Quiet and safe. It was a good place for my mom while some construction was being done at our home. It met our needs.

Barb and Dave’s guest house is magical, taking you to another time and place where simple pleasures, and calm, peaceful surroundings open up a whole new dimension to experience. Board games, cards, with carved wood accents…when wood was real wood and your word was as good as gold. The builder’s imagination from 1940’s still whispers, as you walk through the door, you hear your name as this invites you to leave everything behind, grab your hiking boots, or just sit on the beautifully curated and reforested landscape to suit its new design. The night crickets lull you to sleep. Enticing me to open the windows, turn off the radio and hear what nature has to say as I drift off to sleep on a perfect bed. I invite you to try this place, no matter what you are seeking… here… at Barb and Dave’s you are sure to find something… maybe even a bit of yourself you had forgotten.

We have been to both Airbnb locations and the view is spectacular and beautiful. If you don’t mind animals this is a great place. They were fast at responding back and I forgot My charger block and they let me borrow one!

Nice location, close to Redding and I-5 yet very quiet and peaceful. Also close to Birman State Park.

It was a wonderful stay with my family and neice, the place felt very cozy and was much bigger than what we had expected.

I had a 3-month stay. I felt like I was at home. Comfortable living area- everything I needed. Good temperature and all spotless. It is a quiet, safe, and lovely neighborhood. Well lit private parking area. Nice private outdoor sitting space.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this charming little place! It was perfect for us, with the convenience of on-site parking and its close proximity to the lake—great for a quick getaway. The bathroom was adorable and had a cozy feel. Even though we only stayed one night, it was a lovely, comfortable spot, and our fox terrier felt right at home too. Would definitely recommend for a short and sweet stay!

Juilanne place was amazing. And my wife Rain Sounds for weekend and we really enjoyed your stay. Place is super clean and just ask describe photos and description. Juilanne was a great host. And she had the cutest the cutest dog.

Cute spot in a quiet neighborhood. We were in town looking at housing and wanted to stay out in the Centerville area since that’s where we’d like to live. It was a perfect little spot for a couple nights with our two young boys. They got along great with Rachel’s boys and had fun out front with them. Priced well for the beautiful location.

Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet in the evenings. (Kids playing in the pool next door during the day... but what do you expect on a holiday when it's in the upper 80's!) The only issue we had was the door from the bedroom to the bathroom is a very noise sliding door and it's impossible for one person to use the door at night without waking the other person in the room. Beyond that, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

Dallas was such an amazing host! Responded quickly with any questions I had. Everything was stocked as needed to cook and comfy linens and towels. Tranquil place to stay.

What a wonderful place to stay. Easy check in, comfortable space, above and beyond! I loved sitting in the backyard in the shade what an incredible setting.

Kind and helpful host! Location can be a little confusing to get to if you get there when it's dark but once you do it once it's no problem. The Airbnb was great for our needs. Small and humble but a comfortable spot to be able to call home for our stay. Only complaints are that the iron in the water can take some getting used to and working around but nothing major. The kitchen lacks a few basics like a kitchen knife and baking sheet, but again nothing that was a major hamper to our stay. Would stay here again for an affordable option while you explore the area.

Wow, my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at the Airbnb. We couldn’t have picked a better place and will definitely pick this place again for a future vacation. We both felt truly at home at the location, and oftentimes would refer to the location as home already. Everything was fantastic and AMAZING about this location, the bed, the kitchen and living room space, the shower and bathroom, and so much more. The host was a class-act and was very communicative and very kind and friendly and always responsive to meet our needs. My girlfriend and I loved everything about this Airbnb and would pick it again for a future vacation!
