We came by recommendation. When we read and spoke with Lian, we were fascinating by the story, the purpose and the meaning of the Dodoha Mosintuwu. The bamboo house is integrated in the environment. As it is mentioned in Sofia library ‘Today a reader, tomorrow a leader’ I can’t wait to read Lian’s book. Coming here was not only to stay in a comfortable Homestay, eat healthy food and buy local coconut oil but as well to know about the NGO and see how women and children are empowered. Our stay was a journey of social and cultural awareness about the story of the region.

I can only advise you to go to sleep at Yunita and her family's 5/10 min from Tentena center (bus station) and close to the lake and market. The accommodations are brand new from October 2024, the house is quiet in nature, spacious, hot water, coffee tea available, wifi,... and the hosts are very accommodating for all your needs. Yunita makes herself available to pick you up when the bus arrives. For sure, the best value on Tentena!
