  • Lisa's house is very stylish and comfortable, and she is very nice. The kitchen is large with great amenities, and her cat Mochi is very friendly! Fantastic stay for the price.

  • Beautiful, rustic farmhouse with amazing decor! Nice & Clean! In the country on a quiet road, yet only 2-3 minutes to downtown restaurants and route 7/etc, A+ location!! Lisa is very friendly & you will feel warm & welcome here. Just booked my 2nd straight week here as I'm working in nearby Manchester Center, VT M-F. Wi-Fi works great and plenty of TV channels if you want to relax in the living room.

  • Lisa is a great host. Her place is beautiful with lots of amenities. She has beautiful, fully stocked kitchen. The plates and mugs are amazing. The house is sparkling clean and is beautifully decorated. Our bedroom was nice and toasty on a cold winter night. And the pillows were really comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will come back if ever planning a trip to VT.

Welcome to our guest suite in the beautiful Northern Berkshires, home to many great cultural venues, including The Clark, Williamstown Theatre Festival and Mass MoCA. The newly updated private suite offers a queen pillow-top mattress, bathroom with stall shower, coffee bar and an outdoor seating area with mountain views. Located in a quiet neighborhood at the base of Mt. Greylock, we are a short walk to a local farm stand, and a few minutes drive to downtown Williamstown and North Adams.
  • We were very pleased with our stay at Dave and Ashley’s. We had done some hiking in the area and we were far enough from home where we made a fun little trip out of it to stay in the area for the night. Very beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great added touches with snacks, coffee, mini fridge, toiletries, TV, and more. Beautiful neighborhood and view of the mountains. Will definitely be back in the future!

  • A really cute place, super-conveniently located to all the great stuff in the Berkshires. It's essentially a detached studio, so while it's a snug space, you still feel you can spread out. Great view of the mountains, and Dave was really sweet to greet us as we were pulling in.

    Jonathan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The place was easy to find and cozy for 2 people. Dave and Ashley were quick to respond to our communication. Chris and Dave Hancock

  • Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and in a location that perfectly balances privacy and convenience. My bed was incredibly comfortable, and our hostess was kind enough to offer a variety of small breakfast options, tea, and coffee for the morning. Lisa is wonderful to talk to, as well. A perfect stay for an amazing price.

    Skye2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • The place is clean, modern, good quality amenities. Responsive and detailed on instructions. The accommodation is her house the not the barn (listing showed a pic of the barn), and we mistakenly thought that was it! Silly us. We liked the location with small town feel and have great restaurants for dinner!

    Vanessa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa’s house was wonderful. It is in a convenient location and was super clean and cozy. Our room was gorgeous; one of the pretties Airbnbs I’ve ever been in. 100% recommend!

    Devon2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa was a great host!! She’s very sweet and considerate and she has a beautiful home. The Christmas trees are so charming. The views even from Lisa’s property are stunning and Bennington is a very cute town to visit!

    Bridget2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is amazing!!! Her house and property? Gorgeous! A must stay if available. My son and I came in off a long snowy road trip and booked this rare gem on a whim. Short stay, but ever lasting impressions. Had the best sleep ever! By way of the beautiful house, the top notch amenities, and the genuine friendliness we received from our lovely host (Lisa). This short experience was a breath of fresh air. A unique home away from home... and a coooool cat to go with it! Simply wonderful! Sincerely yours, - Richard

Welcome to the historic Pollard House, circa 1890! We offer a private, one bedroom apartment within our home that is cozy, clean, comfortable with it own private entrance/sunroom . Downtown North Adams with its shops and restaurants and Mass MoCA are a short (10-15 minutes) walk down the hill. MCLA is even closer. Williamstown and Williams College are a 10-minute drive. We are happy to welcome guests of all races, religions, genders, and ethnicities. We look forward to your visit!
The apartment has a private access through a sun porch. It features a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, bedroom, and sitting room with pull-out sofa. We recently bought the house and have updated and painted to give the space a clean, airy feel. Situated in the rear of the house, off the street, the apartment is quiet and has views of the hills.
We live in a residential neighborhood on a typical, hilly North Adams street. We are about a 10-minute walk to downtown and another 5 minutes to Mass MoCA. Windsor Lake is a mile away where you can swim, kayak, and hike. Lots of great hiking can be had on Mount Greylock, which you can see from the house, and can be accessed by car in 10 minutes.
  • A great little apartment on a quiet side street. Galen is a generous host who provided lots of breakfast goodies, teas, coffee, all I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again on my next trip to the wonderful MassMoca!

    Susan2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Charming little apartment with a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Parking instructions from hosts were very helpful.

    Katie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay as this cozy spot. We ended up eating out during the day and cooking in at night--there was everything we needed, cooking-wise, to help make our meal. Galen was very responsive to any questions and helpful with local recommendations.

    Sophie2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute, clean, very homey, responsive host. It was great having the little kitchen, they had dishes, coffee maker, etc so we could make dinner at home. Definitely recommend!

  • This was my second time staying at Galen’s place, and I hope it’s not the last! Just as during my first stay, everything was lovely.

    Emily2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Galen’s apartment was a thoughtfully stocked with breakfast foods, as well as many toiletries. The artwork made the space a nice prelude to visiting MassMOCA.

