Apartment holiday rentals in Povlja

We had a wonderful stay in Makarska! The apartment was spotlessly clean and felt like home from the moment we arrived. It was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we needed: a hairdryer, hair straightener, washing machine and dishwasher pods, coffee pods, bin bags, cleaning sprays, and a drying rack. All the appliances (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, etc.) were high-quality and worked perfectly. The bed was firm and comfortable, and the couch was super cozy. Parking was also a breeze, which was a big plus. A couple of minor improvements could be made. The Wi-Fi, at 10mbps, was a bit slow for anything beyond streaming Netflix, and a frying pan would have been a great addition to the kitchen. Also, a heads-up for future guests: the apartment is at the top of a hill, so the last 100m could be challenging for those with mobility issues or knee problems. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this place!

I came to spend a few days with my mother in Tafra's accommodation, it was a great Airbnb with an incredible view. The pool and hot tub are a real plus. The accommodation was very clean with everything you need in it. We can't wait to go back.

What a view! The large balcony really makes this apartment - we spent hours drinking in the space and calm. The apartment itself is modern, very clean, with excellent air conditioning (although not in the 3rd bedroom) and plenty of hot water. There are many homely touches, like tea lights, guide books and a cabinet of beautiful crockery. The kitchen and utility is well kitted out with supplies and cleaning materials and there is very useful beach kit too - towels, sun umbrellas, toys and the fantastic SUP and kayak which were such a treat to use. Our host Ilana was quick to help when a draught slammed the door shut behind us on our first day. Sumartin village is reached via a short, steep hill and has everything you need including a supermarket, a handful of restaurants and bars, and a gelateria. Dinners at Konoba Bernardo were a highlight. We hired a small motor boat from Sumartin Rent which was good value and great fun. All-in-all, a wonderful place to stay that we would recommend.

Sandra was a fantastic Host. The place was pristine, and the location was close to the beach. We had multiple swims and enjoyed staying in a brand new apartment that had all the amenitites. The location is brilliant as it is good for families and couples. It is also a wonderful place to write which I did. The views from the apartment are of the sea - which is so restful. I would definately stay here again - however, from NZ it is a long way! Thanks for the lovey place Sandra Claire

The apartment was really beautiful, just like in the pictures, with its own charm. Everything was clean, and the bed was cozy. A wonderful terrace and a balcony with🌞 Igor and his family were always reachable, helpful, and more than kind. Here, you have everything you need for a great vacation. We spent 12 days as a couple in this wonderful loft. It was absolutely clean and lovingly furnished. Nothing was missing and everything was as described, including a private parking space. Special mention should be made of Renata, who kept everything in perfect condition, and Tonci, who proactively asked again and again if everything was okay, TOP service! To the location, 100 steps and you are at the sea. There is even a freshwater shower. Other beautiful beaches can be reached on foot in 10 to 15 minutes. All in all, it was a wonderful, relaxing vacation, in a wonderful loft, in a dreamy place.

A special place! The apartment is located in a beautiful garden overlooking the long bay, at the end of which is the idyllic place, which is a bit like from another time. Very relaxed. The apartment was originally the studio of a well-known Croatian painter and we were lucky that his daughter Jelena was there at the same time. We had a very nice meeting! Her friend Sanja, who had welcomed us, was also great. Thanks again for everything!

Brela is a really nice place to visit. We really enjoyed our time there and in Vildan‘s apartment. It resembles the pictures and description! The apartment was good equipped for two people. Vildan was very welcoming and nice, he really puts an effort to make the stay as nice as possible. He provides you with tips and descriptions about the area. As described, the apartment is located in the hills of Brela. You can reach everything quickly by car/bike/e-scooter. You can also walk via a shortcut to the beach, the way down is fine but going up again is a little work out for free ;) we would definitely recommend this place! Thank you Vildan!

Jasna is a very hospitable host. Upon our arrival, we were offered an aperitif with fresh juice and cakes. We had the pleasure of chatting with her and tasting her local products. She greeted us in front of her house to show us the way, which was very much appreciated. The accommodation is peaceful, with a particularly pleasant balcony and terrace. I would recommend it in a second!

An absolutely perfect stay! The view is breathtaking, especially from the jacuzzi. Ivana was an exceptional host: very welcoming, always available, helpful and full of good advice. The apartment is very well designed, nothing is missing, everything is designed for comfort. The location is ideal too!

Bojan and his family were super friendly and helpful. The appartement is modest, but has everything you need. It has a nice terrace with beautiful views. We had the luck that the neighbouring apartment was empty, so we could use their terrace, which is bigger and has even better views. There’s a beautiful small beach right in front of the apartment, which you can reach by some stairs or a path. And another beautiful beach at a 10 minute walk. We had a beautiful time, absolute recommended!

It is a lovely quiet apartment with a beautiful view. Sandra is really lovely and helpful and made our stay a very easy and relaxing one. The beach is very near to the appartment and although it is a steep climb back it is worth every step as the sea and landscape is beautiful! We swam and spent time there every day , Thanks very much Sandra for a wonderful holiday - I highly recommend this air b’nb!! X

Really quite beautiful area. Beach is across the street and there is a little tiki bar. Grocery store is walkable distance. Pool was super nice to have!

Very beautiful apartment, very clean, well-equipped. Quiet and peaceful with an unobstructed view of the sea. And above all, a very warm welcome from the host, friendly and gives a lot of very useful recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. i would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment, spacious balcony area perfect for a family outdoor dinner and relaxing in the hot tub. Easy walk into the old town - about 15 minutes. Marina provided clear check in instructions and recommendations on restaurants which we tried out and enjoyed! If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay and unwind after a busy day exploring then you should definitely stay here.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the penthouse that offered great space and amenities and it was a short walk to town. Would definitely stay here with our family again! Thank you!

Excellent stay in zavala! Dinka was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. We loved this little paradise corner of the island, facing the sea with the hot tub on the terrace... In May, nothing open except Dinka's restaurant and her husband ( very good by the way), it suited us perfectly, we loved it, a beautiful authentic place to be able to discover the island.

Amazing hosts. Father met us on the street and showed us in. Views are amazing. This is the top floor and feels like a penthouse. Hot tub was a nice touch!

We had a great time! The apartment is small but comfortable, ideal for couples. Everything was clean and seemed brand new. Host was friendly. The best part is the private beach, we stayed there all day.

We had such a wonderful stay at Zvonimir’s place in Podstrana! The home was beautiful, clean, and had an absolutely stunning view, the kind you don’t forget. Zvonimir and his family were exceptional hosts: kind, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. One of the highlights was receiving some delicious homemade treats that made us feel right at home. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay. The accommodation matched the photos perfectly, it looked just as nice in person, from the interior to the views from the hot tub. Lea was a fantastic host. She welcomed us with fruit and biscuits, which was such a nice touch, and even took the time to see us in person on entry. She was always quick to respond and gave great local recommendations. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend.
