I had a wonderful stay at Ornum Cottage, a charming bed and breakfast near Beauly and close to Inverness. Beautiful place, the surrounding area is stunning on a clear day. The accommodation is comfy, homely and spacious. Breakfast reviews definitely lived up to expectations! Incredibly beautiful church, entrance, hallway and room. The garden was cozy and well thought out. We felt at home. Kris the host was kind and compassionate. Luxurious with the breakfast included. We're super happy.

We loved our stay at Jodie and Martin's place! Thanks to the clear instructions provided we got there without any issues but it might be trickier in the dark! Jodie's friendly welcome was great and she walked us through the room amenities. We were only staying for one night but the room was cosy, the kitchenette was very helpful for breakfast. We had a really comfortable and peaceful night's sleep and would return quite happily :)

My family of 4 had the most wonderful stay at Castle View. Eleanor and her sweet Mia made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Castle View - not just for the lovely rooms, cleanliness, and fabulous location but also for the warmth and kindness of Eleanor.

Undoubtably one of, if not the best place I have ever stayed at. My engineers had the 2 bed apartment next door. On their arrival Sunday they travelled 10 hours from Essex and didn’t get to the pub till 12:30 am. Maxine made sure to stay up for them to welcome them in. I arrived on Monday (at a normal time) and was shown to my room and around the pub so I knew where everything was. We had dinner in the pub on both of the nights we stayed, which was cooked by Maxine’s husband Garry. All home cooked and homemade dinners from his experience as a chef and baker. Maxine and Garry both went above and beyond during our stay, always making sure we were ok, got to know us personally and really made us feel welcomed and at home. Although the pub is closed to the public on Mondays , they were still offering their food and kitchen services for us. Overall, 10/10 for me. If we are ever to return back to Aberdeen , we will be making sure we stay here again Thank you again Maxine and Garry

Very cosy and comfortable location with friendly hosts, quality facilities, off road parking and tasty breakfasts. We have enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a few days’ stay.

This is great value place to stay in really beautiful location. Staff were all very friendly and food was lovely and hearty. A perfect base for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the peace and quiet.

I highly recommend this lovely Airbnb! It was such a joy spending a couple of days at this lovely lodge. Everyone we met in Aviemore was incredibly nice and it was absolutely gorgeous. The room was clean and cozy, and breakfast was delicious. The homemade bread and jam was wonderful. Rebecca greeted us with a warm tea and great conversation. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location with lovely sights over Inverness. Deidre and David were very friendly and responded very fast on our requests. We will definitely come back!

Stayed at the shandwick inn as a stopover from doing the NC500. Room was very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast delivered in the morning was great. Food was absolutely superb.

Excellent B&B! We stayed in the Balmoral room, which was very spacious, had a charming patio overlooking gorgeous pastures and mountains. The bathroom was also large and lovely! Very comfortable bedding and access to good wifi, TV, and tea cart when winding down at night. The breakfast was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the home cooking and baking was superb. Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Hosts were friendly and had good recommendations for local diners and activities.

Gunta's B&B was perfect for our single night stay. It was a simple drive from Inverness and made for an enjoyable rest before continuing our journey. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was fabulous. We felt completely at home.

Gunta is a great host, her bnb is a beautiful and cozy house surrounded by nature, set in an area from which is possible to visit many things. The rooms are fully furnished and the bathrooms are very clean. Defintely worth it !

Margaret was so friendly and accommodating. A peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for those who want to sleep in!

Stayed only one day but felt very welcomed... The food was amazing and very well presented! Room is up to hotel standards and bathroom very clean. The host is very kind and provides great insight about the area, we arrived a little late but the check-in was very easygoing. They also have their own self-made honey products. It's also close by Inverness if you want to visit that. I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful rest and friendly hospitality!

We had a great stay with Chris! The location was ideal…only a ~7min walk to the bridge and access to restaurants and other city offerings. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with yummy snacks (& even a little whiskey!). Chris definitely knows how to make a delicious made-to-order breakfast! I appreciated his communication l, not just during our stay but even before our arrival, making some great suggestions of places to see along our drive to Inverness. Chris is a wonderful host…we enjoyed chatting with him each day!
