We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Very please stay at the cottage. Beautiful surroundings and well preserved cottage and facilities. I missed some clear instructions/information in advance about some basics, such as the sauna (not the classic one), and the possibility to charge and electric car and its cost. Nevertheless, totally recommend accommodation if you want to explore Päjänne lake.

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

The environment is exactly as advertised. Peaceful, quiet and beautiful. A five-star bed and the rest of the cottage. Everything worked intuitively.

We love this house! The huge windows give you the feeling of being in the middle of nature. Nature becomes part of the building and essential design element, framed by architectural design at its best. Every view is a treat for the eye. Sensitive material selection, targeted viewing axes, design down to the last detail, and completely cozy at the same time. Sophisticated building technology and perfect lighting concept. We have arrived and walked marvelingly through the beautiful rooms. The stay was gratifying and inspiring for us, it was almost difficult for us to leave the house for our hiking excursions. The contact with Bitja and Timo was very nice. We got detailed instructions, quick help and great excursion tips and felt welcome. It was a really great time, and we can highly recommend it.

Such a beautiful cottage that created such a relaxing & peaceful environment. Some great hikes from the back door & straight into the forest. We loved it!!!

Thank you for a great stay with you! It was great! We stayed there for five days, could see aurora lights every night and had a lot of fun exploring the area. The accommodation is easily accessible by bus and thanks to some preparation we were able to cook and eat excellently in the well-equipped kitchen. An absolute highlight was also the lunch cooked by the residents, followed by bingo. We would like to say a big thank you. It was very cozy with you!

As described, friendly hosts. Value for money and very convenient location (route 6) when you want to move around in the region by private car (or some two-wheeler?) - or just to stay overnight. Note however, that Joensuu center is a drive away and parking there seems to be quite expensive.

The apartment was very beautiful, clean, and cozy. Everything was working just fine. It was a little worried that the mopeds who drove past that Friday night were disturbing our sleep, but the street next door quieted in time. It was a really nice visit, and I'm sure we'll go again if the opportunity comes. Thanks!

It was wonderful to stay at the place during the training. The magnificent view from the windows caressed the eyes from morning to night and the incredibly beautiful nature around invited you to take a walk.

A really lovely little place in a good location for getting into the city but also next to the forest, perfect for what we needed! The hosts were really friendly and helpful and the apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Reijo’s cabin was a beautiful slice of the Finish countryside. There was plenty of exploring and nature to soak in. Reijo was extremely kind and helpful. He’s was extremely knowledgeable of local areas, and history. Wish we had more days to make the most of this beautiful stay.

We had a pleasant and successful holiday in the middle of exceptionally beautiful and peaceful lake Finland. All around, there were only the sounds of birds. We felt welcome and the accommodation met and exceeded our expectations. Our little schoolchild also enjoyed it. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We can warmly recommend the property to nature travelers.

Atmospheric and cozy cottage in a soothingly beautiful environment. The sauna, hot tub and private beach offer wonderful opportunities to pamper your body and mind.

Nice cottage by a cute little lake. There were other neighbours around but it didn't disturb at all, even now in early spring when the naked trees don't offer yet full privacy. Cottage itself is very neat, cozy and it has all needed (incl nice games for the rainy day). It is not very large, but it has a very smart distribution and separation of spaces. Feels larger than it really is. We had rainy and coldish weather, and therefore the glazed terrace was the weekend savior. Sauna had nice and smooth heat. Would go again.

Beautiful, peaceful, picturesque, magical - We wish we could have stayed all summer! The cottage was everything we dreamed of and the surrounding nature and lake were unbelievable. Sauna and hot tub were perfect. We will be back :)
