This is a fantastic place! The house is just magical. Beautiful open design. The location is right on the beach with walkable restaurants and shops. Once you get here, you don’t have to drive the entire time you’re in Puerto Viejo.

Very good place. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen. The best thing was definitely the communication with one of the hosts, Ashley. Keep in mind that the kitchen is outside, next to the pool, so if it rains too much or is too hot, it's a little difficult to share there.

Lovely place for 2 couples ! Spacious kitchen and living room area. Carlos was such a responsive host we felt supported constantly with any ask we had. The place is also walkable to the centre of town. The only thing to take into consideration is that parking is very tight getting in and out. The pool was sensational!

Sharon was excellent host, helpful, always attentive to our concerns, giving us precise directions, the accommodation met our expectations, just as they showed in the photos, very cozy, well furnished and with the necessary kitchen utensils. As the only suggestion, it would be nice a rail next to the pool stands for ease of access for adults or children in case of guests.

I can tell you that this stay is like being in paradise !! Too much diversity of flora and fauna I highly recommend it The beautiful house! Our group absolutely loved this place and it was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at! There was more to the property than listed in the description and pictures. The main house has 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths. The shared half bath on the covered patio was super convenient. The pool house also has a full bath that we weren't aware of but was a nice surprise, and there are 3 additional outdoor showers. A 1-2 minute walk to Punta Uva beach and ~10 minute walk to some bars/restaurants as well. There is also a nice convenience store right across the street. The house itself is amazing with daily sightings of howler monkeys, sloths, and all sorts of birds. We also saw an anteater and Jesus Christ lizard right on the property! There's no need to leave unless you want to!

It’s a great secluded place to stay. The monkeys will absolutely wake you up so you get the Costa Rican jungle feeling yet super close to the beach. The host was very attentive and nice. Overall a great stay.

It is absolutely beautiful! Being in the jungle but at the same time not far from the beach! Also waking up with all the jungle noise and howler monkeys in the trees next to the house was an absolute great experience. Also we saw so many different animals around the house making this jungle stay perfect! The only thing we were definitely missing was a dishwasher and washing machine and dryer - since everything is very moist all the time it would be great if there was the chance to wash and dry towels. But we still would come back any time!

What a stunning location and home! Everything about Villa Toucan and Villa Macaw was thought out. The outdoor bathrooms (beautiful!), the open kitchen and dining are (outstanding), the lovely, helpful staff (priceless)! All in all we had an amazing holiday in your home. We do apologize for the shift and widening of your driveway, following our transport getting stuck!!! You’re not kidding when you say a 4x4 is needed in the rainy season! But we had a healthy and active group of 15 and we’re able to walk the driveway on many occasions! Superb location that allows you to stay IN THE JUNGLE, but so close to so many great beaches and activities!

We had a great weekend in this place, it was my father’s birthday trip, and we choose this perfect place. It was very easy to communicate with them. The place is really near the beach so that was really nice!

Excellent place for groups! quite big and beautiful! we all enjoyed super well, the path to the beach was complicated by the rains but well demarcated! Sorry they do not accept pets as they likewise pass by raccoons and dogs of lots near the terrace of the place, but due to said it did not give any problems.

Our stay at Casa Garza in Puerto Viejo was amazing. The villa is beautiful, with many awesome indoor/outdoor spaces to relax in and enjoy, including the outdoor kitchen and of course the pool. You can walk to the beach, a little shop and a couple other places for food or you can get an uber or tuk tuk into town. The property is magnificent with huge trees lining your entrance. It is private and you can see a lot of wildlife. The separate upstairs and downstairs areas even offer privacy between parties in the villa. Everything was perfect, we can’t wait to return. Pura vida ;)

This is our third stay here in three years and it is something we always look forward to. We can't wait to come back! The surroundings are incredible, and we love the layout of the house, which works so well for us. We come to Costa Rica for the wildlife, and we certainly get that when we stay here! We wake with the howlers and fall asleep to the sounds of the nocturnal creatures. For people wanting a private place to observe nature, this place will not disappoint: from the variety of birds, the howlers and capuchins, to the geckos that hunt at night. Thank you for being such a kind and responsive host!

This was an awesome find for a couples vacation. Home is exactly as pictured and advertised. Everything was in working condition. There was a bit of a learning curve with the appliances but the host provided videos quickly got us past that. Easy walk into the business area but far enough away to feel very secluded and quiet. SuperNegro market is within easy walking distance and has an awesome selection of just about everything you need for a week+ stay, including a decent selection of beer/wine/liquor. A big plus is the covered patio area off the kitchen, so nice to be able to have breakfast and watch monkeys and sloths climbing the ropes and trees! The pool was clean and we really enjoyed cooling off in it after an afternoon walk back to the house. Entrance to Cahuita National Park is a ten minute or less walk, awesome beach to chill on and nice trails for wildlife spotting. Absolutely one of the best AirBnBs we've stayed in