This lovely cottage sits on 17 acres featuring gardens, fruit groves, forest, and the Hoosic River. Spectacular views of Mt Greylock. Truly an idyllic location, the perfect retreat for a lover of the outdoors but also close to cultural offerings. Less than 10 minutes to downtown North Adams and Mass MOCA. Williamstown and the Clark Art Institute are nearby as well. Plenty of long or short hikes, scenic walks and bike rides as well as local restaurants and shops that are easily accessible.
On one of the most scenic properties in the area. This is a rustic, no frills retreat, however WiFi has been upgraded to high speed for 2019! The setting is ideal for those looking to explore the Berkshire towns and mountains. Close to nature and cultural experiences. The cottage is an open floor plan with a queen sized mattress and full size futon. Enough space for 2, can sleep maximum 4 adults. Build a cozy campfire in the evening, take in beautiful sunrises and sunsets, walk through the forest on the property to the Hoosic river, take a short bike ride (2 bicycles included) to the pond at Clarksburg state forest. Be sure to read the photo captions for detailed descriptions.
Private rural community on country road. Great for scenic walks or bike rides. Enjoy the North Branch of the Hoosic River.
  • Charming cabin retreat in a rolling meadow with fantastic views to the mountains. Great porch with outside fireplace. Ethan and Debora were ideal hosts. Everything spotlessly clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches. Very close to MassMoCA still far enough from the hustle to experience the natural magic of the Berkshires. We would definitely go back!

    David2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • That is a cottage with a spectacular view! Especially in fall! The cottage is really clean, well furnished and the communication is really easy withe ethan and Debora.

    Karine2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy, no-frills cabin on a family property with breathtaking views of Mount Greylock. Wake up early to watch the sunlight slowly stretch across the peak! Because of the location, some of nature's critters may find their way indoors. We enjoyed our ladybug roommates, but the wasps...not so much. Even though the cabin is small, it has everything you need and is thoughtfully stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ethan and Debora!

    Alecia2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place is lovely. We enjoyed the fireplace tremendously and put the kitchen to good use. The giant window views made every morning and evening special. It was overall super cozy. We plan to come back. The area is beautiful and we did some great hiking. Went to Mass MOCA one day which was incredible. We used the nearby excellent (but pricey) organic grocery called Wild Oats, which was great for us. We didn’t meet or hear or see any signs of the hosts, which was fine — we were there for the quiet after all!

    Kristen2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy rustic cabin with gorgeous views of Mt. Greylock.

    Priti2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • This idyllic cabin overlooking the mountains is as beautiful and simple a get-away as we could hope for... that's why we keep coming back! Highly recommend!

This is a private room, shared bath, with double futon bed plus memory foam mattress topper, in my charming home on a quiet street at the base of Pine Cobble in Williamstown, Mass. 25-min walk to downtown area with shops, eating establishments. Close to local museums, hiking trails, colleges. I do not offer breakfast, but have granola bars and juice in your room, (coffee, tea in dining room), and sometimes make muffins on the weekend which you would be welcome to share. Parking in my driveway.
My home sits on the slope of a hill surrounded on two sides by trees, with a bit of wooded area in the back. We are in northern Berkshire county, on a very quiet street away from the center of town. Near Sterling & Francine Clark Art Museum, Williams College and Museum, Williamstown Theatre Festival, MCLA, MASS MoCA. There's a great local food co-op (Wild Oats Market), lots of hiking trails (including Mt Greylock), theater in the summers . . . it's generally a beautiful area. Directly up my street, a few minutes walk from my home, is the entrance to the Pine Cobble hiking trail. You would rent the sitting room / spare bedroom at the front of the house, which has a double futon bed with a memory-foam mattress topper. Your bedroom has direct access to the shared bathroom. (There is a separate entrance to the bathroom from the front hall.) It is a cozy sort of room with 2 windows, but somewhat spacious, with a large bookshelf full of books that you are welcome to read during your stay. In the summer months, I put a window fan in the back window of your room for some cool air during the warmer times.
The house is on a dead-end and very quiet road, with only 4 houses on the street, and so traffic is minimal. In nice weather, the enclosed front porch is a very pleasant place to relax; in winter, there is plenty of room there for storage of skis. My driveway is small, but will fit 2 cars side by side and another car behind mine. You would probably be parking beside my car on the right side of the driveway. (My roommate will probably park behind my car on the left side.) We have a local railway nearby, which is not a passenger rail. It passes close enough to my house to make some noise, so you may hear (unless you are used to it, as I am) the train passing in the evening on its regular schedule.
  • the home is a traditional new england house with everything you need, amenities, kitchen, goodies, ease of access, close to highways, near many cultural and natural venues. you feel like you are at your own home, and it is our highest recommendation.

The downstairs room has its own entrance, large private bath and laundry, and a small porch on the back. Top-floor, penthouse unit in the historic 1854 Flatiron building. Recently renovated. It's a really cool place to stay... Lot's of privacy... Walk to MCLA, MassMOCA, restaurants, gym, movie theater, grocery stores and many other area attractions
It's the top-floor of one of the oldest flatiron buildings in the United States. In addition, it's the most unique unit within the building. The Unit starts right at the point of where the Flatiron begins! Note: The Unit is located in the downtown area of North Adams. It's a Flatiron (triangular building). There is a street on each side of the Flatiron. It's located among shops and restaurants, etc. At times, it can be a little noisy. With a queen-size bed, a futon couch bed and a fold-up twin bed available upon request, the Unit can sleep up to 4 people. However, for the purpose of comfort, we strongly recommend no more than 2 individuals. History Existing flatiron buildings in the United States date back to the 1800s with the first built in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The most popular buildings today are the Gooderham Building, built in Toronto in 1892; the English-American building in Atlanta, built in 1897; and the most famous, the Fuller Building of Manhattan, built in 1902. San Francisco, Fort Worth, Chicago and Portland, Oregon, also have fine examples of flatiron architecture. These buildings have been designated as historic landmarks. Function Flatiron buildings serve two goals: They employ efficient use of otherwise unused space for residential and/or commercial purposes and give business districts a specific architectural identity. Identification Surviving flatiron buildings are found on wedge-shaped lots usually in the center of a city's business district or older neighborhoods and offer examples of classic 19th-century style. Fun Fact Manhattan's Fuller Building is a popular venue for movies, including the comic-book Spiderman series, which used the flatiron as headquarters for the fictional "Daily Bugle" newspaper offices.
There are numerous art galleries, restaurants, churches, a gym, a movie theater, MCLA, Mass Moca, a grocery store, drug stores, parks, a post office all within walking distance. The views of the mountains and all of the history surrounding North Adams makes it a wonderful place to live at and visit!
  • Great location! This cute place was perfect for our overnight trip to North Adams. Jonas and George were fantastic hosts too!

