Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rovaniemi

The best Airbnb we’ve stayed in! The house is, if anything, even nicer than the photos suggest. It’s spacious, in excellent condition and had everything we needed, feeling like a cosy home away from home. It’s in a quiet area, a short drive from the city centre and other attractions. Pauliina was an excellent host. She met us on arrival and reached out with helpful advice. We highly recommend this Airbnb and hope to come back one day.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

We had the most amazing time! This place is truly magical—so calm and relaxing. It offers great privacy while still feeling safe, as there are other houses nearby (so you’re not completely alone in the woods). One of my favorite things was simply looking out the windows at the breathtaking view of snow-covered trees—so idyllic! A highlight of our stay was being able to see the northern lights, both from inside and outside the house. The cottage itself felt like home—warm and cozy with the fireplace, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Taija was incredibly kind and provided us with great recommendations for the area. We absolutely loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was not only sparkling clean, but also furnished with a lot of love for detail – you felt comfortable from the first moment. Everything was exactly as described if not better. The host was extremely warm, helpful, and always available if any questions came up. We particularly liked the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere – the perfect place to switch off and enjoy. We will definitely be happy to come back and highly recommend this place!

Very clean and good place to stay. We booked the towels, duvet covers and the hot tub, everything was super prepared and so we could save some luggage. the accommodation is a bit away from the city center but you can also walk or take the bus into town. Mikko was always available immediately. Overall, we loved it. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

Cosy cabin is exactly that, warm and cosy. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids enjoyed our stay in ounasvaara woods. It’s such a peaceful beautiful location in the middle of stunning walking trails. 5 min walk to a viewing point where we saw the northern lights. The cabin was equipped with everything needed for our 3 night stay, including sleds for the kids. Kaisa was a great host and very kind to allow us a late checkout.

Great stay in a top location! pia always responded and the listing matched the description. fabulous location for cross country skiing and skiing. I'm sure I'll also come here for mountain biking on the sacred credit routes!

“Wonderful stay in Maula” We had a fantastic stay at this cozy Airbnb! The place was just as described – modern, clean and very well equipped. We particularly liked the breathtaking view of the Finnish countryside and the tranquility of the surroundings. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. They gave us great tips for things to do in the area and made us feel comfortable at all times. We want to highlight the sauna, which was a real highlight – ideal for relaxing after an active day. The location was also excellent. We were lucky enough to be able to see the aurora lights several times. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again anytime!

We enjoyed our stay in Rovaniemi, thanks to this lovely apartment. Everything was right. Spacious, very well equipped, good (large) bed and quiet. Warm! Great location, at the edge of the city centre, but not in the busy tourist streets. In the vicinity of supermarkets and restaurants, and all the travel offices. Lauri is a very nice host, so friendly. He responded very fast.

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

We had a top notch stay at Janne's place. Everything met our expectations. Janne's place is spacious and has a private sauna and a fireplace, which we also used extensively. The property is also a perfect starting point for many activities in the area. The equipment Janne offers were also all in very good condition. We didn't see Janne in person because we were also on the road every time, but he is a great host who was always available. Check-in and checkout were easy and straightforward. Definitely a recommendation!

The location couldn’t be better- ski from the front door straight onto the XC groomed tracks. The place itself is cosy and comfortable- the renovated sauna was lovely, the bed super comfy and the view out the window to the snow was relaxing.

Great apartment, spacious, bright, quiet and well located. The private parking space and sauna were appreciated.

We thoroughly enjoyed coming ‘home’ after a day of activities to the house. The sauna warms you up immediately. Evenings are too short when watching your favourite show on the home cinema. The kitchen is super equipped. Everything is available. Great place for relaxing.

A home that matches the description. In the midst of beautiful nature.

I had an incredible time staying at Svetlana’s cabin! The location was perfect and a short drive to Santa Claus Village and the perfect getaway place to Lapland. The space itself was exactly as described - clean, spacious, and comfortable. Svetlana was very tentative and checkin on us to ensure we got everything we need. She even notify us the Aurora outside our cabin!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was beautiful! We got to see the northern lights from the Jacuzzi on the porch! We will definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay for groups! Good amount of living space to hang out and spend time. The Sauna was lovely to use each night, especially as we came in winter when it was still snowing and cold! It’s a bit of a walk into town, so as long as you’re ok with that or have a car or use taxis. But the walk is easy and you get to see some of the scenery. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stay and Daria was lovely!

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

The cottage was a short distance from the center and it was easy to find. The equipment in the cottage was really good and the hot tub was a highlight, especially for the children's trip :) You could also invest a little more in cleanliness outside the seasons, for example, dust balls under the beds. But this was the only minus, we would come again!
