Chris remained a great host. my family had a peaceful stay in this place. It's clean and tidy with a parking space outside the Banglaw and garden was great for evening coffee. We would definitely choose to live again here if we came in future.

This cottage was comfortable in all rooms. Is ideally placed in walking distance of a beautiful and well served small town. Was peaceful and restive throughout our stay, even at night given it's close proximity to the town centre and nearby main road. Well equipped, good WiFi and easy to use cooker. Lovely place to stay with plenty of interesting places to visit and enjoy locally and surrounding. Good local places to eat and drink by the river. I will stay there again, fabulous place to stay.

The Cottage Garden Hideaway was a perfect place for me to stop for a weekend in the area on my motorbike. Carol was communicative and helpful before arrival and the property was fresh, clean and looked recently built or refurbished. Easily and privately accessed but with the option of connecting with Carol in the main house if needed. Every possible utensil provided (many were brand new), along with Sky TV, wifi, a generous welcome basket and numerous toiletries. The unit is compact yet practical, with a small kitchen area with various heating and cooking options, a small fridge/freezer, a sitting room with armchairs and a folding dining table, a bedroom with double bed, drawers and wardrobe and bright bathroom with large walk-in shower. It's a little out-of-town but within easy walk of bus stops and there's a lovely park nearby and a handy corner shop. Carol and her husband went out of their way to make me feel welcome and looked after. And the nearby roads are wonderful!