  • Great space and great location. Apartment was perfect for a night or two at a fair price and without a ridiculous cleaning fee.

    Eric2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy apartment with lots of character in an ideal location for enjoying North Adams and the surrounding region. Hosts could not have been kinder.

    Mike2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • George and Jonas’s place was wonderful! The location was perfect - a short walk to Mass Moca and other great spots in North Adams. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and cozy. The only potential downside is the noise factor - because the building is old, the walls are paper thin and you can easily hear street noise and the neighbors’ conversations. We didn’t mind this, but those who are light sleepers may have an issue. But overall a great stay. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others!

    Hayley2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely and bright little apartment located minutes walk from the museum.

This is a private room with a comfortable full size bed and a full bathroom. Entirely separate from the rest of the house, the guest area has its own entrance door. Quiet and peaceful at night, a good starting point for visiting the museums of the area or going hiking -- the Appalachian Trail is right nearby. Works great if what you need is a bed and a bathroom in a safe and clean, entirely private little guest suite.

The place is set up with a microwave, a coffee maker and a mini fridge, but there is no access to an actual kitchen or a living room. There is reliable WiFi and you can plug in your own devices, but there is no TV. Also we provide a window fan but there is no air conditioning. Please contact me with any questions, i am very happy to answer.
In-between Williamstown and North Adams, in a natural area. The house is in a quiet little street, right by a stream. From the front porch you get a view on the mountains.
  • The room at Dori’s place was even better than expected! The room has a private entrance and attached bathroom, so it is very private. The tea kettle and tea was a very welcome touch! Only 7 minutes from Mass MoCA! Thanks so much!

  • Chad has thought of every detail. From the welcome note to the personalized cookies and luxury bath products, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully appointed. Everything was there to cook a meal in the full kitchen, or if you wanted to go out, there were several pamphlets outlining the area. We were a short drive to Mt. Snow for skiing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and plenty of space to feel like we were not right on top of the couple that traveled with us. We loved waking up to the sound of the brook in the morning and sitting on the upstairs patio enjoying our coffee. The Lovesac bean bags were such a treat for reading a book and relaxing. Only giving 5 stars because 6 isn't an option. If you are looking for a quiet, serene getaway, this is it. We hope to visit many more times in the future.

  • Everything about our stay was great. finding the cabin was easier than expected, and as soon as we walked in we where amazed by the amount of detail that every corner of the cabin is decorated with. The kitchen is equiped with everything that you need to cook simple meals, the entire space is super clean, beds are spacious and comfortable, We loved the tv room and the views from the living room. If you get lucky, the perfect location for stargazing. Communication with the hosts was fast and easy, we would definitely stay here again if we ever have the chance.

    Julian2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • There are not enough stars to rate how perfect the place and our experience there was! The property is gorgeous, cozy, and it exceeded our expectations for comfort. Our hosts are thorough in their explanations, their expectations for our stay, and the best ways to spend time around town. Location-wise we were also quite pleased, the accessible options for sightseeing and for entertainment were quite close. Everything was convenient. We went for a quiet time away and that is exactly what we got. We woke up to falling snow, which was pristine and accumulated throughout the property adding to the appeal of the scenery. The driveway and paths were safe, neatly shoveled, and so well cared for. We imagined that this place is just as stunning in the summer or fall. Small personalized touches around the home welcoming us set the tone right away. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and lounging around the home. There are warm blankets, amazing giant fluffy seats in the loft area that are unexpectedly comfortable. The whole place is delightful. The decor is warm and elegant throughout. Chad communicated all the necessary instructions from the start. We asked him a follow-up question and he answered quickly. Our phone signal wasn't great there but the Wifi more than made up for it. We didn't watch any TV but that is also available if you want as well as board games and books. In short, we can't wait to go back. Thank you for making your lovely home available to us.

    Steve2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was exceptional! Lovely setting, cozy, well appointed, and quiet. The perfect place to relax for the weekend. Our hosts could not be have been more accommodating. Thank you 🙏

  • Chad’s Place is perfect for a getaway to a winter wonderland! The cabin is truly amazing and completely exceeded our expectations. Perfect place to relax and unwind, enjoy beautiful views and sounds of the nature. Host is superb! Can’t wait to be back!

    Julia2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and stylish cabin in the woods! Has everything you could ever need or want! Quiet and private, while being close to North Adams for fine dining and the enormous Mass MoCA Art museum! Loved the smart lock & WiFi valet (so clever/helpful)! Enormous Love sac beanbag [type] chairs are super fun and wicked comfortable! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed! Our favorite AirBnB to date! Thanks so much Chad & David!

    Maribe2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We read all of the excellent reviews of this place but still found it exceeded our expectations. As a family of four, with two young teens, the space was accommodating and a great fit. So cozy and comfortable -- we loved the loft with the bean bag sacs -- the kids couldn't get enough of them and spent the first full evening lounging and reading aloud to each other. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed walking along the brook in the snow. We were a little nervous when we learned that a snow storm was scheduled to come through, but Chad put us at ease with instructions about the snow plow and scheduled an extra plowing of the private road. The kids asked repeatedly to come back in summer or fall. A very relaxing stay and well situated to visit Williamstown and North Adams.

