Relaxing Farm Steading With Wood Burning Stove

AdamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Alex is a true Scottish Gentleman, and a very gentle and well-read soul at that. Nestled in a small piece of highlands heaven, Alex's farm is tranquil (though there's a spot of logging over yonder in 2025) and the a-frame house matched Magnus's description and caveats. I could have spent a lot more time talking to the erudite Alex over a cup of tea, but he had sheepdogs to train! A wonderful stay indeed.

Rustic cabin with wood stove in Highland glen

Beautiful cabin with charming interior and fabulous wood burner. Truly excellent location for hiking in Glen Lyon. Tim was a fabulous host who gave the airbnb experience we remember from the early days which is often missing now. Loved it!

Glen Turret Pod in The Highlands

MarkRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Enjoyed my stay here for 3 nights in a purpose built wooden pod on this lovely campsite. It was basic accommodation but everything I needed. Comfortable mattresses, a kettle, microwave, heater and power sockets. It was great to be able to sit on a mini veranda overlooking the rest of the site. The shower block with toilets was very clean and just a 2-3 min walk away. A great location to explore Fort William and surrounding area. Would definitely book again if visiting the area.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. Bella's Place

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We love the Lochaber area and have stayed at various hotels and B&Bs over the past 10 years. Ross and Rachel have created a beautifully comfortable retreat that we would definitely return to. Having stayed in a variety of garden based accommodation it was relaxing to have that a bit more space to move around in, and the amount of clothing storage in the bedroom was amazing- great for the varied packing that a Scottish summer requires. A very well appointed kitchen and great local coop meant we ate in 2 of our 3 nights. We enjoyed the patio and the chimenea, timescales meant we didn't get to fire up the tub but look forward to that next time. The Ariston water heater for the kitchen, and electric shower were excellent. Our plans had changed last minute and we enjoyed a relaxed few days in the local area and managed a last minute full day of sea kayaking, resulting in zonking out on the very comfy sofa that evening watching a bit of TV. Great space!

Lovely wee cabin, very relaxing surroundings and good circular walk. The cabin was very dog friendly and he felt very at home. Cherry Tree Pod with hot tub & now 'DOG' friendly

EllieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Spent a weekend away in this little lodge with some friends. Its adorable inside and so peacful. Its hiden away in what feels like the middle of nowhere, so a great place to relax. Lee was great at getting everything ready for us and had the hot tub lit in time for our arrival. He messaged to make sure we knew where we were going with good instructions as googlemap wasnt being very helpful. Lee was also very quick with answering any questions we had. Theres a little welcome package with local attractions and instructions about the hottub, both were very helpful. The outdoor seating and hottub were heaven. There is a noise restriction which we were very caution of, it did cut our evenings outdoor a bit short as we didnt want to be too loud but its understandable since the area is so quiet noise really does travel. But the seating area inside is lovely so we had music and played some board games so didnt really feel like we missed out. A really lovely place, would highly recommend.

Superb stay from beginning to end, watching the late sun setting behind the mountains with Hares playing in the field a bonus. We chose here as a central point for visiting the big attractions which worked well. Rebecca thanks for a memorable visit to the highlands your place ticked all the good boxes.

Stunning cabin in perfect Loch Ness location!

BrittneyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint, cozy cabin outside of Fort Augustus. Our host was incredibly thoughtful and thorough, the location was absolutely ideal, the space was comfortable, and we had assigned parking (harder to find than you’d think at many other places). Thank you to Robin and her adorable family for the warm welcome and the peaceful visit at Winterfell!

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

LynnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful little cottage has everything you need to feel right at home. It has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. The bedroom is relaxing and bed is very comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. Chris and janet have put lots of local information in the cottage to help make the most of your stay. Only draw back is there is no shop in fortingall, so your nearest shop is in Aberfeldy 7miles away ( not a big deal for us as we were out most of the day). We would highly recommend a visit to the owl house. Many thanks for hosting us. We might see you again when we come back to climb meall nan tarmachan at some point x
