This is a fantastic apartment home. The place looks like in the pictures, with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Very large kitchen with all appliances and a peaceful backyard with morning sunshine. A very peaceful place near the top of a mountain with easy access to beautiful hiking places just a short drive away. The home is in FAIAL which is the best area for hiking and lookouts places. Also the best value in all Madeira. This area is the best for nature lovers and away from the more expensive places in Funchal. I’m definitely returning in the future. By the way, Marco is a great host, very proactive, with a lot of suggestions on places to go.

Thank you so much to Costa and Siestke, their home is beautiful and was our perfect base - we were so happy to have slow mornings there and return home there in the evening after exploring the island. Porto de Cruz is a great little village with the old rum factory and beaches, we really loved our stay here. Costa ans Sietske were so gracious, sharing the history of the building and local recommendations, it was a pleasure to meet both of them. Thank you so much for everything! 10/10 highly recommend, especially if you want a cosy, authentic place to yourself on the island. Perfect!

We had a great stay at Marcia's place. We were very well received by his mom who showed us the accommodation. Communication is really a strong point of Marcia, she was always reachable. Regarding the accommodation, it is a little far from the center of Porto Da Cruz but in a super quiet environment with an incredible view! It's very airy and cozy. Anyway, we'll be back:)