My sunny, comfortable guest apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a Victorian house in the Cady Hill Historic District, one of the oldest neighborhoods in North Adams. It has a private entrance. Off-street parking is available for one vehicle. Free, wifi/wireless access is included. The apartment is quiet and modern. There is a small sitting room off of the entry hall that that is perfect for two. The full kitchen has new appliances (range/oven; refrigerator; microwave), a tea kettle and coffee maker, a table and chairs, and cupboards stocked with essentials for light cooking (dishes, flatware, etc.). The bedroom has a queen bed, a bookcase and easy chair. There is a full bath with a tub and shower next to the bedroom. I provide sheets, blankets, bath towels and kitchen towels. The house is close to MASS MoCA (ten minute walk), MCLA (five minute walk), and just a few blocks away from downtown coffee shops and restaurants. Natural Bridge State Park and Windsor Lake are a five minute drive away. Williams College, Clark Art Institute, WCMA and the Williamstown Theatre Festival are accessible by car (fifteen minutes).
  • Diane's apartment is quaint, spacious, and clean. She was very hospitable and the apartment contained thoughtful touches like an array of tea, books, and card games. The location is very close to downtown North Adams (less than 5 mins to Mass MoCA) and she provides a list of places to eat/drink/visit that helps tremendously when first visiting the area. We had a wonderful 2 night stay and will likely stay here if we visit the area again!

    Darby2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Our visit to Diane’s place was outstanding. The space is beautiful, views of the Berkshires from each window! There was plenty of space and many feel-good touches like great books, miniature animal decorations and fresh spring water in the fridge. We loved our stay, and we will be back!

This two-level house is at a five minutes drive (2.4 miles) from MassMoCA. The downstairs apartment offers a comfortable stay for up to four guests, with a queen and a full size bed. Entirely private place equipped with a full kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a bedroom and a cozy living room. A good starting point for visiting Williamstown and North Adams, or for going hiking. You can conveniently check yourself in and feel at home, but I live nearby and can be contacted with any questions.
The queen size bed is in a nicely set up bedroom. The kitchen is spacious and sun-filled, with a large dining table, a gas stove, a small fridge and a number of ways to prepare tea or coffee. In the living room you will find a shelf with brochures, maps and other local information, and some cozy armchairs. The other end of the living room has the full size bed. If you pull in the curtains it can be converted into a second little bedroom.
The house has a lovely historic character, right across from the red brick building of the Berkshire Mill -- one of the reinvented old factory buildings of our area. The backyard reaches the bank of the Hoosic River. On the other side of State Road you can see the mountains, and a number of hiking trails are right nearby: you can access the Appalachian Trail, the Cascades Trail, or head off towards Mount Greylock.

A renovated barn style guesthouse with three guest rooms on the second story, a shared bath and full kitchen -adjacent to the Green Mountain National Forest. This bunk room, our wee one, is perfect for quiet rest and reading under the cute book lights we include in every room. If you're traveling with lots of gear, you might be more comfortable in the Low room or the Merrill, which are a bit more roomy. A cozy, rustic, modern bunkhouse, the guesthouse is outfitted with simple cotton bedding, a full set of tableware handmade in the studio below and enough cookware and kitchen supplies to serve you and your guests for the weekend or longer. Bard owls call to each other at dusk. The available space includes three bedrooms, a shared kitchen (between guests), a shared bath (between guests). Please note that there is not a living room in the bunkhouse; the kitchen and dining area are one space and serve as the common area of the bunkhouse. There are two entrances in the kitchen area for other private dwellings: Our full-time tenant enters through one to his self-contained apartment, but does not share/use the guest house shared kitchen or bath. The second is a private use family room. One bathroom in the guest house serves both guests and visiting artists working in the studio. Don’t be surprised if you see an unfamiliar face on their way to use the facilities. All bedrooms are dedicated visiting guest spaces and have lock and key. *Please note there is no smoking on the property. Sorry, although three dogs live on the property, no visiting pets are allowed. Ask me about private pottery classes. They require scheduling separate from your Airbnb reservation, so please inquire ahead of your visit. I'd love to teach you how to make pottery!

Good restaurants in the area.Everything from local breakfast place called Linda's to upscale dining at Mezze in Williamstown. Great new local bar, the HiLo has live music every night.
  • This apartment was clean, tidy, and had a cute atmosphere! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our trip to Mount Snow. It was only a 30 minute drive to the mountain, so a great option for us. Carolyn was kind and helpful and gave us a great recommendation for where to go for dinner! We will definitely be returning.

  • This property is in a great location. We were able to explore several places in Vermont and the Berkshires. Caroline was helpful, and very kind. Her property is beautiful and we enjoyed looking at the brook and farm animals. The loft is pretty basic, but Caroline quickly provided anything else we needed (extra utensils, dishes, etc.). Her dog is very sweet and got along great with our pup as well.

Cozy Vermont mini-house Convenient to the Clark Art Institute, Mass MoCA, & Bennington, VT Due to Vermont's COVID-19 State of Emergency Declaration we have suspended operations for the month of April, and cannot accept instant bookings. Please contact me to book. Also, out of state visitors are now required to self-quarantine for two weeks.
Owl Hill House is an organically shaped structure built by a group of sculptors in the early 1980’s and recently renovated by one of its original creators. Its 570 square feet interior is bright, airy and cozy with hand-plastered, sculptural, white walls and custom built-in furniture. It is set in a tranquil clearing surrounded by beautiful trees on a private Vermont dirt road, and is the perfect base for exploring northern Berkshire County’s cultural gems and southern Vermont’s picturesque towns and natural beauty, or to just relax and leave the rectilinear world behind. Location The house is in Pownal, VT and is convenient to The Clark and Williams College (10 minutes), Mass MoCA (20 minutes), and Bennington, VT (10 minutes). The Space There is a main space with a seating area, a sleeping nook with a queen-sized bed, and a kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and a custom-made bench. A small utility room has a washer/dryer. There is high-speed Wi-Fi. The exterior landscaping is still in progress. Owl Hill Road The house is 0.1 miles up a dirt road shared with 4 houses. The road is regularly maintained but can have a few rough spots. In the warm months, it’s fine for any vehicle. In the winter and early spring good snow tires are highly recommended, and All Wheel Drive or 4-Wheel Drive are optimal. After a snowstorm, or in icy conditions, you may have to leave your vehicle at the bottom of the hill and walk up – it's a 4-5 minute walk. Winter in Vermont can often be an adventure! ***** Sorry, no pets. No smoking ***** --------------------------------------------- COFFEE: The house has a coffee grinder, and a French Press. We do not supply coffee beans or tea. --------------------------------------------- PANTRY: We stock the house with salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, flour and sugar.
  • This place was so great. We expected a wizard or a group of dwarves to knock on the door at any moment to invite us on a quest to destroy the One Ring. In the meantime, we made tea, cozied up by the fire and enjoyed the quiet. Will stay here again!

