It is a very quiet town at least on the date we have gone ,in summer I think it is full since the beach is beautiful ,the people are very hospitable and without knowing Portuguese we understood each other phenomenal , we will return in summer that we surely had a great time

Catarina’s family was proactive, any problems- they can help you. Apartment is close to ocean( 20 sec walking to the beach), next to the building you can find pretty good local restaurants, but at night it’s so quiet, if you have a car you can find parking lot near you place. In the city you can get everything you need in 2 grocery, local shops, or any in bigger city( 4 min away by the car). We have totally recommend this apps if you’re interested in quiet and peaceful close to ocean

A wonderfully uncomplicated stay for our family. The apartment was so lovingly furnished and everything you could need was thought of. The communication with the host was particularly friendly and the tips for excursions in the area were great! The place and the people were so inviting, far away from tourists and hustle and bustle - highly recommended! Thank you!

Host and his wife was very friendly and very helpful throughout the entire stay. We were there not quite a month and really enjoyed the location and amenities nearby, while also being convenient to other attractions and major cities such as Porto and Lisbon. The National Park and surroundings were just beautiful. The accommodation was very comfortable and as described. We felt very much at home there and there were many stores nearby for groceries and shopping. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
