again and for taking the time to come visit.

Our experience was amazing! We really enjoyed the Sauna and get lost in the wilderness. The house is really cozy and beautiful! Daniel was very nice and welcomed us warmly.

It was a great pleasure to enjoy the Swedish countryside with Daniel's beautiful cottage as our temporary 'home'. Also in winter this is the place to be and relax, a very welcome break from the - still nearby - city life. So peaceful and quiet, so bright and tidy! To have a private sauna and the forest on your doorstep is an unforgettable luxury. We easily could have stayed there for days :) Thanks a lot Daniel, also for helping us city girls to make the wood fire for the sauna!

I've stayed at this beautiful cabin nearly one week and it was awesome! The sauna is definitely the best and Daniel is really nice and answers quickly. I came by train/bus and it was easy to find, but I think to explore the area around a little more it is even better to have a car. But everything else was super nice, highly recommended!

The cabin was more beautiful and bigger than expected (from viewing the pictures). I especially loved the upper loft with the mattresses . The wood , the kitchen & living room make it very very cosy . It was super spacious for us as a couple. The house rules are very clear and Daniel is a friendly/flexible host. The surrounding forests are a beautiful area to hike. It was surprisingly easy to get there from Stockholm with public transport.

Excellent location, perfect Swedish decoration with your own Sauna! Google cast TV(very helpfully for my whole month of staying there) and kitchen with everything that you need to cook! I have to say a big thank to Daniel for his hospitality!!

I spent two days at Daniel's place and it was great experience. if you like to be in touch with nature, enjoy the quietness and appreciate firewood old fashioned sauna then you would definitely love this place. kitchen is very good equipped which was important for me. Daniel is a kind, generous person and always willing to help.

It was almost too good to be true! If you are looking for the calmness, silence, you love nature but comfort is important then you are gonna love this place. And if you want to take sauna after a long day out in the forest then this is a paradise!

The best

Carina’s flat is a cosy and lovely place to spend your stay in. It is also conveniently located close to the metro station or if you prefer, town is easily accesible at a 45min walk. The flat is cute and stylish, bed is really comfortable and Carina is a wonderful host who will go the extra mile to make you feel at home. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. Tack Carina!

Carina was extremely hospitable and my stay was great. She was very considerate when I told her I had to leave very early in the morning to catch a flight. The room was very clean and cozy. She provided many amenities like earplugs and things to read about Stockholm. My stay was exactly how I needed it to be!

Carina was a wonderfully welcoming and easygoing host, the space was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. Easy to get to from multiple subway lines and buses, and having the grocery store right around the corner was very convenient. Having laundry right in the apartment was so helpful, and I loved that Carina was always up for a chat, or we could each do our own thing. The cats were lovely, and I would absolutely go back!

To understanding and waiting up for me when I realized last minute that I booked an incredibly late flight and making sure I got in okay at 2:00 am! Everything was super cozy! Your place is a perfect location to walk to the grocery store, museums, parks, and visit Stockholm. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Staying with Carina was very easy. The check-in was easy, the way to the house was well described. The room in which we slept is very nicely decorated and living together with Carina went smoothly. You also sleep in the courtyard, so it was always very quiet. There is also the possibility to cook something to eat. In general, it was the perfect basis for our tours in Stockholm. You have to walk to the city center in about 30 minutes, but you can do it right along the water, which was not a problem for us, but rather a nice opportunity, especially at night when Stockholm's lights are reflected in the water. We can only recommend Carina's home, you can't go wrong with this :).

Very clean, super stylish and really thoughtful touches with instructions and everything you need for a comfortable stay. As someone who's spent a lot of time in Varberg, I can honestly say that the location is extremely good - super close to the beach, sea and nature!

Although certain things like the bed and the oven is a little tricky, the place is very nice :) me and my girlfriend had a wonderfull stay on our way back to Norway from Germany and it was just what we needed after a long drive.

We enjoyed our stay. The place is pretty small but we knew that before and for 2 persons it's enough and super cozy. Every basic stuff you might need in the kitchen is provided. Bedsheets and towels als well. It's just a few meters to the sea where you can do nice walks. Also, we met Lynn and Olle and both were super friendly!