Every part of the mushroom house, down to the nice mugs in the kitchen, seems to have been carefully considered. The only negative thing about our stay at the mushroom house was having to leave :). • Cozy and tucked away, but 10 minutes from major gas station/convenience store and 15 from a few great restaurants/markets/coffee shops. The space felt much bigger than its 570 square feet, we even considered entertaining two friends while we were in town. Stocked with some books and games and basics for cooking and cleaning if necessary. Bed is large enough and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with Cuisinart and Le Creuset products, gas stovetop and large sink. The bathroom is spacious and stocked with all necessary basics. Small propane stove kept the place way warmer than you’d expect. Parking for two out front (at least in the winter months). The single best Airbnb stay we’ve had. Weird and beautiful but not gimmicky at all. Mark has thought of everything.

I live a half mile from Mass MOCA. Easy walking distance to downtown area and restaurants. I have a spare bedroom not in use and it's set up for guests. Great for an overnight stay for a Moca event. Camping in yard also available. I do have 3 dogs. Very friendly. Dogs allowed under right circumstances. Shared large bathroom upstairs. Small bathroom downstairs with washer/dryer if needed.
Quiet neighborhood. Off street parking. Half mile down hill walk to downtown.
MASS MOCA. Close to williamstown theater festival. Short drive to mount greylock. Short drive to local ski resorts...Mount snow/Jiminy Peak/Berkshire East.
  • Clean, quiet and close to MASS MOCA. She knows a lot about area😊

  • Pamela's place was wonderful, amazingly convenient for downtown North Adams and the surrounding areas, and she was a great host! Would absolutely stay here again.

  • Very pleasant stay, nice dogs.

    Robert2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela was accommodating with my arrival time and easy to communicate with. Bed was comfy and her place worked well for my needs. Meeting her three doggos was a big bonus!

    Jerrod2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela is super nice and her three Boxers are super sweet! MASS MoCA is right down the street so this is a very convenient location in this nostalgic, old mill town. And you can't beat the price!

    Bruce2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela's house really feels like a home. Her three dogs are full of love and they have much of that love to give. Each one has their own unique personality and quirks. They are happy to greet you, show you around their home, and make you feel like a member of the house. Let's not forget the star of the show. Pamela was a spectacular host herself! She was super thoughtful and really makes an attempt to make sure you feel at home and are comfortable. She was able to provide me with a lot of useful information about the area, gave me walking directions (which MANY things here are in walking distance), and just made sure my experience was top notch. I would recommend anyone to stay with her. This ideal location (especially to MASS MoCA) would fulfill the needs of anyone traveling to North Adams.

Drift off to the sound a a babbling brook outside the bay window in this cozy country cottage. Take a hike in a protected forest right outside your door or head to downtown Williamstown and North Adams for amazing museums, theaters, dance, music, and restaurants.
There is a parking space at the end of the driveway near the cottage marked by a red wagon. A stone path leads to the cottage from the space. Please don't park on the lawn near the cottage as that could damage the septic tank. The cottage is best for a maximum of two adults or two adults and one child. There is a queen bed on the first floor and bathroom with small stall shower. There is a loft (open to the downstairs) accessible by ladder/stair with a twin bed in it. The loft is not suitable for young children and because of the size of the cottage and the configuration of the ladder, the space is too small for three adults, especially for multiple nights. The loft is not a separate room so the space is not conducive to travelers who want privacy from those they are traveling with. There is no freezer. If you need ice, please let us know and we are happy to provide it. We provide mugs, coffee, tea, and sugar but you will need to BYO milk or cream if you want it. We ask you not to smoke in the house or anywhere on the property. We supply shampoo and conditioner and there is a blow dryer in the top of the closet. There are window coverings for privacy but no room darkening shades and two large windows are uncovered. If you need a dark space for sleeping, we recommend you bring an eye mask. We leave the cottage unlocked. There is a key hanging on the hook near the door if you feel the need to lock when you go out. If you do use the key please make sure to leave it. There is a $100 charge for a missing key.
Our neighborhood feels like the country but you are only about 1.5 miles from downtown Williamstown. Our property backs up to the Mountain Meadow, a Trustees of the Reservations property.
  • The sweet brookside cottage is a lovely experience if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. Lots of great hiking without having to drive! We plan on returning many more times.

  • The Brookside Cottage is more cozy and charming in person and well worth a visit! Convenient location to explore North Adams and the surrounding area. All the amenities you need. Self-sufficient check in/check out. Katherine provided a well thought out range of local suggestions, which was much appreciated. We went to two of them--Chef's Hat and a hipster American food place that I can't remember the name of. Both were great!

    Liz2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Katherine's cabin was so charming -- just what we wanted for a weekend getaway! Very warm in the winter snow with such a beautiful view and nice trails behind, even in the winter. would stay here again!

