Beautiful place. Basically had everything we needed. Uber to city centre cost €5 each time and took about 10-15 mins which was fine. Bus system was available but ubers were just easier. Everything worked fine from the air con to oven to shower. The bed was actually extremely comfortable especially since we were expecting a couch bed with decent comfortability but got a large double bed instead (thank god) Super easy to get in and out of the building and genuinely felt super safe in the area.

We had the best time on Stari Grad! The accommodations were lovely and Marija’s offerings and recommendations made our stay more enjoyable. She was a very warm and welcoming host. If we ever make it back to Stari Grad, we would love to stay with her again.

This was our second vacation in Makarska and it was very nice again. The accommodation is located right in the middle of the main street, so everything was very easy to reach on foot in both directions. The port was only 10 minutes away. Walking distance away, the beach is less than 5 min. Walking distance. Good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The accommodation had a great view of the sea and was very good and spacious all around. The communication with the hosts was excellent, Martina was very easy to reach and her mother-in-law on site was super friendly and helpful. Would come back here anytime.

Location, location, location! The studio is in such a fantastic position between the harbour and the strip, with fabulous views over the park and beach. It has everything you need for a seaside holiday and Gino is a great host, very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Airbnb, it was incredible. When we arrived to Split airport, the journey here was very quick and straight forward. Jelena was flexible with the check-in timings as we arrived in Split in the morning. The apartment itself was very clean and perfectly matched the description and photos and the rest of the house was beautifully kept. The view from the balcony was incredible, as it looked out over the beach, which was just over the road from the apartment. The area itself was extremely peaceful and well-kept, and despite the walk to Trogir being around 25 minutes , it was extremely scenic and safe. Jelena clearly explained to us where the nearest shops were and also offered us lifts if need be. I cannot recommend this stay enough and we will definitely be returning.

Great accommodation in Makarska, walking distance to the city and the beach. Fresh apartment that suited us perfectly for a week of sun and swimming!

Natali’s apartment has a great view to the bay and Pakleni islands. Very clean bedroom and bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. She also provided us with a portable fridge and a beach umbrella. Parking is available outside the property. Great place to stay just outside Hvar city centre.

We had an excellent vacation in Croatia in Natasa and Jorgos' house... Beautiful villa and beautiful garden with very well maintained pool We appreciated Jorgos' kindness as well as the bread and pastries breakfast he brought us… everything was perfect Thanks to both of you Mickael, Isabelle and Enzo

Tonci's accommodation is a hidden gem. The approach is very steep and due to a bottleneck, it is recommended to use a small car (we rented a VW Polo and a Renault Capture). However, the hardships are definitely worth it! We were greeted around 8:30 pm by Tonci personally. He had provided a small cheese/sausage platter and showed us the apartment. Contrary to the statement that there was no hot water, there was some, you just had to turn the boiler switch. The apartment was clean and looked like the pictures. Up in the mountains, you have a lot of privacy. The nearest neighbors live a good 60m away. Tonci came by about every three days to maintain the pool (refill chlorine tablets and measure water level). While the pool was being refilled, there was time for questions about the surroundings and small conversations. We more than enjoyed our stay and can only recommend this accommodation.

We had such a lovely time here! Toni and his wife Ivana were very warm and welcoming and gave great recommendations on nearby beaches, restaurants, and other things to do. They even had a few snacks for us when we arrived which was greatly appreciated- made settling in so easy! The pool was beautiful and honestly, the view from the front balcony is breath taking. Splitska is a quiet little town, but has several restaurants within a 2 minute walk from the house. Supetar is only 10 minutes away and has big grocery stores for any needs you may have. Postira is another cute town only 10-15 minutes away as well. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

The place is so beautiful that no photo will reveal this wonderful view that amazed us every day. The atmosphere of the house was amazing - we felt like on a deserted island surrounded by chickens, a rooster, who was our morning alarm clock, and the beautiful horses complemented the charm of this place... The house was clean, very well-equipped- and you can feel homely when cooking dinners on the patio. Close to the beach with a descent to the bottom where we were alone. Not only the atmosphere of the house, its location, the amazing view made an impression on us - such great hosts, with a huge heart, helpful and warm-hearted, and when we returned home, we received a gift from them and a beautiful bear for our daughter. With all our hearts, we encourage all those who value peace, quiet, nature, and paradise views. Thank you for everything- Arek, Kasia, Adrian.

Our friend group loved our stay at Fanica's place! It was perfect for our big annual get-together. Check in was easy, and Fanica and her partner were amazing hosts - helpful, responsive and full of local tips. The house itself is spacious, clean and beautiful. The pinnacle is probably the nicely manicures back yard, with a nice pool, hot tub, and bbq and lounge areas. Our small kids also appreciated the play structures,.swings, and trampoline. It was perfect for adults to relax while kids played. Beautiful beaches are only a short drive away. We would definitely stay at Fanica's place again!

This was a beautiful spot! Martina’s property was well taken care of with gardens and flowers. Beautiful view of Omiš. Can’t wait to visit again!

Nice, clean apartment with private balcony with sea view and view of the island of Brač. Ideal for breakfast and ending the day with a glass of wine in the evening. If you like, there is also room for a yoga mat ;). To the beach, it is a few steps down and then back up again later - a small workout included. The beach itself is sweet, clear water, also shady spots and 1-2 gastronomic offers available. By car, you are quickly in Omis and after about 45 minutes also in Split, if you want some city feeling :). The hostess was very friendly and always easily accessible. We are happy to recommend the apartment!

Great location, only a 15 to 20 min car journey to either Split or Trogir. Lovely home right next to the water. Perfect for a quiet getaway, but easy travel to some of the more touristy areas.

We had a wonderful week in Pisak. Great view of the sea and coast. The bay is directly accessible via a staircase and is fantastically quiet. You have the feeling that everything is prepared with love. The apartment offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable.

Perfect stay in Dugi Rat in Mireli's apartment. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is very quiet with the beach, shops and restaurants a few minutes walk away. Mirela is a very kind and helpful host. I would definitely recommend her apartment.

Ana Maria and her mom were fantastic hosts! Ana Maria welcomed us as if we were family and was always available to recommend restaurants and beaches. The house is just as pictured, quiet and well divided and very close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Bol. Very close to the center of the village and easily reachable on foot. Tomislav and Ivana were both extremely responsive from day one when I let them know our plane was delayed to the day we checked out. We received a great welcome when we arrived and discounts to some local restaurants. The location was perfect, two minutes walk to the beach, lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance and the harbour only a mile away. Apartment was lovely and relaxing and the pool and garden are in direct sunlight up until early evening. Would definitely recommend.

Solo traveller review: I had the pleasure of staying a month, off season (Jan) and couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. The location is perfect, you’re in the historical centre but it’s on the outskirts where people still live year round rather than rent out. (Whilst on an independent tour of the city I was recommended to go to this neighbourhood for proper food). I was greeted warmly, made to feel very much at home and the apartment’s got plenty of privacy. The most noise you’ll come across will be the ringing of church bells. The pictures are accurate, it’s a 2nd floor apartment with it’s own entrance, there’s a table and chairs for morning coffees right outside the door but I was also given free use of the lower garden and the bbq. Although this is a solo trip review I would say the apartment would work comfortably for 3 people or a family for a proper holiday rather than just a weekend. This was my favourite stay in my 3 months of travel Ita-Slo-Pol-Cro.