The day I left the cabin was literally me not wanting to leave! The hut is located right next to a lake at the bottom of a hill, so you really feel like it`s your spot for the time you`re there. Although I haven`t met Håvard in person, the communication was flawless and he really thought of everything - hooks in the right places, additional candles and lighters, hot-water bags... there wasn`t a thing I missed. The house has a beautiful terrace with an amazing view of the lake, there`s a swing and kayaks for use. The cozy atmosphere in the cabin with the fireplace, getting on the water and enjoying the peaceful breeze or having breakfast on the terrace - now I know that my happy place looks exactly like this. Getting to the house by public transport was also quite easy: from the bus stop it`s just a few hundred meters downhill to the house. So you get the feeling of being "in the wild" without being cut off, which was a big plus for me as a female solo train traveller. I felt safe all the time. To round it up: I had a wondrous time and if the experience I had excites you, then this cabin is for you.

The guesthouse by the lake was amazing. Everything was very thought through and it was the perfect mixture of simple and comfortable. The communication and check-in were easy and quick and everything we needed was provided. The couch bed was very comfortable and more than big enough for two people. We would have liked to spend more days there.

What a nice place and cosy little cottage directly on the sea. We staid there a few nights and can recommend this to all travelers, who are searching for a special place to be in Sweden :)

We really loved our 2 night stay in this ideally located airbnb! The cabin is simple, but everything that you need is right there! We especially enjoyed the two kayaks that come with the cabin, as well as the stunning view. Håvard is also super friendly and sympathetic. As it gets quite cold during the night (at least it was during our stay), we were happy about the wood oven and the thick blankets that kept us warm :) all in all, it was a perfect stay for us!

This place is INCREDIBLE. A slice of heaven on earth. I wish I could’ve stayed here my entire trip. The host was as hospitable as can be, and the Gäststugan was spotless and stylish. And the views cannot be beaten! If you have the opportunity to stay at this place, DO IT. Hårvard was able to get us fishing poles and accommodated everything just for us. If it were possible, he would get 6 stars.

We were looking for a relaxing weekend away from the city with a quiet location by the water and beautiful views and that’s exactly what we experienced! We loved our stay at Eva and Ulrich. The place is simply idyllic, we did kanoe in the middle of the islands, a day of great sun. We felt alone in the world! The sauna in the evening was also amazing. The cabin has all the necessary equipment to cook (including a barbecue with charcoal :)) and we did not miss anything during these two days.

The hosts are very welcoming and cordial. Nothing was too much to ask. The wood-fired sauna is a must. I can definitely recommend this cabin and the hosts!

This Cottage is the most incredible little place for enjoying a truly authentic archipelago experience. The location is absolutely superb - a veritable paradise with absolute tranquility all around. The hosts provide really useful instructions for finding the place, and how to use the cottage. It is beautifully decorated and includes everything you need for a perfect short stay such as barbecue and outside seating. A wonderful place!

This place is great. Awesome. One of my all time favorite places. I was there for 4 days and really enjoyed it. it is beautiful and isolated. You must be prepared for a few things.....like filtered drinking water that you haul from the owners' house, and an outhouse at a remove from the cabin. Of course having it at a distance is great, but it requires a bit of planning for those late-night stops. I'd also suggest being really prepared for ticks. Big and small. This is the outdoors. It is the essence of the archipelago. But you have to come prepared. But if you love the outdoors, this is pretty close to glamping

This is the second time I have been to this beautiful place and I can still highly recommend this to others who love nature, peace and idyll. The first time I was alone and enjoying the silence on the bridge. Now I have had the most beautiful stay and travel with my lovely girlfriend

Absolutely would stay here again; perfect location with public transportation nearby, gorgeous Gamla Stan being very walkable itself, and right by the water! Check-in was as seamless as it can be, the apartment itself was a beautiful layout and spacious. Cleanliness of the kitchen area could have been better, as there were a couple of stains from before the stay and other small parts that were overlooked, but other than that it was a well-kept space. This is one of my favorite Airbnbs so far overall, both location and the value for what you get, so it's a high recommendation for others!

Kristinas place is in a wonderful location - we would definitely advice staying in the warmer months as most places are closed for winter around this time of year. There are beautiful walks from the Airbnb and plenty of paths to follow. In terms of the kitchen facilities it is well stocked with a kettle, induction hob and cooking equipment, however, be aware that there is no oven. Overall a lovely place to visit!

