Holiday rentals with a fire pit in River Medway

The house was beautiful, tastefully updated and very well organized. We loved using the fireplaces and Kate had the house nicely decorated for the holidays. The kitchen was wonderful and we enjoyed cooking our Christmas dinner there. It was a perfect setting for a vacation rental, lovely grounds, footpaths just around the corner, just perfect! And Kate was very responsive to all our requests. Recommended great local restaurants and a 13th century church for Christmas Day. Excellent accommodation! We loved it!

Our party of 6 were all very happy with our stay. Very comfortable, very well equipped, lovely garden. Highly recommended.

The perfect place for any event with family and friends to relax and enjoy the chilled atmosphere with easy access to all facilities in the area. The host of Cantwara was outstandingly welcoming throughout our stay so I would recommend to anyone planning a staycation in the near future and beyond.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, we felt right at home. Dee and Jeff were exceptional hosts, very friendly and welcoming. They really do go the extra mile, as all the reviews say - to ensure we have a pleasant stay. The barn was everything I expected and more, you could see there were so many nice personal touches and preparation that went into making our stay as amazing as it was - from the complimentary breakfast (locally sourced), to the mobile charger and bottles of water by the bedside. Also, loved having access to Netflix and Prime! Will absolutely recommend and stay again, maybe in the Autumn/Winter time to take advantage of the log burner and fire pit outside!

We have loved it from the first moment. Very nice home with comfy beds and sofas. The kitchen is well equipped and both bathrooms are very clean. Our favourite has been the garden, which invites to relax under the trees. Highly recommended. Would always stay again.

Spent 6 pleasant days at Littleshaw Cottage. Although we went in June the evenings were chilly but the underfloor heating in the cottage kept us warm. All the things we needed, and more, for a comfortable stay were provided. We felt very secure in the cottage as it is in the private grounds of the main house behind a gated driveway. This was our first visit to Kent and there is so much to see. If we returned for another holiday we would like to stay here again.

Amazing place right on the beach - fun driving through the sunbathers to the house which was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

What a wonderful place……everything as described….David & Donna provided a great welcome pack. The house had everything needed for a relaxing break. Beach was quiet and clean. Games room was a hit for the competitive people in our group! View from the sitting room was stunning ……Plenty of parking and was very easy to find.

Gorgeous flat on the seafront, with two super comfy bedrooms and beautifully curated art throughout the house - would 100% stay again if I’m ever back in St Leonard’s!

Pros: best location! restaurants, pubs museums, history near + many tube stop so easy to get around. Spotless Fab apt with starters for coffee, snack, and kitted out kitchen. Amazing communication to ensure I was very comfortable. Highly recommend! Cons: not enough time 🎶

Lovely stay at this property - it had everything we needed including a great view to the Dungeness lighthouse. Hosts were really helpful and responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Worth every penny! We stayed here for 5 weeks while I did my cabin crew training at the CAE. Beautiful property just like the photos, squeaky clean, private and everything we needed to make it home!! Sarah is super responsive and helpful in every way. Clean linen and towels every week as promised, bed linen was so soft!! Brighton is a 20 minute drive & great for the weekends.. Sarah gave us lots of great recommendations, which we loved! Thank you so much again Sarah, you are a beautiful person inside and out!! Xx

Such a peaceful stay, it really doesn't feel like you're in London! The accommodation was beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard. I suspect my host may be an interior designer. Absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a little peaceful get away whilst in the heart of London.

Sara is a wonderful, caring host and her place was a perfect little sanctuary - the garden was a peaceful haven away from the hustle of London, a lovely addition to the warm and inviting apartment. At Sara's place I found well being, contentment and I renewed my love of simple pleasures in life. Perfect.

I couldn't recommend our stay enough, the cabin was beautiful, absolutely perfect for a peaceful holiday. The highland cows in the garden were lovely and there were bunnies everywhere - so cute to watch while having breakfast in the morning. There are lots of walks to do directly from the cabins without needing to drive anywhere, multiple pubs are also walkable and coming back to a hot tub after a long walk was perfect. Jo and her family were really kind, and put up birthday decorations for us and there was a little hamper with fresh eggs, bread, milk and cakes. Jo replied really quickly to our requests and made our stay as smooth as possible.

Larissa and her partner were so friendly and welcoming. The beautiful little cabin/pool house is situated next to the main house in their garden, which is surrounded by well kept wild gardens and a forest which is very relaxing. The pool is great and really well looked after, Larissa was kind enough to let us know when she intended to come down and use the pool when we were sitting by it. Comfortable inside calm space, with the kind touch of a few eggs and some tasty jam left in the fridge. All the utensils/pans/plates you need for cooking on the hob, just need to bring along your teas/coffees and any little bits :) You can also take a lovely little walk straight from the garden through the forest and into fields, we just enjoyed sitting around the pool and taking some walks. Very relaxing few days. Thanks so much.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin over the Easter weekend. Groombridge is a lovely, tucked away area and the cabin feels very remote and peaceful. Christopher made us feel very at home and I cannot recommend the pizza more! Perfect dough recipe. Comfortable sleeping and spacious for 7. Highly recommend ⭐️

Really lovely cabin and location, perfect stay for us and two dogs with the enclosed garden really convenient for this. Very clear instructions on how to find and so peaceful and a great short walk into the forest. Would love to return again soon.

We loved our stay at Hop Pickers Retreat. The pod itself was clean and tidy with plenty of room for 2 guests. The kitchen was very cute and we loved the outside facilities like the lounge and picnic table. The hot tub was a bonus however we did struggle to keep it warm (likely user error!) would 100% recommend this location and would love to stay again. Thanks for making a 30th birthday weekend enjoyable. X

This is a truly special Airbnb that is very peaceful and well decorated. The indoor space is as beautiful as the woods outside. We had a few lovely dinners at the White Hart pub, which is in walking distance, and also recommend a nearby coffee shop/restaurant called Tyler's ground. Checking in and out was easy and Emma and Rowan were friendly with great information on the local area. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a quiet restorative trip.

What an absolute gem! Beautiful surroundings, your own private garden, lovely clean well arranged accommodation. We were delighted with Kate’s place! Loved the birdsong and all the touches Kate provided. There was milk in the fridge, there were chocolates by the bed, and on the table! It was exactly like the pictures and Kate’s instructions for check in/out were clear and timely. Parking easy. Will definitely stay again if in the neighbourhood and will be recommending to friends and family.
