We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Bryan and Sara! Reaching the accommodation requires a short hike, but you’re rewarded with stunning views – and the luggage is conveniently brought up by a small tractor. From the very beginning, everything was perfect. The house, garden, and pool are absolutely beautiful – a true little paradise. Everything was clean and lovingly maintained. Bryan and Sara are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who do everything they can to make your stay special. Since we arrived late, Sara kindly offered to prepare a lovely dinner for us, and Bryan gave us a little pizza-making class – such a great experience! Their helpfulness and kindness, combined with the magical charm of the accommodation, made our stay truly unique and unforgettable. Thanks a lot :)

Andrea en Simone, Are very welcoming, the location is a smal walk but with good directions easy to find. Palaia and the accommodation has amazed us, with a amazing home away from home. Great facilities, terrace, jacuzzi, pool, and not to forget amazing views. As a base to explore there is alot of interesting places to go to witin a hour drive. big cities, smaller towns, wineries, and with a tiny bit extra travelling time the sea. We had a great stay with our friends and made some great memories. would recommend the accommodation, as well as the hosts, and would definitely stay again. Kind Regards, Boyd and Naomi

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Urlaubszeit in dieser sehr schönen Ferienwohnung. Die Lage in dem kleinen Dorf oben in den Hügeln der Toskana ist so authentisch und typisch italienisch. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind ein Traum . Die Zimmer sehr sauber, groß und hübsch eingerichtet. Das Bett war fantastisch. Ich habe auswärts schon lange nicht mehr so gut geschlafen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Einzig eine schöne Salatschüssel und ein Toaster hätten uns jetzt gefehlt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal um die Toskana zu erkunden. Die bekannten weißen Strände sind in 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Es gibt überall Parkplätze. Einkaufen ist in dem kleinen Dorf vor Ort beim Bäcker und in dem Tante Emma Laden möglich oder unten in der Stadt bei Lidl und Coop usw. Restaurants sind in Fußgehzeit erreichbar. Toll fanden wir den Imbiss gegenüber der Metzgerei in dem Dorf. Man sitzt ganz idyllisch auf dem Platz mitten im Dorf. Wir bedanken uns für die schönen Zeit.

Villino Isotta è un alloggio che lascia senza fiato, super in ogni aspetto: posizione, pulizia, tutte le camere da letto sono climatizzate, le cucine ed i bagni ampiamente accessoriati, a pochi passi parcheggio gratuito e un caffè aperto fino a tarda sera. All'esterno un patio con vista sulle colline e poi il barbecue, e infine piscina dotata di ogni confort (doccia calda, vasca idromassaggio, lettini, wifi, ecc ecc). Ultimo ma non ultimo l'host Andrea, che ringrazio per l'incredibile e costante attenzione nei riguardi dei suoi ospiti dal primo istante (accogliendoci con un aperitivo di benvenuto) fino all'ultimo. Sempre presente ma mai invadente, sempre disponibile con consigli per rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile, una persona dal cuore immenso che gestisce con passione e serietà questo alloggio. E' stata dura tornare a casa, ci rivedremo sicuramente!

Amazing location and responsive host. Incredible pool with an outstanding view. House, especially the Kitchen, was well well stocked with amenities needed. Highly recommended!

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Wir haben 10 wunderbare Tage in Carolinas geschmackvoll eingerichtetes und perfekt ausgestattetes Haus verbracht und genossen besonders die Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick in die toskanische Landschaft und das malerische Städtchen Montecatini Alto mit mehreren guten und gemütlichen Restaurants. Eine Gelateria und ein kleiner Lebensmittelladen sind fast vor der Haustüre. Durch die urige Standseilbahn nach Montecatini Terme (fährt alle 30 min bis Mitternacht) und eine Buslinie zum Bahnhof sind Ausflüge auch ohne Auto möglich. Carolina ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin - immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

We loved our stay here! The house and the views were truly as picturesque as it seems in the photos. A dream spot! The town itself is full of local flair and is beautiful too. Not touristy at all. Close enough to nearby towns though to explore more of Tuscany! Overall a great stay and Laura was a kind and responsive host.

Wir waren zu 2. und ein Hund für eine Woche da. Die Wohnung ist eher klein, dafür der Aussenbereich gross und eingezäunt. Andrea hat uns alles gezeigt und gute Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Man sollte gut auf Mücken vorbreitet sein, aber auch da hatte Andrea ein Starterset😏 bereit.

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf die Toskana und das Meer. Man fühlt sich als wäre man allein in der Toskana da man keine direkten Nachbarn hat. Man muss zwar auf Schotterwegen zum Haus fahren uns hat das nicht gestört und es lohnt sich. Paola war einer super Gastgeberin und immer gut zu erreichen. Auch für unseren zwei Hunde war es ein super Aufenthalt.

Unser Aufenthalt im Haus von Fernanda war sehr schön. Die Unterkunft sieht aus wie auf den Fotos. Man ist absolut privat, trotz der Nähe zum Haus der Gastgeber. Die Straße ist nah aber hat uns gar nicht gestört. Nachts fahren auch kaum Autos dort. Das Haus ist klein aber fein, man hat alles, was man braucht und eine wundervolle Terrasse mit Garten. An die Dusche muss man sich kurz gewöhnen, aber das geht auch schnell. Wir haben uns im Ort Fahrräder ausgeliehen und konnten so schnell und unkompliziert an den Strand oder in den Ort fahren. Super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Gegend. Fernanda hat uns auch eine tolle Restaurant-Empfehlung zu unserem Hochzeitstag gegeben (Danke nochmal, es war so so schön!!) und es gab einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Fernanda und ihr Mann sind unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie können nur italienisch aber dank moderner Technik auch kein Problem, wenn man nicht alles versteht. Können das Haus nur empfehlen und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen!!