Kristina is a wonderful host! She is really friendly and gave us many advice. The cottage is beautiful and cosy. You get everything you need and all is perfectly clean. The view from the inside is beautiful and very peaceful :) We definitely recommend it and we would come back. Thanks Kristina :)

Everything it's perfect in this cosy, relaxing and charming cottage. Also, you will find everything you need. Kristina is super cool and her place is adorable. We regret to stay just a one night. If we known....but it is a perfect way to begin our travel and maybe for you too. You should to walk behind the church, like Kristina's advice. It is wonderfull. The landscapes are so feeric. Run to this house!

It was fabulous. The journey was very winding and lengthy, but worth it. You are near the bay and the accommodation is like a kind of glass container in the rocks. Very cozy, if very small. The most necessary cooking equipment is available. Beautiful view of the rocks from the bed. The bathroom was a small cabin, right next to the house that you have to go out to. The house is above the parking lot and is quite steep. The accommodation was great and probably the best in summer. The hostess was really nice and even told me about the history of the village in a short walk and showed me sights. Super host, she was just great!

Kristina's Pearl is an amazing place and we enjoyed our stay a lot! We made a very spontaneous trip for New Year's Eve and it was no problem for Kristina, that we just booked a couple of days in advance. Kristina was super helpful! She gave us a lot of local tips and she's super friendly! The city of Grundsund is gorgeous, the landscape just beautiful. But what really made it an amazing New Year's Eve is Kristina's little house! Just a lovely place! :-) We had an amazing time and it was a New Year's Eve, I will never forget - thanks to Kristina's Pearl! Unfortunately, we only spent one night in Grundsund. However, we really hope to come back and explore more of this lovely place! And Kristina's place will be our go-to address for that area! Happy New Year! :-)

My partner & I loved staying in Peders flat. It well exceeded our expectations! We expected it to be further out of the city but it is only a 10-15 minute bus ride on the 471. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for us to make our own meals and there is a very large supermarket just across the road. Peders cute doggo was an extra bonus! We would definitely stay here again!

If you're looking for a quiet place close to Sthlm, this is your chance. Convenient bus connection with Slussen and Nacka forum within walking distance. Nackareservatet is also within easy reach. The apartment has everything you need for a short-stay. Peder is a very nice host.

Very clean. 50m from the bus stop and 15mn from the center. Possibility of stroll there to a magnificent lake in the nature reserve 30mn from the market. I recommend this accommodation.

Peter created a very beautiful place and thought of the smallest details! Impressive, it has everything even a towel warmer, coffee, tea, spices, bowls, chandelier .. Best host I have had! Congratulations Peter! A Lord!

We had a great stay at Peder's house. The place is really nice and cosy and Peder gave us usefull pieces of advice. The house is just outside Stockholm but you can be in the center within 20 minutes (roughly).

Great house and great room design as well. Walking distance to a big shopping mall and supermarket. I enjoyed my stay with my friend.

We spent a great week in Peders lovingly furnished apartment. Our expectations, which were already quite high due to the beautiful pictures, were exceeded and we were looking forward to spending a few cozy hours there every night (mostly puzzling). Shops are easily accessible on foot and to get to the city center, buses run constantly at the bus stop two minutes away. Peder and his wife were very nice hosts and we would definitely come back and recommend the apartment.

Great place, I enjoyed my time

Eva and Lennart were great and helpful super hosts. We arrived after sunset and had some mix up with airbnb but they were very helpful and Lennart was on the phone with us until we drove to the right address. The place is spacious EXTREMELY CLEAN! Everything basics you need are available. Very many thoughtful touches especially if you have a baby (infant). Quiet area, safe neighbourhood. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a great weekend in Eva's cozy little Stuga. There was nothing wrong with us :-)

Kerstin’s apartment was gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. Kerstin as a host was welcoming and made sure that we felt at home. She made coffee for us each morning of our stay and kindly let us use her kitchen to prepare some food. The room was large and was very clean and stylish. It was also located right next to the bathroom which made it an extra convenience. The location of the apartment couldn’t be better as it was steps down the road from a bus that will take you anywhere you could want in Stockholm and less than a 10 min walk to the train. We would highly recommend staying at Kerstin’s if you’re in Stockholm. You won’t find better.