Our place is close to dining, family-friendly activities, public transport, local museums (Mass MoCA, Williams College Museum of Art, Clark Art Institute), Mass College of Liberal Arts, local pubs and performance venues. You’ll love our place because of its walking distance to downtown and quiet neighborhood with park setting. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We are also a 10 minute car ride from the Ashuwilticook Rail Trail.
The space has a private entrance on a small deck at the LEFT REAR of the property. Deck has chairs and umbrella for relaxing. Inside the room, you'll find a Queen bed in one alcove and a Double in another. A private bath completes the space. Great neighborhood for walking. We have added a microwave and small refrigerator to the room for your convenience.
Our neighborhood is quiet and scenic. There is open space across from our house that is owned by a neighbor but adds a park-like feel to the street. You can walk downtown in 5-10 minutes depending where you need to go.
  • Lois' space is great! The location is awesome and the space is super clean and thoughtfully curated. We loved our stay!

    Maghan2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great space in a charming, quiet neighborhood only a short ways away from Mass Moca. Had the weather been warmer it would’ve been easily walkable. The room had plenty of amenities for a comfortable stay and lots of information to explore the surrounding area. The directions for parking and entry were clear and concise. Definitely recommend for a weekend trip to North Adams.

  • Dell & Susan's was such a cosy home for a few days! They (& their pets) made us feel so welcome and we had a lovely stay :)

    Mariko2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Dell & Susan's was such a wonderful place to stay. A beautiful place, cozy suite, and convenient location! The alpacas were so much fun to visit with before we set out for the day. Thank you Dell & Susan!

    Ria2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Dell and Susan are very kind people, and their place is clean and neat with nice touches (such as the alpaca fur figure in the living room). The animals (alpacas and dogs) on the property are such a pleasure to interact or watch, and the location is in close driving proximity to town centers of Williamstown (2-5 minutes) and/or North Adams (10-15 minutes). The alpaca fiber products (scarf, gloves, socks, gloves...etc) sold at their store are made of great quality too. If I will be in the area, I will definitely stay here again!

    Louis2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly what I wanted! The perfect private getaway central to town. 11/10 would recommend again.

    Glory2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Dell and Susan made it easy to check in and out, and the suite is very private and fully accommodating with great touches like a thermostat, charging cables, and a mini fridge/microwave. The setting is incomparable and of course the alpacas are friendly and sof. Highly recommended!

  • We stayed at Carolyn & Ben's with our 3-year-old and 6-month-old for a weekend trip to North Adams. They were wonderful hosts and always very quick to respond to our many questions. The space was cozy and quiet and the griddle and pancake fixin's were a big hit! Great stay!

  • Great location in downtown. Carolyn and Ben were welcoming and their dog was a sweetie. The apartment is quite spacious and has a lovely feel.

    Christine2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Carolyn and Ben's place was great. It's charming and very spacious, with a great location for anyone wanting to explore North Adams and The Berkshires. My wife and I were visiting MassMOCA and would have been able to walk there from Carolyn and Ben's if it weren't raining. They are great hosts, made check in and check out a cinch, and shared a great local breakfast suggestion to boot (Renee's, if you're curious). We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.

    Luke2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying at Carolyn and Ben's place! The thoughtful touches throughout the space and the tasteful decoration really made our stay special. We'd absolutely stay here again!

  • John’s place in North Adams was the perfect spot for me. It’s spacious and has everything I needed. I work remotely, so the separate office was ideal. I also like to cook, and big kitchen was not lacking. The location is excellent, just a couple minutes from everything you’d need. The street is very quiet and the neighborhood is safe. I was there for over a month so I got to know the neighbors, and they are super nice. John was very accommodating and made sure I had everything I needed and was also very easy to get in touch with. Definitely recommend staying here!

    Andy2019-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • John’s house was perfect for our trip! Perfect location for seeing Mass MOCA and downtown North Adams (we didn’t even touch the car once we arrived). And nice and clean and plenty of amenities to keep us from having to run out for extras. Will definitely be back!

    Steve2019-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a dream, and you couldn't ask for a better host in John.

    Josh2019-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • This place and its hosts have been amazing. So much so, I’ve extended my stay. It’s such a wonderful little retreat, within walking distance of town, but removed enough that it’s quiet and peaceful. I can not recommend it enough!!

    Josh2019-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • John has, hands down, been the best AirBnB host I've ever had. He is incredibly thoughtful and communicative, without being overbearing. He has gone above and beyond to make sure my visit was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The flat is wonderful, especially for those looking to get work done. It's a great walk into town, with phenomenal views. It's a place that immediately feels like home. I will continue to stay here each time I return to North Adams.

    Josh2019-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful, clean place, and very comfortable for two people. We came for a weekend getaway but it would also work well for a professional needing to do work in the area, as there's a dedicated office. The house and the street it's on are calm and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the apartment overall had everything we needed for a 3-day stay. This was a good home base for exploring Vermont and Western Mass. John was a helpful host and quick with great restaurant recommendations (go to Bright Ideas Brewery and order BBQ from across the street!).

Newly purchased...ready for guests! The perfect alternative to a hotel room, this is a completely renovated studio apartment in N. Adam's historic flat iron building. You are a short walk from Mass MOCA, shops, restaurants, movie theater, grocery store and many other local attractions. High ceilings and double windows make this 250 sq. foot studio light and pleasant, and a murphy bed makes great use of the space. Sleeps 2 people comfortably (full size bed). There is a small pull out sofa.
The space is compact at 250 square feet, but it has everything you need for a weekend, week (or longer!) exploring North Adams. There is a 3/4 bathroom with a tiled shower. Compact, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make breakfast (including coffee maker, toaster and microwave) or a light meal. Full size murphy bed. Drawers and space to hang your clothes all built into the murphy bed. Small old school television with a fun DVD collection (and a Red Box a two minute walk away). WiFi, so guests are welcome to bring their laptops to stream your favorite TV etc.
We love North Adams and the flat iron building couldn't be more centrally located to explore all the town has to offer!
  • Katie and Jose's place was perfect for our trip. Everything we wanted to do in the town was walking distance away! The studio was beautiful and cozy.

