This traditional Lappish log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the spectacular northern lights or cosy up by the open fire place in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. Cabin and its sauna are heated by wood and water for washing taken from the lake.

hand built round log traditional lapland cabin, located on the edge of lake kinisjarvi near lohiniva, half way between rovaniemi and levi. beautifully simple and with everything you need, one of us must meet you on the other side of the lake when you arrive and take you to cabin on snow mobile or by boat (depending on time of year). we have a hand built separate sauna and a wood fired hot tub on site, (hot tub charges apply) plus lake side fire pit and of course log fire in cabin.

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a sympathetic 1811 log cabin. Renovated with modern amenities v.2021. New sauna/toilet and barbecue area and sauna terrace in the yard . After the sauna, drop off the beach in the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, another sauna and a lot, can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo for grilling and a rowing boat. Because of the location outside all the city lights, this is a perfect location to see the northern lights. The best chances to see the the northern lights is during a clear sky without clouds. There are also different forecasts that you can guugle to estimate the possibility of seeing northern ligts. There is a monument of silence built near by.
