What a hidden gem! The cabin was amazing. The short story of the history of the cabin made the stay that much more special. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We even had the joy of watching several deer venture out before sunset. Perfect get away from the hustle of day to day for sure!

Earnestine and Leo were absolutely wonderful hosts. The space (we rented both the downstairs unit and the upstairs unit) was exactly what we needed to have a group living here comfortably for 2.5 months while we worked in Vicksburg. Earnestine and Leo live in the upstairs unit, which made them feel like friendly neighbors in addition to being good hosts. They were communicative, really responsive with any issues we had, and are just really nice people. We’ve passed on the airbnb listing so our colleagues in Vicksburg can recommend it to other visiting groups that need longer term housing.

At this point, it feels like home. We've had the pleasure of staying at the Lily Pad at least 2x a year for the last few years. It's the perfect spot for our family of 4 (2kids 3 and under) to stay and spend time with out family in Lake Providence. We always have everything we need, this place is well furnished yet spacious. The kitchen had everything I need to cook for our family. Walmart delivers!! So dino nuggets and fries were air fried nightly lol. Just a few minutes from restaurants and grocery store, we always enjoy our time here.
