Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Rovaniemi

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Very lovingly furnished AirBnB in a great location. Walking in about 10-15 minutes you are in the city center and yet the location of the accommodation is very quiet. The kitchen was super equipped and it was very cozy. There were cozy slippers, a fireplace, and a selection of games. The beds were very comfortable too. We had a great time and highly recommend the place. :)

We loved Kari's house when we entered. It was warm and everything necessary was available. The sauna was easy to use. Our daughter had her own sled mound and was constantly playing outside in the snow. It is very safe for children as you are absolutely private. One evening we even had an aurora explosion just above the property. It was magical. We stayed here for 9 days and had perfect weather The location is great for exploring the area around Rovaniemi. You are also quickly in the supermarket and in the city. Kari is a nice and helpful host. We will be happy to come back and recommend his cabin to anyone who does not want to stay directly in the city. Thank you Kari for letting us being your guests.

Pasi is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is typical and at the same time very pleasant with all the necessary comforts, the bedding is of good quality and there is everything you need in the house and nearby. We recommend and thank Pasi for our stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

Such a great home minutes from the center of Rovaniemi and on the river, clean and welcoming space, comfortable accommodations, responsive host, and everything you can ask for. Would highly recommend to visitors.

Thank you for a great stay with you! It was great! We stayed there for five days, could see aurora lights every night and had a lot of fun exploring the area. The accommodation is easily accessible by bus and thanks to some preparation we were able to cook and eat excellently in the well-equipped kitchen. An absolute highlight was also the lunch cooked by the residents, followed by bingo. We would like to say a big thank you. It was very cozy with you!

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Neat and cozy, the property is as shown in the pictures. No luxury, but a good option for a budget traveler. 2 adults and 4 small children could stay overnight. The TV didn't work and there were too few forks, but otherwise we were satisfied.

Loved the place, wonderful sauna, beautiful balcony. Owner was super responsive, attentive and communicative. Sofa bed is not the best for 2 adults but it's soft and comfy, we had children with us so they slept fine there. Will definitely look for this apartment next time i stay in Rovaniemi!

The location couldn’t be better- ski from the front door straight onto the XC groomed tracks. The place itself is cosy and comfortable- the renovated sauna was lovely, the bed super comfy and the view out the window to the snow was relaxing.

We loved our stay with Kati. She is quite polite and quick to respond. Everything was very clear. House itself is very comfortable and cozy. It was pristine clean and we got welcoming cookies and chocolate. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The only slight inconvenience is location if you are coming during holidays because buses don’t run every day and they are kinda rare. This was written on Katis profile so we knew what we are getting into. But everything else was perfect. Thank you Kati for hosting us, our time in Rovaniemi was excellent ☺️

We enjoyed our stay, and there was everything we could expect from a cabin experience. We loved the sauna and the chance to have a dip in the lake. There was almost everything we needed, except for the vine bottle opener, which the owner kindly offered to bring it to us almost straight away. Beautiful cabin by the lake we can definitely recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Otso Lodge in Lapland! The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking—truly a tranquil retreat. The weather was also fantastic this time of year, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some fantastic activities close to the lodge, including a thrilling husky safari and a visit to a local farm, both of which were unforgettable experiences. It was also incredibly peaceful to simply walk around the area and take in the stunning natural surroundings. Overall, Otso Lodge provided us with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lapland!

A very beautiful house in a very quiet and beautiful place, halfway between Rovaniemi and Kemi. The sauna and Kota are amazing and awesome. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. We were able to do nearby activities, snowshoe rides in Kätkävaara, sled dogs and snowmobile in Parpalandia, Finnish sauna in Kemi with swimming in the frozen Baltic Sea. It is also possible to see the auroras from the house. A great stay and a beautiful house in the middle of nature, quiet and serene. We had a wonderful time at Outi's place - the perfect Finnish countryside retreat!

This is such an unique place. The landscape, the jacuzzi, the sauna with a view, reindeers around the cottage and Northern lights right in front of the door. Everything was just perfect.

Beautiful cottage for family holidays. Very easy to access and at the same time alone in the forest. Beautiful walks directly on foot. We enjoyed the sauna and the northern lights visible from the garden if the weather is clear:)

Absolutely lovely cabin in a really quiet place near Rovaniemi! The cabin was the perfect getaway we needed and the beach was stunning when the sun was setting. Paula was an awesome host and she really took excellent care of us during our stay.
