Monthly Rentals in Runaway Bay Beach

We stay at Ms.Rhonas whenever visiting Jamaica. She is super friendly and kind and always responsive. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept and it is super peaceful. Always highly recommended! Thank you Ms. Rhona

This is a magical and beatiful little beach cottage with an incredible view, steps from the ocean, nestled in an enchanting walled garden / property that’s also very secure and safe. The staff is lovely and helpful and the daily prepared meals were sooooo good! There’s a kayak for sunset paddles and a driver that can take you to several near by excursions within a 90-minute drive, from waterfalls, river floats, Bob Marley’s birthplace, and a bioluminescent bay that’s straight out of a fairy tail. I would love to keep this hidden treasure to myself but it’s too good not to share and recommend. We stayed 7 days, felt like 2 weeks, and will definetly be coming back.

My flight was really delayed so I missed the check in time. Though I was extremely frustrated, I communicated everything with Kayann and she was very responsive and made arrangements for me to be able to check in when I arrived. I was surprised that it was as pictured. Very quiet residential area. Very modern decor and it is laid out very nicely. The unit is upstairs and there is no elevator but I didn’t find it to be an issue, just a little workout when toting luggage lol. The location is perfect! I did all of the major tourist attractions, as well as I visited a few local bars etc. Everything was within a 10-20 minute drive. Kayann also gave really good suggestions about things to do and places to visit. I was a little nervous about there not being any blankets because there are ac units in the place, but I didn’t need the ac as it was fairly cool during my stay. I did however give the recommended to Kayann, and she was open to my suggestion. Overall a great stay!

I've just left Unity and I already miss it. Matthew is probably the greatest airbnb host i've ever had: very communicative, super helpful with recommendations, courteous, kind and willing to go the extra mile. The house itself is GORGEOUS, only to be outdone by the beach, which is not a 4 min walk, but a 1 min walk, and where we spent most of the day. The house does indeed come fully staffed and the team is so lovely (shout out to Tasha and Leva - Leva is the chef, and her red snapper will have me coming back ASAP...). We look forward to coming back again soon, and when we do, we will once again take Matthew's rec and head to Scotchies one day for the jerk pork and festivals.
