Holiday rentals with a sauna in River Eden

We really enjoyed our two night stay. Great location. Lovely warm shower and a very good breakfast included.

Just had an incredible weekend break at Jenny's gorgeous accommodation. I have seen other reviews saying that the photos and description doesn't do this place justice and I totally agree. The lodge had everything we needed, was perfectly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the balcony are breathtaking!! The location is so picturesque, peaceful and clean and extremely close to Keswick. We took full advantage of the gym, swimming pool, sauna and hot tub, which was a brilliant way to start/finish the day. Also highly recommend the White Horse pub, where I have eaten the best chicken burger ever! Jenny, thank you for the kind and thoughtful treats. We highly recommend your place to anyone!! xxx

Lovely place to stay. My partner had a lovely birthday weekend. The views were amazing, the bed was super comfy and the bathtub was incredible! We will definitely be back. 10/10 stay.

Amazing stay, lovely room with good amenities. Excellent sauna available to use and helpful information about the local area. Hosts very knowledgeable about the walks and local wildlife! We were lucky enough to spot the badgers in the evening and some otters on the lake! Overall absolutely wonderful stay!

Patrick’s apartment is a great place in a stunning location, with everything you need for your trip away. The place is ideal for friends looking for a couple of nights away. I would highly recommend and hope to return for another stay.

We booked this accom very last minute(3hrs before we checked in), and turned out to be a great choice. Having never heard of Whitbarrow Village we did not know what to expect and was very pleased to find this apartment was part of a larger holiday village complex. The apartment was very well kitted out and had all mod cons you would want, some cleaning products and tea/coffee bits,plus a nice outdoor seating area and close access to the pool and games areas. The main reception building was very clean and the pool facilities were fantastic as well as the kids games area & cinema room (9yr old with us). Only a 15 min drive to Keswick or Penrith made it a great location just off the A66 but so peaceful & quiet. Friendly on-site staff and well maintained garden areas. Overall a great little find and will definetly stay at Whitbarrow Village again.

A lovely stay in peaceful Grasmere. Richard and his wife were kind and friendly and we felt right at home. Our dog was comfortable too and love the local walks. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning! Perfect get away and stay for the weekend. The views were absolutely stunning and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful too. So peaceful, you can really get away from everything. Unfortunately we didn’t get chance to explore too much as we didn’t have much time due to us taking part in the MacMillan Mighty Hike but we will 100% be back! A lovely modern apartment - it was clean and tidy with essentials (e.g hand soap, dishcloths, towels etc) as described. Beautiful view outside the living room/bedroom, perfect for sitting outside even if its raining since the table/chairs are sheltered. Fast wifi which was great. Communication with the host was great. The closest cafe is lovely too however if travelling without a car other restaurants are quite a walk or bus ride away (10-15 min drive). Lots of long walks nearby - we walked to ambleside via the hills and it was beautiful. One thing to note is the site is quite hilly but it's to be expected in the lakes. Would recommend 👍

A wonderful spot. We loved our time here and the house is just so homely and cosey but bags of space. The BBQ, sauna and hot tub really made it a place a bunch of friends could make home. There were some lovely walks super close and and one lovely one down the river into Sedbergh. Lovely stuff.

Beautiful property, well worth the visit!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was easy and friendly throughout. The space had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Very enjoyable weekend at High Lowscales. The views are especially impressive, so while you enjoy a beer you look over the coast. The house is spacious and well catered for and the jacuzzi and sauna are nice touches. Mark was very responsive to a few questions and requests and gave us loads of information about the local area.

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was just as described and in the perfect location so we hardly had to use the car at all and were able to walk to Windermere, Bowness and Brockhole with our two girls ( 13 and 8). The use of the nearby pool was an added bonus after a day in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back! 😀

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.
