Family-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Lucca

I had a wonderful stay at Gina's. When I arrived they very kindly picked me up from the station which I was super grateful for. The house was beautiful with traditional interiors. The town is very peaceful and the views from the garden were beautiful! I would reccomend to anyone wanting to get away from a busy city break, perfect for relaxing! Gina was a great host and answered all my questions very quickly and I felt if I needed anything I could happily reach out to her.

il soggiorno a casa di sara è stato davvero molto piacevole. questa bella casa restaurata di recente si affaccia su un giardino fiorito e profumato. la cucina è attrezzata con elettrodomestici super e stoviglie di qualità. i letti sono molto comodi e la biancheria è di pregio. non manca nulla per godersi appieno la vacanza. un'altra cosa che rende speciale questo borgo è il fatto di dover lasciare la macchina e arrivare a casa piedi con una piacevole passeggiata mentre i bagagli viaggiano sul trattore guidato da Bryan. lontani dal rumore della città ho vissuto delle ore immersa nella pace e nel verde dei boschi sullo sfondo. sara e bryan sono host premurosi e accoglienti e sanno anticipare ogni desiderio. raccomando vivamente questo posto se si vogliono vivere momenti ti vero relax.

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for privacy and nature going hand in hand in the beautiful chalet surrounded by peaceful calmness and a relaxing atmosphere. Maria who is a very friendly Host was always helpful and responded very quickly if we had questions and we are thankful for whole service (with the car :) We recommend the chalet a 10/10 and would revisit it anytime again !

Unser Aufenthalt bei Giacomo war sehr schön. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 6 Personen und hatten gut Platz im und um das Haus. Die Küche hatte alles relevante dabei, die Betten sind bequem und der Garten mega gross und schön. Giacomo und seine Eltern sind sehr nette Leute, wir haben sogar einen Kuchen erhalten, welcher sehr sehr lecker war. Giacomo hat uns auch Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und ging auf unsere Bedürfnisse ein. Wir danken Giacomo und seinen Eltern für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni fantastici nella villa di Daniele, immersa nella tranquillità della campagna toscana. Eravamo in 9 amici e la casa è stata perfetta per il nostro soggiorno: spaziosa, pulita e dotata di tutti i comfort. La piscina e la jacuzzi esterne sono state le protagoniste delle nostre giornate di relax, mentre la sauna interna ha aggiunto un tocco speciale alle serate. Gli spazi comuni sono ampi e ben organizzati e il portico esterno è ideale per fare una grigliata. Daniele è stato un host impeccabile: sempre disponibile e attento, ci ha fatto sentire subito benvenuti. Un soggiorno che consigliamo senza esitazioni, perfetto per chi cerca pace, comfort e un bel posto dove condividere momenti con gli amici.

Sabrina and Teresa greeted us at the gate of the villa when we arrived. Showed us around and were very responsive to us with any request during our stay. We had a relaxing and wonderful time. Many laughs, great meals, wine and a wonderful Villa with everything we needed and spectacular views. Thank you Sabrina and Theresa!!

Very nice place with everything you need for a successful vacation. The kitchen and especially outdoor kitchen were well equipped to easily cook nice dinners for a bigger group. The pool was very nice. The house was clean and the bathrooms looked completely renovated. The best part was the hospitality of the owners. Very welcoming people that know the answer to all your questions about the area. Would recommend!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce charmant hébergement. Parfait pour les petites familles. Un lit de bébé avait été prêté par les hôtes. La cour est idéale pour manger dehors et profiter de la verdure. Le spa était super agréable le soir. De là nous avons visité Lucca et Montepulciano, deux villes coup de coeur, ainsi que Florence. La boulangerie du coin, Antica Pasticceria Giovannini Buggiano, offre des pâtisseries sublimes. Plusieurs supermarchés à proximité. Bref, nous recommandons chaudement si vous séjournez en Toscane.

Wir haben den Urlaub mit unseren drei Töchtern (13, 13, 16) sehr genossen. Besonders der Ausblick und der Pool waren fantastisch. Das Haus und die Terrasse sind sehr schön und laden zum Entspannen ein. Toll war es auch, dass wir fußläufig 2 ausgezeichnete Trattorien erreichen konnten, natürlich auf Empfehlung von Marina. Die Straße von Lucca aus ist schmal und kurvig, teilweise etwas aufregend... Wir waren mit einem großen Ford Transit unterwegs.... alles machbar. Man wird oben von der unglaublichen Aussicht belohnt, besonders nachts mit den Lichtern von Lucca, den Sternen und den Glühwürmchen. Ein schöner Ort mit hilfsbereiten Gastgebern.

