Die 2 Wochen bei Michael im Refugium waren Erholung pur! Michael ist ein unbeschreiblich freundlicher, guter, herzlicher, hilfsbereiter und stets um das Wohl des Gastes bemühter Gastgeber! Er und sein Refugium waren hauptsächlich daran beteiligt, dass wir unvergessliche und entspannende Tage in der Toscana erleben durften.Die Unterkünfte sind modern, mit Geschmack eingerichtet.Die Anlage, der Pool, sowie die Unterkunft sind gepflegt und sauber!Auch in den Betten ist es herrlich zu schlafen! Wir werden gerne wieder Ferien im Refugium Michael verbringen.Herzlichen Dank für alles Michael!❤️

The most beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The views over the Val D’Orcia from the property were incredible. Close to several restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the space was pristine. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at Annalisa's place in Montalcino. The rooms are clean, spacious, and functional. Montalcino is a charming Tuscan hillside town and a great home base for exploring southern Tuscany (we visited San Gimignano, Pienza, and San Quirico d'Orcia over the course of two days). Annalisa's tips for places to eat in and around Montalcino were perfect -- our meal on the first night was at a low-key, family-run place (Porta de Cassero) and it ended up being one of our favorite meals of our entire trip. Be sure to take a tour at the winery where she works (Costanti) -- beautiful vineyards, a chance to explore the cellars, and delicious Brunello di Montalcino to taste and buy. Annalisa and her team repeatedly went above and beyond in terms of service. We had a bit of trouble finding the place (not her fault -- she had provided detailed, turn-by-turn directions, but we mistakenly put our faith in Google), and she ended up driving up to where we parked and then had us follow her back through the narrow streets. So appreciated!

We loved our stay at Casale Sterpeti. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The room had lovely views of the countryside and lots of outdoor seating areas to simply relax. Various cute little Tuscan villages were within 7-15 minutes driving distance and the coast is about 25 minutes away.

I extended my stay in this wonderful apartment because it was such a fantastic base and wonderful apartment. The furnishing and fitting are high quality and this is a very pleasing space to the eye and to a feeling of comfort and relaxation. Anna went out of her way to make my stay comfortable. I was most grateful for her extraordinary hospitality.

Alloggiare sul “nido sull’albero” è stata una esperienza unica nel suo genere: circondati dalla natura con una splendida vista sul monte amiata; la notte sotto le stelle. Lo spazio è tenuto in ordine e molto accogliente. Le indicazioni di Luca sono state precise. Siamo stati accolti da Claudio e dal suo bellissimo cane che ci ha fatti sentire subito a casa in un ambiente familiare, offrendoci anche un aperitivo di ben venuto e dandoci suggerimenti su dove mangiare la sera e consigli sulla val d’Orcia. La mattina ci siamo svegliati con una buonissima colazione sempre in compagnia dei proprietari. Lo consigliamo vivamente per chi vuole vivere un esperienza diversa a contatto con la natura.

The place on the outside definitely looks different (outdated in some parts) from pictures, but they were very welcoming and the area is so peaceful. When we arrived in our room there was a book full of recommendations about things to do and restaurants which was very helpful. The room was very beautiful and spacious. The service was wonderful. We didn’t try the restaurant because we stayed for a short time but hopefully will do that next time :) …

Absolute paradise. Don’t hesitate - book it. We could have spent every moment of every day on the grounds enjoying the pool, but would have to wonder into town for lunches. Karin and Antonio have curated the most peaceful getaway. Their staff are extremely kind and friendly. My favourite moment was enjoying my coffee every morning over looking the Tuscan hills. I hope one day we can return. This was the perfect baby moon for us!

Onze host Stefania is een schat van een vrouw! Ze heeft ons heel warm en lief ontvangen en maakte elke ochtend super lekker ontbijtjes klaar voor ons. Er was ruimte voor eigen ontbijt wensen en er waren gluten vrije opties voor mijn vriendin wat erg prettig was! Ze is lokaal heel bekend en heeft ons tips gegeven over mooie plekjes die we konden bezoeken en lekkere restaurantjes waar we konden eten. Lees alleen wel goed de mail waar de route beschrijving staat om bij de B&B te komen. Wij waren eigenwijs en besloten Google maps te volgen en kwamen uit op een land weggetje vol met kraters en gaten in de weg. Ondanks dat hebben wij super erg genoten van ons verblijf en raden wij dit mooie, rustige plekje zeker van harte aan!

The most amazing stay! You won’t regret it! 5 min drive from Montepulciano and a great location to explore Pienza and hop over to Umbria. Fav park was sitting outside drinking wine from their vineyard. HIGHLY recommend staying here. Everything was clean and instructions were clear. We met Alex and his mom they were wonderful. Take a walk around the property too! We wish we could stay longer! Great water pressure, comfy bed and wine glasses :) The AC was also nice. Grazi Alex!

Was für ein positive Überraschung! Das Areal ist außergewöhnlich, man kann so viel entdecken und hier heißt es Entspannung und Italien pur! Hier steckt über Generationen eigenes Handwerk in der besonderen Gestaltung. Hut ab! Die italienische Familie ist zudem sehr nett. Wir waren nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft, hätten uns aber auch mehr vorstellen können.

Good value! Nice place, good pools, great countryside and fantastic neighbouring villages of Sorano and Pitigliano. And the unforgettable Cascate del Mulino, the sulphuric natural Cascade in Saturnia. We will be back
