I had a wonderful stay at Ornum Cottage, a charming bed and breakfast near Beauly and close to Inverness. The peaceful and scenic surroundings made it a perfect retreat, and the location was ideal for exploring both the countryside and the city. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, with a delicious breakfast that added a special touch to the stay. The hosts were attentive and provided helpful information, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Ornum Cottage for anyone looking for a tranquil escape with easy access to Inverness.

Nice, super clean, comfortable. Farther away from town so you’ll need a car as there are no cooking facilities. When we arrived there was a note to call to check in. With no local mobile number, I was concerned we would be stuck outside, fortunately one of the contact numbers has whatsup enabled. The snacks were a really nice touch!

Really enjoyed staying at the church and experiencing the countryside. The gardens around the building are phenomenal and super lovely to walk through. Would recommend the place just for the gardens. The room itself is very comfy, clean, and homey. Also, it was great for our needs. Our toddler slept in the second bed in the room. The check-in process was a little cumbersome but Kris was lovely, gave lots of good recommendations, and was friendly whenever we saw him.

Jamie is a warm, friendly and very welcoming host. An experienced guide, full of valuable advice! His accommodation is in a charming and peaceful neighborhood, 10 minutes walk away from Inverness Bus Station. The cleanliness of the accommodation is impeccable, in addition to being spacious and offering a private bathroom. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Highlands :)

A Truly Unforgettable Stay – Like Visiting Family in Scotland. Our stay at John’s B&B in Kinlochleven was nothing short of exceptional. After a long and rainy walk, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it truly felt like coming home. John went above and beyond to help us get dry and comfortable again – his hospitality was genuine, thoughtful, and deeply appreciated. The room was incredibly cozy, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, and everything – from the bathroom to the kitchen – was spotless. You can tell this home is cared for with great pride & attention to detail. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and set us up perfectly for the next day’s walk. It wasn’t just the food, but the way John seemed to know exactly what we needed before we even asked. His intuitive sense of when to offer a friendly chat or when to give space was remarkable. It felt more like visiting a beloved Uncle John in Scotland than staying at a B&B. It was a truly heartwarming experience. Thanks.

Leila and David were wonderful hosts. They were like family. We enjoyed their home, the room and bathroom were perfect. The meals were very enjoyable, and they were very accommodating to our meal and dietary requests. The settjng was great, beautiful and peaceful. The location was a good starting point each day as we toured the Highlands of Scotland. Thank you very much for a great experience.

Excellent! A beautiful old house we enjoyed our stay. Onsite parking. Walking distance to the village. The breakfast was very good and friendly staff.

Great communication throughout. Due to flight delays I didn’t arrive until 10:30 pm but they were up and met me at the door. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the river just across the street. The breakfast was delightful and plentiful. I highly recommend this spot and if I’m in Inverness again will try to book and stay!

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here! The room was spacious and was well equipped with all of the comforts and amenities you could want or need. Plenty of outlets and USB ports were available for charging of the whole family’s devices. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed it and were quite pleased with the multiple options you are given to choose from. The location is pretty far from Inverness, but we actually prefer being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sheila and Allen were very gracious hosts and helped make our stay at the B&B feel like home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

L’accueil était particulièrement charmant et les hôtes sont adorables et de bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner est également très bon. Rien à redire, je recommande tout particulièrement.

High quality accommodation, fantastic breakfast in a beautiful room overlooking the garden and located in a really nice village. Make sure you book dinner at a local restaurant as they do appear to book out. This is a highly recommended B and B.

We loved our stay at Jodie and Martin's place! Thanks to the clear instructions provided we got there without any issues but it might be trickier in the dark! Jodie's friendly welcome was great and she walked us through the room amenities. We were only staying for one night but the room was cosy, the kitchenette was very helpful for breakfast. We had a really comfortable and peaceful night's sleep and would return quite happily :)

Gunta is a great host, her bnb is a beautiful and cozy house surrounded by nature, set in an area from which is possible to visit many things. The rooms are fully furnished and the bathrooms are very clean. Defintely worth it !

Very comfortable. Great location next to the station. Frank & Maria went out of their way to make sure I had everything needed and gave lots of recommendations for things to do, walks to try and places to eat. Even though it is a room only basis, they provide a fridge and microwave, crockery tea&coffee, biscuits, milk, juice, fruit, yoghurts etc so you can easily sort a continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Pitlochry itself is a lovely little market town with lots to see, and great links into Scotland. 5*

Stayed only one day but felt very welcomed... The food was amazing and very well presented! Room is up to hotel standards and bathroom very clean. The host is very kind and provides great insight about the area, we arrived a little late but the check-in was very easygoing. They also have their own self-made honey products. It's also close by Inverness if you want to visit that. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful rest and friendly hospitality!

We had a great stay with Chris! The location was ideal…only a ~7min walk to the bridge and access to restaurants and other city offerings. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with yummy snacks (& even a little whiskey!). Chris definitely knows how to make a delicious made-to-order breakfast! I appreciated his communication l, not just during our stay but even before our arrival, making some great suggestions of places to see along our drive to Inverness. Chris is a wonderful host…we enjoyed chatting with him each day!

Excellent B&B! We stayed in the Balmoral room, which was very spacious, had a charming patio overlooking gorgeous pastures and mountains. The bathroom was also large and lovely! Very comfortable bedding and access to good wifi, TV, and tea cart when winding down at night. The breakfast was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the home cooking and baking was superb. Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Hosts were friendly and had good recommendations for local diners and activities.

Gunta's B&B was perfect for our single night stay. It was a simple drive from Inverness and made for an enjoyable rest before continuing our journey. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was fabulous. We felt completely at home.

wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Margaret ist sehr gastfreundlich und ist um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Das Frühstück, welches extra bezahlt wird, ist jeden Cent wert! typisch englisches Frühstück und dazu Müsli, Obst, Saft und Wasser. wir waren sehr zufrieden und empfehlen jeden den Stop!