    Wenmar2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Katie & José's North Adam's space was delightful! The apartment was beautifully decorated and felt spacious and inviting. It was the perfect choice for my friends and I for our weekend getaway. The location was very convenient- we could walk to both restaurants to eat out at and the grocery store to pick up food to eat in.

  • This Airbnb is amazing! If you’re looking to visit Mass MoCA/Williamstown, book this spot now!! It’s a charming, cozy, sun-lit apartment in the “Flatiron” building right in the center of downtown North Adams. You can see Mass MoCA (and the beautiful Berkshire mountains!) from the apartment’s giant windows. Katie and José have a seamless check-in process. In addition, they provided a thoughtful guide to delicious restaurants and fun activities in the area, which we relied upon greatly. If I’m ever at Mass MoCA in the future, I would be thrilled to stay here again. Cannot recommend enough!

  • Beautiful small cabin with nice views, amazing host who was always available if anything was to be needed. The place was SPOTLESS, I'm talking not even a hair anywhere to be seen. Perfect spot for a getaway into the woods of western mass, privacy and quiet surroundings. I will stay again if I am in the area again. Thanks so much Harold!

  • Staying at "the camp" was a fantastic experience! Everything was clean and well maintained. The pictures do not do it justice. Harold and Diane were very easy to reach in the case of questions and left a list of recommendations in the local area. There is very little to no cell service so it was great to disconnect, however there is WiFi. The full kitchen was so convenient to make a meal in without having to leave the cabin to travel to get dinner. We can't wait to come back in the fall!

Freshly renovated 2 bedroom apartment, walking distance to downtown and MASS MoCA. This bright spacious apartment is quiet and comfortable. Great for one, two or even three couples. Perfect for a family with kids. The kitchen has undergone a recent renovation, upgrading the oven and cook-top. If you like cooking in, it will more than suit your needs! Great for a weekend or week long stay.
This apartment is ground floor apartment in a five unit house. It has a private entrance (both front and back). The other units are occupied with permanent tenants, please be respectful. The apartment comes with one parking space, but there are more spots available down the hill at our residence. Be in touch if you need more than one parking spot.
The apartment is just up the hill from the public library and a stone's throw to Main Street. It's an 8 minute walk to MASS MoCA and a variety of great dining options.
  • We had a great time at Ben's place. Ben was easy to communicate with and very responsive with answers to our questions and tips on what to do in the area. The place was very clean and had everything that we needed. Highly recommend!

  • Ben and Carolyn’s place is even better than what’s shown in pictures. It is spacious, clean, full of creative energy and thoughtful touches. For example, there are extra shelfing spaces for each room which is convenient for putting down phones, cups, books, etc. The kitchen supply and equipment are complete and stylish. Ben lives down the road and is super responsive to all issues and matter. Highly recommend this place!

    Yina2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place was huge and so cozy! It was super clean and welcoming and check-in was seamless. The kitchen was beautiful and spacious, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was very convenient and we were able to easily walk around town with no car. There were also some beautiful views from the back porch. I highly recommend staying here!

  • The apartment is large and charming. It’s a quiet, peaceful space, but it’s less than a 10 minute walk from Mass MoCA and nearby bars and restaurants. Carolyn and Ben were very responsive and helpful. I would recommend staying here!

  • Wonderful location and spacious apartment, with a full kitchen. Ben responded very promptly when we texted with questions. I'll recommend this location to my friends.

  • Ben & Carolyn were terrific hosts. The apartment was very clean, included nice touches (flowers & a bottle of wine) and very spacious. Lots of nice extras like coffee, teas, a Brita water filter, plenty of towels and extra soaps and other toiletries, and the bed was very comfy! We would definitely come back! Thanks for the great experience!

You will love being tucked away in this bright spacious home! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a gorgeous outdoor kitchen, large yard, front and back porches for sitting, off street parking for 2 cars and....Only 4/10 mile to Mass MoCA! Come home after a fun filled day and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire!
This is a two family home, with tenants occupying the first floor, that being said there are stairs to climb this is the second floor apartment. There is a separate entrance with the only shared space being the lower front porch. My tenants will treat you with the same respect as they do me while you are a guest here. The space has 2 bedrooms both with queen size beds and large closets for your belongings, one full bathroom with tub, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. There are two covered porches, one at the back of the house and one on the front (balcony) for sitting if you'd like. Also available for your use is the outdoor kitchen equipped with grill, refrigerator and fire pit.
Walking distance to beautiful downtown North Adams, outdoor Farmer's Market, Heritage State Park, restaurants and more! Only a short drive to Mount Greylock, the highest point in Massachusetts. Access to many hiking trails, including the Appalachian Trail, Natural Bridge State Park and Cascade Falls. Ten minute drive to Williams College, Clark Art Institute and Williamstown Theater Festival.
  • We had a great time and would definitely recommend this location to anyone traveling to the Western Massachusetts area. The hosts were awesome and left helpful tips for local restaurants and activities. They also left snacks around! The house was beautiful and spacious and the yard was so pretty (especially with the snow)! It's just minutes from Mass MoCA and lunch places. We had a wonderful stay 🙂

  • This was one of the best airbnb experiences my friend and I have had. The place was so comfortable and well situated. The place was filled with amenities and thoughtful touches such as slippers, snacks, coffee, etc. Brent was very responsive and went out of his way to so we had access to local museums and even set up the fire pit for us. The next time I am in the area I hope to stay there again.

    Karen2019-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Brent was responsive, helpful, and has an incredible place! So close to Mass MOCA and all the local restaurants, a really short drive to Williams, really spacious and well decorated but also quiet. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

    Meryl2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location, beautiful property, great host. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen, snacks available, and the Mass MoCA passes were a great money saver. Loved our stay!

