Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Portree

This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in the world- it’s at the far end of sky - just a few working farms, converted vacation homes, artists and mostly sheep. The views are absolutely amazing. Rain or shine, the sun room offers amazing views. You can walk right out of the home on one of the most amazing hikes continuing to Neist point. The house was extremely comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Everything was first class. There was even a wonderful gift basket with some delightful treats. Washer dryer, and other appliances worked well and the shower was excellent. We did not try the hot tub, but it looked nice. The grounds were also beautiful. It worked extremely well for my wife and I and my two senior parents. There’s so much to do nearby, but we didn’t want to leave. Spent five nights in May. Glendale nearby has all the necessary amenities. A fun place to spend a week, would definitely come back! Truly, a hidden treasure.

We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

Blossom Folly was a quaint, quiet, wonderfully equipped house - perfect for our needs. Keith and Kati have also provided a heap of helpful maps, guides and hints for visitors to Skye. It has plenty of space, with off-street parking and a lovely, homely atmosphere.

Amazing place even better in real life. Sophie & Calum have created a slice of hevan. Both hosts went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could possibly be, fresh bred and jams for breakfast fire wood supplied. service with a smile, a lovely couple and a magical place to stay. highly recommend.

Just woaw. The house was amazing and the view even more so. We only spend two nights but it already felt like home. The only downside, we didn’t stayed long enough.

My family spent a week of staying in hotels and everyone agreed this was the best place we stayed. Lots of room for us all to spread out! The kitchen is well stocked and we appreciated the washer and dryer. It’s also in a great location. Again, nice to get food from the Co-op and cool from the Airbnb instead of expensive restaurants which were also very close by! Loved this place!

We used Evelyn's place as a base for exploring the Northern part of Skye. The view and sense of space were worth every penny. When it was warm sitting on top of the hill behind the house was a great viewpoint and when it was too cold to sit outside the view from the main room was brilliant. Excellent property at an excellent location. Every corner has a story to tell and shows how intricately the host has been involved in ensuring a great stay for us. The AGA cooker and the view of the lake is the highlight. Note - due to a personal emergency with our baby’s health we were faced with a delay in checking out. Both Olivia and the turndown service people mutually helped us in allowing us to use a certain space till they cleaned the property for the next guests. Kudos to Olivia and team for accommodating this.

Plockton is a fantastic little village surrounded by beauty. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guillaume’s flat. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and very clean. Highly recommend!

It’s a very nice place, extremely well cleaned and in great condition. The kitchen is well equipped and also very clean! Unfortunately there are pictures in the listing that don’t belong to the rented house. Thus some false expectations. The host responded quickly to our notice about easily finding please and selfchecking in, afterwards for questions concerning the house we didn’t receive any reply at all.

Great accommodation , very clean and homely . Location spot on for walking into town and the views spectacular. Instructions were very detailed and easy to use . Had a wonderful stay and would return at any time . Thanks

This apartment is exceptionally clean! The location is very walkable and the town is gorgeous. Rosemary was very helpful and flexible with us. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again.

Eilidh's space was so lovely and cozy, it had a beautiful view overlooking the port! It was quiet while also being extremely central. Just a street away from the main strip with a grocery store, restaurants and boutiques. The space had many amenities for a family, including everything you would need to cook meals at home. What made our stay extremely enjoyable is the fact that Eilidh was incredibly responsive, very kind and made sure we were comfortable by checking in with us. A perfect homebase to explore the Isle of Skye!

We loved Sarah's place. The private reserved parking spot was great. There was flight of stairs to get to the apartment but we knew about them in advance. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Portree, everything is easily walkable. We loved the apartment, beautifully decorated. Recommended. Would definitely stay here again!

Die Unterkunft von Malcolm ist in Tarbert sehr ruhig gelegen und dies trotz Straßennähe. Dies liegt an den sehr gut isolierenden Fenster einerseits, aber auch an dem sehr geringen Verkehrsaufkommen andererseits. Hr. Malcolm hat viele Sachen bereit gestellt, was besonders gern angenommen wird, wenn man Sonntags anreist und bekanntlich auf der Insel nahezu Stillstand in allen Bereichen herrscht. Wir waren schon in vielen AirBnB-Unterkünften, aber so einen schönen Blumenstrauß zum Empfang gab es noch nie. Parken vor der Haustür ist sehr angenehm. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zum Heizen, sollte dies erforderlich sein.

This was such a great location to stay if you’re a fan of hiking, climbing Ben Nevis and in a large group. There was 12 of us and we all felt comfortable and the kitchen became the hub for great conversation and games. The outdoors was surprisingly well kitted out with lots to do and equipment was easily accessible. Well worth the money we paid and had such a wonderful time.

Would stay again. Great location. Fantastic home. Comfortable bedrooms. Plenty of bathrooms and a functional kitchen. The best part was the surroundings.

The accommodation was spacious and well appointed. There was plenty of room to relax as well as cook and dine. The bedrooms were clean with plenty of towels. Good file in dining room that had useful information as well as restaurant recommendations. The only thing to say is you must follow Iain’s instructions to get to the property as the Satnav is not as accurate.

We loved our stay at Camden House. Absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, and gorgeous surroundings. Truly a 5 star experience. Highly recommend and hope to return one day!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Fort William for four nights with six adults and two babies. The house was amazing—immaculately clean, beautifully kept, and had everything we could possibly need. It’s clear so much thought and care went into making our stay comfortable, right down to the lovely touches like toys and even little presents for the babies. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we were blown away by the amount of food that was left for us—such a generous and thoughtful gesture. The views from the house were stunning and made the stay even more special. Our hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions we had. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

The house is in a great situation, Shieldaig village is an easy walk away with its cafe and restaurant/hotel. We were there for a cycling sportive starting in Shieldaig so it was very convenient. We were blessed with the most amazing weather and enjoyed cycling and walking in the area.
