Beachfront holiday rentals in Portland

We had a girls weekend in Maine, where 10 of us stayed at Krystal's home in Old Orchard Beach. It was the perfect location, close to Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Kennebunkport, and the beach itself in OOB. The home was minutes walking to the town and beach which was perfect! The 3 floors were spacious and every room in the home had its own charm making it the perfect gateway! We even changed some of our plans to stay in more and enjoy the beautiful home! There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for us 10, and have two separate fully stocked kitchens was also a huge bonus! We particularly loved the large dining table space and ate all our meals in there together. While the home made our trip, thee hospitality and responsiveness of Krystal helped make the travels that much easier and seamless. They were very communicative of arrival plans and departures and went above and beyond by stocking the fridge with beverages, sharing helpful recommendations and tips, and a lovely note!

We had an amazing time at the Aslan house with our dogs. It has a beautiful view of the lake and just a short walk to the beach. It is peaceful and quiet, super clean & cozy. The host was very friendly and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!!

We had such a nice stay at this lovely house. The house had everything we needed with a fantastic view. Plenty of things to see and do nearby.

Tammy describes her sweet cottage perfectly. Water views are spectacular with options to fish off the dock, sit in the backyard to warm up or sit on the bluff to cool off. It was perfect for this girl and her dog to re-set in solitude. Most places on the water have sensitive septic as described so you want to consider that if there are more than two guests. I enjoyed my endless walks on Popham beach (no dogs 4/1-10/1)) and was thrilled to be there in the off season. I barely saw anyone! Reid State Park was also spectacular and more opportunity to walk my dog on the trails. Tick season is a bit of an adjustment every year but not a problem if you prepare yourself and your furry friends. A perfect place for a great book, wandering around historic Bath, and easy meal prep. I stayed 2 weeks and appreciated all the thought Tammy put into anticipating what a traveler might need.

Cape Elizebeth is very beautiful even in the early winter! I got to see the sunshine, snow and rain all in a cozy home! I highly recommend This home! It is stocked with everything you would need, even puzzles, of which I am a fan!

The cabin was exactly as described snd expected. It was very spacious and peaceful with great views. It was also close enough driving distance to restaurants, grocery, etc.

Absolutely loved our time at Ian’s house! We’re already dreaming of coming back - from the sandbar to the town being so walkable, we really had the best time.

Such an amazing and clean stay! Heather was so kind and responsive! So happy to find this space. Very close to everything, and a gorgeous view of the bay! We felt so safe in the area, even to go for a run as a woman alone. Thanks so much for accommodating us😊

Our stay at the beach house was great! You couldn't be closer to the water! So much fun kayaking, floating and swimming in the lake! House is much better than the pictures do it justice. For a 2 bedroom house its very big and spacious, beds were extremely comfortable. The no wifi was a little bit of a downer but there were plenty of board games to play. There is some street noise but not bad at all. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for waterfront property. The access to the resort pool was a plus too for the kiddos!

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

This 1 BR stay was perfect from start to finish! Once we realized that we had to pick up keys and parking pass just up the street (no real biggie and quite close), we had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean, inviting, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The bed was quite comfortable as well. We felt right at home in the apartment, and a walk to town took only a few minutes. I highly recommend not having a vehicle in Ogunquit for downtown dining and entertainment, as there really is no parking, so with this rental’s proximity to everything, you just can’t pass it up! Walk to beach too. When we next visit Ogunquit, we will definitely look to stay again!

We had a wonderful week with Brian's condo as a "home base" - we truly felt at home. It was chock full of small and big touches (toiletries/supplies! paper goods! plentiful sheets and towels! beach towels! to name a few) and surprises (generous snacks greeting us on arrival) that made us feel spoiled. The condo was a great size with an open kitchen/common area and large patio. We were familiar with the area but not Ocean Park Meadows, and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely property and amenities (especially the pool, pickleball, shuffleboard and cornhole) and how well maintained they were. The condo was a quick 2 block walk to the beach, made easy (even with alot of stuff and three kids) with the beach wagon available for our use. Brian was a perfect balance of being proactive, informative, and accommodating while letting us "do our thing". We loved how "our" beach was quiet and nestled between the more bustling OOB and OP areas; the neighborhood, too. We'll be back!

My husband and I spent 6 days here for our anniversary. I wanted a location on the water and close to visit all the major coastal towns in Maine. This was perfect! The home, felt like home, and everything was clean and beautiful. Adam was very helpful whenever I had any questions. Sipping coffee every morning on the back porch and watching the sunrise over the lake was so peaceful. Grocery store close by and great hiking/walking areas right out the front door. Can’t wait to come back and bring the family.

Had a lovely stay at Maranet's place. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Providing coffee and bottled water was a nice touch. The bed was comfy and the surrounding area very peaceful. It was also very easy to walk to the Old Port, Eastern Promenade and very close to Washington Ave. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My stay was very nice and relaxing at Katie’s Airbnb! She was very easy to communicate with. I had a little difficulty with checkout and returning the keys but Katie messaged me back quickly to resolve the issue. Her home was very cozy and right next to the beach. I went with three other girlfriends as a little get an away. The pull out coach/ bed was pretty small so maybe keep that in mind. Lovely stay! Thank you!

I highly recommend Monica’s apartment. It is everything you expect from the description, with a few bonuses: from the many windows on 3 sides, it is filled with light, and a beautiful view of the bay. Everything worked perfectly and I cooked several meals for my husband, my son and his partner. The whole complex is impeccably maintened, the neighborhood is absolutely lovely. Monica is a great host, very attentive and prompt to respond, and she obviously has thought about this place in a highy professional yet warm and welcoming manner. I have been in several Airbnb places on Munjoy Hill, and this one is the best. I hope to rent it again next time we visit our son in Portland. Thank you, Monica.

Great place, Host was great and easy to reach. location was beautiful and right on the water, The porch was so comfortable watching the tides chances over the day with cup of tea.

The house and location were perfect for our vacation. House is equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the back patio and short walk to the beach, and ended up staying an extra day.

Was the perfect place for a little mental retreat, was exactly the place I needed to be to clear my head and escape reality for the week I spent there. The host Amie was so helpful with questions about the area and able to give recommendations on local restaurants and parking for visitors. All in all I had an amazing time here and will definitely be booking again.