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Hügel der Toskana, das Meer und die Inseln ist unbezahlbar! Ein besonderes Erlebnis ist es, wenn Roccos Taubenschwarm seine Kreise dicht übers Häuschen zieht. Nachts sieht man auf der Wiese hinterm Haus Glühwürmchen - magisch! Wir haben auch die Gelegenheit genossen, an einem Dinner auf der Toscani Ranch teilzunehmen. Es war eine sehr herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre! Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Casale Marittimo ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und zu Recht als eins der schönsten Dörfer Italiens ausgezeichnet. Wir haben außerdem Ausflüge nach San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florenz und bis hinunter zu den Thermen von Saturnia und dem Giardino dei Tarocchi gemacht. Das Meer ist nur 15 Autominuten entfernt. Der Pinienwald am Strand von Cecina ist sehenswert, genau wie der Torre de Bibbone. Grundausstattung für die Küche muss man mitbringen, wir empfehlen das leckere Olivenöl von Rocco zu beziehen! Danke für die Zeit!

Simone ist ein ganz besonderer Gastgeber. Die persönliche Begrüßung war sehr herzlich. Es gab neben Obst, Getränken und Gebäck auch einen leckeren Chianti zur Begrüßung und von der Nachbarin wurden direkt frische Eier für uns gekauft. Zudem gab Simone viele hilfreiche Tipps für Orte, Restaurants, Strände, Parkplätze etc. in der Umgebung. Für Fragen war er jederzeit einfach zu erreichen. Auch die schön eingerichtete und saubere Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, nicht zuletzt das bequeme Bett. In der Umgebung gibt es zudem viel zu sehen, z.B. haben wir Pisa und den schönen Strand in Rosignano besucht. Eine Anreise mit dem Auto ist zu empfehlen, auf dem Grundstück kann man problemlos parken. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt in Simones Unterkunft sehr und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Fünf Sterne!!!

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

Wir haben uns bei Isabell sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr hell und sauber. Isabell hat sich mit der Einrichtung sehr viel Mühe geben und überall kleine Aufmerksamkeit platziert. Es gibt sehr gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants/Bars (Sugahero, Gli Orti können wir beides sehr empfehlen) und auch die Katzen auf dem Gelände werden vorgestellt. Das Pool Areal ist sehr clean und bietet viel Schatten, der Garten ist wunderschön durchdacht und ein ruhiger Rückzugsort. Wir würden Isabells Unterkunft auch Freunden empfehlen. Vielen Dank

Absolutely gorgeous property with country side view and a cozy outdoor area, plus two friendly black cats! Louise was the perfect host: friendly, generous, attentive, she even offered to help us out when we had a setback that was totally unrelated to our stay at her property. Highly recommend to any traveller seeking an idyllic stay in the Tuscan countryside!

Wir durften vier wunderschöne Wochen dort verbringen. Das Haus ist einfach, aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man benötigt. Die Veranda und der Garten sind ein Highlight. Bäcker, Mini-Markt, Metzger, diverse kleine Restaurants, eine Bar direkt am Meer sind alle fussläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Menschen dort sind wahnsinnig nett! Francesco ist äußerst aufmerksam! Er hatte Kaffee, einen Obstkorb, Zutaten für ein erstes Essen und eine Flasche Wein bereitgestellt, sodass wir nicht direkt einkaufen mussten. Und er war bei Fragen und für Tipps jederzeit erreichbar! Vielen Dank für alles! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Alloggiare in questo appartamento è stato meraviglioso. Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo passato due notti immersi nella campagna toscana in un piccolo appartamento accogliente, pulitissimo e fornito di tutto il necessario. Il giardino è bellissimo, ricco di alberi da frutto e gatti dolcissimi che arricchiscono il soggiorno. Torneremo presto a trovare Sheila nella sua carinissima casa in campagna.

I would give 10 stars if possible! What a wonderful Airbnb - one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful and clean house, and so peaceful with breathtaking views and in a fantastic village with lots of walking as well as a sweet little restaurant and a handy shop which was open from early until late. A very easy drive to Lucca and lots of other sweet villages in the hills. We also did a fantastic hike right from the front door. The kitchen and bathroom were very thoughtfully equipped and the BBQ was an excellent bonus. Elisa and Roberto were so lovely and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone - and may even return myself one day so I can sit on that beautiful terrace and take in those views again.

Sylvia was an amazing host from the beginning! She came to meet us at the check-in and made sure all our needs were met any time of the day. She was very sweet and made us feel right at home! The place has a very nice hot tub facing the mountains and it gave us some beautiful sunset views! 10/10 would recommend!

Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen! die Unterkunft gehört zu einem Weingut dessen Besichtigung auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen ist. Auf dem gesamten Areal wird viel Wert auf Ambiente und Kunst gelegt. Alles ist super sauber und sehr ruhig. Die Bilder können nicht zeigen wie schön es in Wirklichkeit hier ist. Wir haben auf jeden Fall vor wieder her zu kommen.