  • A spotlessly clean and comfortable home walking distance to MassMOCA.

  • Perfect place to stay to visit mass moca. Very comfy and beautiful location walking distance to the museum.

    Lucía2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Brent's place is ideal for a visit to Mass Moca and the area, and we've stayed in several over the years. It's an eight minute walk from downtown, a large bright two bedroom with lots of character, personal touches, and everything you would need for cooking. The furniture and bedding is nearly new...and not Ikea! It also has two porches and a huge yard for lounging. Brent always got back to us promptly and gave us some great tips for things to do. It's a five star apartment!

Newly designer-remodeled Berkshires retreat for family gatherings or cultural exploration.
Large Victorian house within walking distance to MassMoCA and downtown North Adams. Sleeps eight comfortably with two bathrooms and laundry facilities on-site. Fully stocked cooks' kitchen and large grassy yard with parking for 5-7 tandem. Several outdoor spaces for relaxing in this beautiful Berkshires setting. The House - Decorated in an industrial Victorian style befitting the location, the Zoo features three formal bedrooms, a private sleeping library and two bathrooms. A screened three season porch and two additional outdoor porches allow for enjoyment of the yard and local creatures. Perfect for family reunions, group getaways and smaller retreats, the house is setup for small groups with plenty of dining chairs and extra tables for holiday dinners. The Neighborhood - Brooklyn Zoo is located in a quiet neighborhood a six minute walk from MassMOCA and downtown. Surrounded by many long-time neighbors, we expect guests to be quiet and respectful as well. North Adams is close to great local ski areas and is ten minutes from both Vermont and New York state. The Appalachian Trail runs through town and the surrounding area is filled with natural beauty and sights.
The neighborhood is a short walk to MassMoCA and downtown. Like much of North Adams, the neighborhood is mix of long-term residents and new neighbors and is characterized by varying socioeconomic classes. We consider it safe and in transition. Decorated in a quirky Victorian style with plenty of family-made art throughout. With a focus on upcycling and salvage sourcing, the home is filled with unique local finds and objects. There's plenty of space for all your friends or family to celebrate or enjoy a long weekend. With a very well-stocked kitchen, the family table will be a place to make new memories. The house is named "The Brooklyn Zoo" because of its location on Brooklyn Street and the animal motif artwork throughout the space.
  • Extremely stylish, bright, and spacious house within easy walking distance of Mass MoCA and most restaurants. Great, well-stocked kitchen and wonderfully unique & eclectic decor (the clawfoot tub was also a big hit). We loved it.

  • Great, accommodating and flexible space. We enjoyed it in the winter with the whole extended family. It’s a walk away from MassMOCA / N. Adams town center and a short drive to Williamstown. Kitchen was great—had everything we needed and a bit more to make it fun. Loved the record player/Bluetooth setup and the espresso machine was great. Would definitely consider going back.

    Peter2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Emily’s house was the perfect spot for two couples and an infant for a weekend getaway to the Berkshires. The space is as pictured, with a well equipped kitchen (so many ways to make coffee!) and very comfortable beds. Check in was easy and communication was excellent. We’d definitely stay here again!

    Lauren2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place to stay - we had 8 people, and everyone fit wonderfully.

    Caiti2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house was beautifully decorated and furnished, just as the pictures suggested, and it's clear that it was set up for real use, not just to look good in photographs. The kitchen, in particular, was quite well appointed. It was also a solid base for visiting the area. It's a 5-10 minute walk down a quiet street to Mass MoCA and the center of town.

  • Donna and Max were super helpful and communicative throughout our stay. They are right next door and responded to our questions quickly and cheerfully. The house itself is walking distance of Mass MoCA and restaurants as well as a supermarket, so it couldn't be more convenient. It was ample, clean, well equipped for cooking and warm. Definitely a great option for a weekend at the museum!

  • Donna was a great host! She was super responsive and always had great recommendations at the ready. The home was huge and the deal we got could not be beat. The location was also prime, we were in walking distance of Mass MoCA, one of my favorite museums. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Her house is spacious, extremely clean, and it has all the amenities that you need. I highly recommend Donna's house to Airbnb travelers!

The kitchen is spacious and sun-filled, with a large dining table, a gas stove, a small fridge and a number of ways to prepare tea or coffee. In the living room you will find a shelf with brochures, maps and other local information, and some cozy armchairs. The living room can be divided with a curtain, with a full size bed with in the other end. The queen size bed is in a private bedroom.
MassMoCA and downtown North Adams are at a five minute drive on State Road. Williamstown is also at a short drive in the other direction. It is also possible to take the bus. The Appalachian Trail is right nearby.
  • Great stay and great location. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

  • The apartment was amazing -- super cozy and comfortable, and definitely a great place to hole up for a night or for a longer period of time! I didn't get to meet Dori, but she was very communicative and kind via text. Thank you for a great stay!

    Sebastian2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Dori's space was perfect for visiting the Clark and MassMoCA museums, less than 10 minutes from each. Dori's communication was very good. I had the pleasure of meeting her and she was very kind and helpful. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The beds and chairs in the living room area were very comfortable. The bedding was warm for winter and shower pressure great and hot temperature. One thing I noticed is that there were electrical outlets everywhere in the apartment! I visited as only one guest but if you were a few guests staying together you would definitely have enough outlets for all your needs. I would recommend this Airbnb to my friends and family, and would be happy to stay again.

    Lisa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

Dori was responsive and quick to getting back to me - I booked this place the night before around 10pm so she is very on top of things.

    Melanie2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sweet home in sweet location. Grateful for the space!

    Gregory2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Dori’s place is superbly located between Mass Moca and Williamstown and even though a mildly busy street, from inside the apartment it was very quiet and there was no intrusion of traffic or noise. The apartment is simply but amply decorated and the spaces are large enough and varied enough that it’s quite comfortable for more than one person. Everything was clean, well tended and in order.
