We felt very comfortable with Madilu. The location is perfect and easily accessible. The apartment is lovingly and charmingly furnished. We particularly liked the open kitchen on the terrace. There are numerous restaurants nearby, the grocery stores are easily accessible and the sea is on the doorstep. Cidade Velha is a special place as well as the accommodation of Madilu. Initially I was supposed to stay with my father for only 3 days but I, personally ended up staying additional 2 days. Jorge, Sofia's father was super helpful by helping with the check-in, the comute to the city center and Praia, provided very good restaurante recommendation. Sofia during these days despite of the distance was always very communicative. Lovely family, loverly house, lovely moment. I totally recommend this house for someone that is looking for peace and quiet.

The Eco camp was an amazing experience. The camp is basic, but you have everything you need. The food was great and we learned a lot from Aristides about the area and the culture. We can warmly recommend this stay if you look for an authentic place surrounded by beautiful nature. Perfect for hiking or relaxing in the hammock.

Great host, Kira is really nice. The place was clean and tidy, view more beautiful than the photos. No hot water the last day, and shower pressure was a bit chaotic. Still great for the price.
