House holiday rentals in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca

Our family (kids 3, 5, and 13) had an amazing time at Casa Neen! Eric is an excellent host and helpful with everything we needed. He has staff that is also available for things like having a private chef, laundry and cleaning if necessary. The home is comfortable and beautiful. The walk to the beach is very short and safe. We loved this particular beach because it was quiet and natural. We also enjoyed driving 10 minutes away to Playa Cocles to rent surf boards. Anywhere we wanted to go was convenient and quick to get to. Highlights of our trip was the kayak tour with Eric at Iki Tours, chocolate plantation tour with Daniel, surfing at Playa Cocles, breakfast on the beach at Iriria (get the croissants!), dinner on the beach at Beach break bar (homemade tagliatelle was delicious!), and just swimming in the pool every afternoon. Can’t wait to return!

We had such an amazing time at Sarah’s place! Very serene and less than 3 minute walk to the beach. There is so much to do in this area and rides to town are easy to coordinate with Banana Azul hotel just down the street (or you can rent bikes or drive). The Banana Azul hotel also has a great restaurant right on the beach. The bedroom villa has a wall air conditioner and fan above the bed, so it was very cool at night. It was so amazing to wake up to the monkeys and toucans every morning. Sarah also helped to arrange massages and an incredible meal by Chef David. I can’t say enough good things about our stay we’ll definitely be back.

Wow!! What a spectacular and beautiful home and experience. Agatha was the loveliest host with a beautiful home that she designed herself. The love and care she put into every aspect of this home and experience is 5 star. The views are jaw dropping and the time in the the infinity pool was epic. The home was spotless and very comfortable with an exceptional design. I cannot recommend this home enough! I would say it is probably one of the top homes in the area. Excellent place, just like the pictures. We were a group of 6 people and everything met the description, unpaved street but you can access it with any type of vehicle. Communication with the host was excellent

I recommend them, it is a spectacular house, perfectly distributed, spacious, with everything you need! In addition, the service, communication and so on with carolina was excellent.

This was a beautiful Airbnb: Super clean, equipped with pretty much everything you can think of and super close from everything. The host was always super responsive and friendly. The only thing we would recommend is checking with the host if your car can manage the road, as it’s a gravel road and not paved. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home. Dawn, the host and owner, lives downstairs and she was incredibly kind and helpful. Pictures don’t do the home justice - it’s stunning - with an incredible yard. Used the pool and meditation deck daily, both of which were amazing.

It is a cozy house, clean and tidy, it is as shown in the photos, large space, privacy, away from noise, strategic location for rest but close to the entertainment centers in Puerto Viejo and the host is excellent, perfect communication and very attentive to our satisfaction.

Just wow. What a beautifull house in the middle of the jungle nearby one of the best beach of the zone. So comforrtables that every room has his own bathroom. The view of the office for working makes you wanna live and stay there. Thank you so much for this space!

We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it! It was so peaceful and quiet. It was really nice and clean just as described. The restroom and shower were really spacious. Everything was amazing! we even spotted some monkeys and sloths outside. Itisha was so nice and always responsive :)

We felt right at home, loved watching the wildlife and cooking in the kitchen.

Beautiful and comfortable home in a great location. The beach in front of the house is beautiful and easy to access. There are restaurants within walking distance and grocery stores a short drive away. The hosts were very nice and super responsive. It was nice that they met us on check in to explain the house and provide instructions. Would love to stay here again.

Casa Mona a beautiful secluded haven for couples set on the edge of the rainforest with a lovely cooling pool. Casa Mona is a beautifully appointed, clean, compact and modern open plan villa set in an incredible 'edge of the jungle' garden, which is secluded and accessed by a private gated entrance. Perfect for couples wishing to chill yet 15 minutes walk to the beach and the lively and energetic town of Puerto Viejo. The wonderful plunge pool was a welcome and cooling resource at the end of a hot day. We thoroughly enjoyed the sounds of the jungle each night. A perfect getaway place in a fabulous Caribbean coastal town with plenty of excellent restaurants and activities. The hosts were friendly and always available.

Daniel welcomed us with great kindness. He gave us a quick and complete presentation of the place and then let us settle in quietly. The accommodation is beautiful, very well positioned to contemplate the jungle and very intimate because of its height compared to their house. We loved the open kitchen (perfectly equipped) with a very nice covered terrace on which we loved eating facing the jungle. It was a permanent show, monkeys a few meters away, toucans, hummingbirds, and many other birds. The bathroom meets the expectations of those who want to cool off by having room in the large Italian shower. The small bonus is that Daniel is always available via messaging for info about the area. Her gallery is very beautiful and it was an opportunity to leave with some lovely paintings as a souvenir. We will come back without hesitation. Thanks, both of you.

Villa Julio was great. The property managers with Rise were very helpful and friendly. Especially Fabian, who greeted us on arrival. We had a wonderful time spotting wildlife from the deck every day. We saw and heard howler monkeys every day, spotted an iguana in the tree, as well as a sloth. We rented bikes for our time there and were able to get wherever we needed to go.

Really enjoyed our stay! It is a calm oasis and the two bedroom place was great for our family! Would recommend!

Chris's place is very comfortable, and conveniently located to the beach and Cahuita downtown. There's a grocery store not far (maybe 15 min driving), and the kitchen is equipped for cooking meals. The beds are comfortable and the outdoor showers are amazing. The yard welcomes all sorts of wildlife as well - birds, agouti, and even a sloth presented itself! I would stay here again.

We just returned from our stay at Casa Colibri and the entire week was magical! The pictures of the property don't do it justice. The house is spotless, especially considering it's in the middle of the jungle. The front patio and pool were perfect for our family. The outside space is so relaxing and beautiful - the sounds of the birds and howler monkeys were an extra touch. Andrea was very helpful with our requests. This is a very special place and we hope to return again. Highly recommend a stay here!

Very pleasant, excellent location in the middle of the forest and beach nearby. Comfortable and modern house with easy access. We'll most likely be back!
