Apartment holiday rentals in River Spey

We had a great stay in Fiona's apartment. Everything was as described. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable & we had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Grantown on Spey is lovely and perfectly placed to explore the local area. Communication with Fiona was excellent and so we felt relaxed and safe.

The apartment is located in a period residence which had been sensitively restored. It is immaculately presented and has every convenience . The bed is very comfotable with high quality linen. The treats provided by Mairi were much appreciated and were most welcome after a hard days walking. The town centre is a few minutes away together with river walks and the Great Glen walk for the more adventurous. Mairi is a very responsive host and lives close. It was a pleasure to meet her. We would love to return when we visit Inverness.

Lovely little flat with great views of the Cairngorms. Very well fitted out, the lack of a TV was no loss as it made us do other things in the evening. Spotlessly clean. Didn't see Humphrey as he was on a bike ride round Scotland on behalf of the Samaritans, when we did need to contact him by text he responded very quickly and got things sorted out. Would totally recommend.

This is how Air B and Bs should be. Not only was the accommodation itself fantastic (and obviously being in the Cairngorms, in a stunning location) but the hosts had thought about everything you could possibly need during your stay. Would definitely stay at the Riverside Hideaway again if I was up in that part of the world.

Magical apartment in the old abbey. Cool building to explore. Don’t miss the graveyard. We had a 6 PM check in and had a flat tire coming up from Fort William. When I informed our host we would be delayed, she actually connected me with a tire replacement company FASTER than the rental company! So, the rental company confirmed the services right away and our delay was only 2 hours. We are SO THANKFUL to our kind host! The Boathouse restaurant has the best views, doesn’t require reservations, and was open later until everything else had closed. It’s a big issue to either have reservations (even for pizza!) or eat super early before 6 pm to get food. No local grocery store. Gas station does have fruit and vegetables. We couldn’t figure out the dryer despite the directions.

What a fantastic stay! The most beautiful cottage with everything we needed, even some breakfast for our first morning. The setting was magical and so many stunning walks around. We will definitely be back! Elizabeth was so kind in showing us all we needed to know and providing information about must see's in the area. We also loved little Mindy who came for cuddles :)

Ruth’s place is perfect for family stay. Super clean and tidy, match the description. The parking space is a plus.

We were pleased with the spaciousness and cleanliness of the property which was much needed after a long road trip. The toilet was very clean and the water pressure and heater worked perfectly. The bed was also cozy with clean and fresh linen. Extra blankets were provided which was amazing. The surrounding neighbourhood is also very peaceful and safe. We had space to also park our car right on the main street. This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for cleanliness and comfort!

This was a very nice apartment. Very cozy and warm. It was easy to find and the instructions for entering were perfect. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It is close to many historical places and they were easy to get to. We would highly recommend this place for those wishing to stay in this area. Great Inverness location. Christopher was a great host. He communicated proactively. His place was exactly as described. We spent 2 days in and around Inverness and we walked to and from town. We used the pullout sleeper and bedroom. Hot shower, great water pressure, comfy beds, fully stocked kitchen, and all the necessities you need to enjoy your stay.

A beautiful flat in peaceful surroundings and still close to local amenities

My family and I stayed at Jill’s place and it felt immediately like home. The place was exactly like described and she even left some cookies that went lovely with the tea. She includes a QR code of the various things you may need to know about the place or getting around town. The location was super beneficial to get around since it was close to the train station but also close to restaurants. Even though it being in the heart of town, it was quiet which was nice after a long day of adventures.

First of all, thank you Fiona for having us in your place. You have been such a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is lovely and comfortable. Home away from home. We love hearing the birds in the backyard and just relaxing.

Superb, very spacious, thoughtfully and immaculately presented basement flat of family home. Felt private. Super location for walking to local amenities /beach. Mike and Helen have thought through what helps a holiday maker and provided it in the apartment . Communication was v. prompt and helpful. All good!

Amanda's flat was nothing short of superb. excellent location...east to find...spacious apartment...comfy beds...nice welcoming amenities upon our arrival. More daily amenities than you usually find in UK Airbnbs. Amanda's instructions and guidance via comprehensive emails was extraordinary. some Airbnb hosts assume that the guests will figure out the nuances of a property on their own. That can lead to frustration for the guest. Amanda made sure everything was at our finger tips that we may have needed during our stay. the only regret is that we could only stay one night! Highly recommended!

Much quieter than listing suggests. Don’t be put off by warning of noise, worst it gets is people walking above and washing machine. Lovely place, clean, tranquil with plenty of storage and well equipped

The nook was so cosy and clean and had everything I needed. Aviemore is a beautiful place, and the note on the bookshelf gave me some great recommendations, as well as the leaflets made available. Holly communicated really well which I was really grateful for.
