Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rockland County

The house was wonderful, very unique making it all that more enjoyable of a stay. Amit was easy to communicate with, in fact he reached out to us to make sure we were comfortable and any concerns which we had none of. Strongly recommended staying here, we will again.

My family and I spent a great couple of weeks in Justin’s house. The house is walking distance from “downtown” Piermont which we took advantage of every day, grabbing coffee, brunch and a stroll by the Hudson River. The house itself is really big and nicely updated for a modern family. The interior is inviting and stylish. The house is very friendly for children as there are plenty of toys and a small little playground under the deck which our daughter of 1,5 particularly enjoyed. Justin was super accommodating and made sure we had what we needed for our stay with a small child. The view from the house and the deck is amazing, overlooking lush trees and with a view to the Hudson River. Only thing I would note is that we didn’t notice that the house is right on a main road when we booked it, so there is quite a lot of noise from cars when you’re outside on the deck and also when in the bedrooms facing the street, however, we got used to it after a few nights. But overall a great stay!

Great stay in general especially with friends or family. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking needs and the place was very clean. I loved the family and living space perfect to enjoy w a group of people. Things to keep in mind; the en suite seems like an awkward diy job with shotty work including the shower drain, doors, and makeshift closet and one of the “bedrooms” is a nook attached to a bedroom with two twin beds in it. I only had a few minor things tha needed touching up but that did not effect the stay overall. Things that needed attention including; the curtains in the master don’t fully cover the front glass door, the master bedroom knob was broken from the outside so you could lock yourself out, and the outdoor furniture was not clean or set up to use. I’m sure they fix up the outdoor furniture later but I was only aware that the pool was closed for the season not the fire pit. Arran place was amazing, and it was very accommodating. Very close to the train station which was nice for us.

Cute house that was very clean and comfortable. Great location to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Close by to scenic areas for our family weekend. Rachel was very helpful and responsive. Enjoyed our stay!

I stayed at John's place with my family of 5 and dog on short notice. John was very responsive and kind. He even took care of snow removal promptly the morning we left! The space is bigger than it looks in the photos. Plenty of room for all of us.

Comfortable home where we felt welcome and not a 'sterile' environment with no personality, but lots of beautiful artwork by the owner. Had everything we needed in terms of accommodations, linens, wi-fi, towels, spices, washer and dryer, etc. etc. Loved the live plants, all well-cared for and obviously loved. Like so many lakes in the area, the algae has begun to take over.

My friends and I had a great time, both in rain and sunshine. Many outdoor activities to enjoy and we even got to stay later than our initial check out time which was greatly appreciated! The host was very responsive, communicative, and provided us with many necessities to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and incredibly well-prepared. The host went above and beyond—there was a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board waiting for us when we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. She truly thought of everything we might need, from toiletries to kitchen essentials, including a variety of snacks/breakfast items, coffee and teas. It made our stay comfortable, relaxing and stress-free. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

My partner and I enjoyed a pleasant stay in New Jersey while attending the Cowboy Carter concert at MetLife Stadium. The home is conveniently located just a short drive from MetLife Stadium, the American Dream Mall, and NJ Transit, which provides easy access to New York City.

We felt very comfortable in Cecia's apartment. The apartment was very clean and as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The communication was quick and friendly and we got a lot of valuable tips from her and her husband. From JFK Airport, it was about 2 hours by public transport to the apartment. To get to Manhattan, there are several bus lines, the stops are 2 to 10 minutes away. Near the apartment, there are also many restaurants and bakeries, as well as supermarkets, within walking distance. Thanks for the wonderful stay. :-)

Graham was an excellent host. He was very responsive, had plenty of suggestions on what to do in the neighborhood, and made the checkin process very easy for us. The apartment is exactly as described - it is very clean and comfortable. The backyard reading area is the true highlight, there is a stream overlooking old railroad tracks which can be walked to get to restaurants and the main street. The views in the backyard are amazing and made for a wonderful summer getaway. The town of Beacon itself is lovely, the AirBnB is in a perfect location to keep away from the touristy areas but close enough for easy morning coffee runs and also accessible to nature. Furthermore, Graham was great to chat to and let us keep our stuff in the lockers and hang out in the backyard even after our official checkout. 5/5 would come back again.

Eva is a wonderful host. Her house is large and beautiful, with wonderful views over a park like property. The bedrooms are spacious, and the bed is comfortable. Bathroom is impeccable and very modern. Her breakfasts are legendary: I mentioned that I liked eggs and yoghurt and berries for breakfast and got the most elaborate and tasty meal possible! Eva is a lovely person who makes you feel welcome and appreciated. I had a very pleasant stay, and will certainly return.

We had a wonderful Hudson Valley stay at this property. Our grand-daughters loved sleeping together in the bedroom with two double beds; and my wife and I, plus our two daughters and their husbands enjoyed good nights of sleep in the three bedrooms containing a double or queen bed. The kitchen was well equipped; and the huge living room with large dining table was perfect for the children to play, the adults to relax, and all of us to eat. The artwork in the house gave it character, the views of the Hudson River were a treat, and the location was great for visits to Storm King Art Center and Legoland NY. The email which I brought along from AirBnB had the correct street, but the wrong numerical address; however, AirBnB promptly helped us find the correct address and helped us get into the house. Of all the houses which we have rented for family weekends, this was absolute the best one.

It was a great place for 8 of us to stay and enjoy an upstate weekend. An easy drive from NYC and easy access to many attractions. Kitchen is well equipped and fully functional. Ricky was very responsive. Overall I would stay here again.

The house is very modern, clean and organized. Nice stay, but too bad the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the outdoor space.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was perfect for our group! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The house has a stunning view of the lake and the kids loved the swing set in the yard. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location was peaceful and picturesque — waking up to the lake view each morning was a treat. We would absolutely recommend this place to families or groups looking for a relaxing getaway in nature. Would love to come back again!