We loved our stay! The location was perfect — highly walkable with plenty of cafes and restaurants right in the same piazza. Parking was convenient, which made things even easier. We stayed with two young children and found the space very comfortable overall. The only minor challenge was the stairs, especially with a stroller and gear, but it was manageable. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely apartment in the best location in Lucca! Very rustic and charming - I don’t think the photos don’t do it justice! Gabriele was a great host and friendly. It is quite noisy in the evenings from the bedroom - you can turn the air con to drown out the noise or bring some ear plugs.

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

Due giorni di relax e pace. Posto bellissimo. Casa attrezzata di tutto . Appartamento piccola ma allo stesso tempo,spaziosa. Il letto comodissimo. Zona bellissima x fare delle camminate. Ovviamente x arrivare al mare ci vuole la macchina. L’unica pecca, se una ha la macchina grossa è che non si riesce ad arrivare direttamente davanti alla casa perché la strada è stretta . Ma questo è stato comunicato in anticipo. Non abbiamo avuto problema. Grazie mille Maria Victoria x tutto. Torneremo sicuramente. Un saluto anche a Shaggy , il cane di casa. Simpaticissimo.😍

Wir haben unsere 4 Wochen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen ruhigen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der Außen- und Poolbereich ist sehr gepflegt. Sollten im zweiten Appartement Gäste sein, kann man sich dennoch sehr gut zurück ziehen und die Stille genießen. Für Kinder gibt es genügend Spielgeräte die mit genutzt werden können. Wir waren mit unserem 10 Monate alten Baby für vier Tage in Dinos Haus. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe sind wundervoll und das Haus hat alles, was es für uns braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Dino war toll, er hat sich von sich aus gemeldet und nachgefragt, ob wir gut angekommen sind und ob alles ok ist und hat auch auf unsere Nachrichten schnell reagiert. Wir waren mit einem Ford Transit unterwegs, größer bzw breiter sollte euer Auto nicht sein, da die Straßen sehr schmal sind.

Der Aufenthalt bei Antonella war sehr schön, wir waren 10 Tage bei ihr. Die ruhige Lage und auch der an der Ferienwohnung angrenzende Pool haben zum Wohlfühlen eingeladen. Antonella ist sehr freundlich und hat uns Empfehlungen für die Zeit in der Toskana gegeben.

Just loved this place! Came with family (including 10 month and 3 year old) in June for 12 days and we were all very sad to leave. The house is very well set up with high quality kitchen equipment, places, glasses etc. The location is stunning with wonderful views - we spend every afternoon and early evening beside the pool which was easily warm enough to swim in at the beginning of June, and then barbequed and ate on the terrace. The local town has everything you need (we ate at Erasmo three times), and the Essolunga is also very close.

Wir haben uns bei Isabell sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr hell und sauber. Isabell hat sich mit der Einrichtung sehr viel Mühe geben und überall kleine Aufmerksamkeit platziert. Es gibt sehr gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants/Bars (Sugahero, Gli Orti können wir beides sehr empfehlen) und auch die Katzen auf dem Gelände werden vorgestellt. Das Pool Areal ist sehr clean und bietet viel Schatten, der Garten ist wunderschön durchdacht und ein ruhiger Rückzugsort. Wir würden Isabells Unterkunft auch Freunden empfehlen. Vielen Dank

Beautiful place. Clotilde is friendly and helpful. Tranquil large garden and fantastic pool. Great for kids, our one year old loved running around in the grass. Excellent kitchen for cooking at home. Location is very convenient to Lucca and some charming small towns. The Esselunga in Pescia (10 min drive) is one of the best supermarkets I’ve ever seen.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

A magical place in Tuscany – absolutely recommended! Our stay in this beautiful historic house was simply unforgettable. The property combines Tuscan charm with a high level of comfort – every detail seems chosen with love and care. You can truly feel the history of the house, without missing any modern amenities. And yes – the wonderful photos were exactly like reality! Lisa was a fantastic host – warm, helpful, and always available. The house and the pool were spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The location is peaceful and perfect for day trips to Florence, Lucca, and beyond – exactly what we were looking for. We felt completely at home here and will definitely come back. Our stay at Villa Herb and Stone far exceeded my expectations. I brought a group of 10 women, and from the moment we arrived—actually, even before—we were treated with such genuine care and attention. I’ve never had an Airbnb experience quite like this. The villa was immaculate, the views absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed incredible meals on the property prepared by Federica and Jessica—each one more exquisite than the last—and relaxing massages. Every detail was thoughtful, every request met with warmth and generosity. Nothing was too much. Each of us felt deeply cared for, pampered, and nurtured in a way that’s hard to describe. I can’t recommend this magical village and extraordinary villa enough.
