Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Rio del Mar

The house is super cute and spotless. It was very comfortable and stocked with everything you’d need! Yvonne is so responsive and has done such a good job setting up the house for guests. The backyard area was so nice for relaxing. The only downside to the location is that there is no designated parking and there is a lot of traffic up and down the street pretty consistently all weekend. People seem to park in the neighborhood to walk to the beach, and we were never able to park in front of the house. At one point, we left and had to park several streets over when we returned. (This is obviously no fault of the owner) Overall, we had a fabulous weekend!

Nalin's home was spacious and comfortable for my family (5 adults) and 2 small dogs when we came to stay for my brother's graduation in mid-May. We asked Nalin if we could park a 5'x8' cargo U-Haul trailer and were able to park our truck with the trailer right in front of the house with no problem. Everyone had comfortable beds to sleep on, especially the pull-out couch that turned into a full/queen sized bed. We had a quiet neighborhood, so no unexpected party noises around us. Plenty of kitchen appliances and dinnerware to use for all of us, especially a water boiler for out tea and coffee! Mom loved the backyard area with the beautiful greenery and sitting area. I loved the shower pressure, although my dad mentioned the showerhead position was a little short for his height (I'm pretty petite and my dad is about 6'). Overall it was a great stay!

We had the most amazing stay with our newborn & dog. Walkable to a number of restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach, and a short drive to the cliff walks. We loved being able to put the baby down to sleep in the dark bedroom & eat dinner in the peaceful backyard. Plus, the fenced yard made it easy to let our dog out to go potty (it’s the little things!). We are eager to stay here again!

I loved my stay at Kim’s! I’m a Northern California native and I was thrilled with the rustic, laid-back vibe of Moss Landing. Walking distance to sumptuous coastal landscape. Loved that I could bring my pup. The bathtub was luxuriously appointed with thick white towels and boutique toiletries. Would come again and stay longer! Love, love, love!

I had a most wonderful stay at this peaceful and lovely hideaway. The place was ideal and so convenient—to the beach, to Santa Cruz's sights, and walkable spaces—but as perfect as it was, Ron and Nikki were the perfect hosts. Helpful ahead of check-in, responsive and full of great suggestions once I was in, and when I needed to help out a relative, extremely understanding and accommodating. Can't wait to come back!

This was a perfect vacation home for my family. We were 4 adults, 2 small kids and a dog. The home was just the right size with lovely outdoor patios and beautiful gardens. Everything was clean, well organized and with all the supplies and utensils we needed. We walked to the beach along trail which ran through a Eucalyptus grove, easy access to the beach. A wonderful family getaway. Thank you!

Home was well stocked, including high chair & pack-n-play. Omar was very responsive and accommodating. Beach was within walking distance of home.

We had a great stay here! The house is well stocked and comfortable and the location is great. We lived walking to the beach everyday and my kids loved the yard. The one drawback is that is place only has one bathroom, but it was a s comfortable house for a long weekend.

Everything was great! The unit had everything you could possibly need for a trip (stocked bathroom, stocked kitchen, tons of extra towels and blankets). The neighborhood was also very quiet, which was great because we're light sleepers. I would definitely recommend this spot and would stay again.

Really hard to describe how wonderful the whole back yard is. Sunset here were amazing. All kinds of wildlife. The smell of the California hills in springtime always refreshes. Dogs loved it (and couldn't quite believe it). We swung on the swing, sat in the gazebo, enjoyed basking in the balcony views.

Linda and Bob are wonderful hosts. We love their beautiful studio. The location is an amazing and we felt very safe and secure. Their property is a beautiful vineyard and the pool is right outside the studio. Lots of walkable paths, and our dogs Loved it. We will be back!

Place is exactly as described. Glad we asked about the heated pool and got it heated during our stay. June was still chilly at night and would have made the pool too cold to swim in for mots of the day without heating. Place was clean and exactly as described.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the apartment was large and lovely with hardwood floors and thoughtful decor. It was nice to have a covered parking spot so close to the apartment, and I loved the little lounge seat in the bedroom. The closets were very roomy with big mirrors and there were lots of comfy blankets and towels and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper for guests. The bathroom had two sinks and lots of drawers and cabinets. The area was quiet and safe and the neighbors were friendly. I especially loved the water features on the grounds, and the patio had a perfect view of the fountains and beautiful redwood trees. The hosts were great and answered the few questions I had. It was very peaceful and I would definitely stay here again!

A group of us stayed for a wedding in town, and had a great time at Elia’s lounging by the pool and making breakfast together in the mornings. The hosts were super responsive and even Amazoned us a reusable keurig cup during our stay for us to enjoy our own coffee beans

We live down in Santa Cruz and wanted to treat ourselves to a poolside weekend in the mountains (and this place did not disappoint!!). Would certainly stay again and appreciate how communicative the hosts were. As we get into summer we should have known better and brought our citronella candles because the mosquitos were out with a vengeance and forced us inside- so we recommend prepping for bugs if you want to stay poolside for sunset.

A lovely little cabin in the rustic Lompico hills just outside of Felton. The open floor plan makes the cabin feel very roomy, and the bright interior, together with lots of natural light, makes the place feel very cheery and welcoming. The property sits on a half-acre of gently sloping land ringed by redwoods, it's gorgeous and peaceful. Our dog loved roaming, sniffing around and playing fetch with the tennis balls left by the host. Getting there is quite easy, just follow the host's directions...the narrow mountain road might seem a little daunting at first, but we got the hang of it quickly. About 5 minutes down the road is the Zayante general store for necessities and Felton proper is about 10 minutes away. Loch Lomond is also about 10 minutes away. Lompico is a beautiful area with a cool history (look it up!) and the perfect place to unwind. Thanks for having us!

Matthew’s place was so peaceful and cute. I loved the whole treehouse like vibe the places gives. It was supper cozy and quiet.

Very thankful for this quaint experience! The kids loved the toys and the very kind neighbor helped make sure we had chargers for all the electric toys.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful wooden retreat! The property is even more charming in person and very thoughtfully designed with a cozy, rustic feel, yet fully equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with love. From the well-stocked kitchen, all toiletries and comfortable bedding to the fast Wi-Fi and relaxing outdoor space, every detail made our stay feel easy and luxurious. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall sense of relaxation, making it a perfect escape. We even celebrated our daughter’s bday and got some amazing personal photography in the house. Caleb was very friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and stylish getaway.

Our stay was great. Well located and easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. Yet peaceful for us to come back to and spot deer while drinking our coffee every morning. Worked out well for our family get together. Thank you!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on the deck above the creek. Surrounded by beauty and the sounds of the creek created a sweet spot! The lighting was an excellent touch. The accommodations had everything that you need and the bed was extremely comfortable! We would stay again!!!