Ylva is a great host. Very attentive and friendly, quick to respond. The cabin really is as magical as it seems! Some things to mind: there's an outdoor (dry) toilet, and the beds are quite narrow. It was an amazing experience to sepnd a few days alone in the cabin, take walks in the woods, meditate, contemplate... Even though it was winter time, I had enough wood to make fire and enjoy my time there. Magical forest, lovely host- I truly recommend as a gateway frm the city!

Wonderful little cottage. Marjo was very friendly and let us both come earlier and go later than the rules. Much appreciated! Good to know is that we consumed 50 L of firewood for two days / two nights (including firewood for sauna) for two people. In the pictures you can think that the sauna is connected to the cottage, but it does not. The cottage is in a building, the sauna in a building and the docket in a building. In addition to these buildings, there is a large dwelling house, a smaller dwelling house and some outbuildings. So it is not completely isolated. We could choose how much / little we wanted to spend with the hosts. Just right. Cozy dogs.

Marjo’s cabin has, at least for us, been a good way to get a break from the daily life - by being more or less forced to concentrate on the basics. We spend the days with long walks, preparing and eating food, relaxing in the sauna, playing yatzy and reading. There isn’t much else to do, and that’s a positive thing :)).

We had a cozy weekend with close to nature. A perfect wooded "get away" in January, when the only thing missing was snow! Great to have the dishes in complete silence under the stars. Marjo's cabin is simple, but has everything needed! We also took advantage of the wood-fired sauna after a forest tour, it is highly recommended! Marjo was hospitable and helped with both water and had lit the stove before we arrived. We will miss her cute dogs!

Marjo also has two cute dogs who always want to play with one. All in all a great place to escape the noise from the big city for a few days, to enjoy nature and of course to stroke elk :)

The hut is right on the water and in the living room you can watch the sun rise and rise perfectly. It is a really nice piece of earth! We really enjoyed the week in the hut, you can switch off very well and let your mind wander.

Secluded super cozy cottage right on the lake. The kitchen was well equipped and there were board games to borrow and access to video / video games (we used the board games in front of the TV) Close to the shop, 10-15 minutes drive. Samuel was nice and hospitable, quick to answer questions and very helpful in general.

Great location by the lake, just 10 mins drive from the train station. Cozy cottage, remember warm clothes and slippers / slippers as it is really cold on arrival. Being able to, and like, wood burning is good for the stay to be good in the cold part of the year. We had a great weekend!

Wonderful relaxing weekend at the Lake. We simply enjoyed the wiev and quietness. The forrest is likewise fantastic and we had an adventures hike. The House was perfect for is and the children had a good sleep in the hems. I highly recommend the place to others.

AMAZING PLACE! We arrived very late, and it was no issue at all. It was dark, but thanks to the detailed description, not hard to find at all. The cottage was warm and cozy, and it comes with a jazussi that fitz two people! It was wonderful waking up to the great view! Would reccommend to anyone!

Classic swedish ‘stuga’ on a great location by a lake (incl views) and a perfect sauna with lake views too. Bengt is a very kind host and let’s you use everything in the house (fx four cycles, wood for the house/sauna etc). Warm recommendation from the Danes and a great spot for experiencing Nordic ‘hygge’ ;-)

Bengt is a very nice and hospitable host from the moment we got to the Cabin he greeted us and made conversation about our trip. He then followed up with clear instructions and guide on how to use the facilities he had on site. The cabin is very cozy and has an amazing view of the lake along with a personal guest sauna which is beautiful. We wished we stayed longer to use the guest bikes he had to ride around the lake. I would highly recommend Bengt place if you ever want a quiet and peaceful location to stay in Sweden.

The cabin is roomy, cozy and clean. Very close to Isaberg Mountain Resort and trails taking you to the top of the mountain are just behind the cabin. From the cabin's porch you have a nice view over the lake and city.

Fantastic little Swedish cottage that is idyllic and very close to the slopes. We can only give the best review. We borrowed their little dinghy for a beautiful sailing trip and enjoyed a few hours in the cozy sauna. Nothing was missing and everything was perfect. We will come again.
