🌟 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Host, Gilles 🌟 Staying at Gilles' place in Moorea was truly an experience we’ll never forget. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and at home – and somehow, every day just kept getting better. The hospitality was next level – warm, generous, and thoughtful in every detail. Gilles went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying every moment of our time on the island. Whether it was local tips, island insights, or just his friendly presence, we felt incredibly well looked after. The accommodation was even more beautiful than we imagined. Waking up to the stunning views, enjoying coffee on the veranda, and watching the peaceful surroundings was like living inside a postcard. Everything was spotless, well-equipped, and filled with the kind of character and charm that made it feel like a true home away from home. And of course, we can’t forget Bella – the sweetest little breakfast companion anyone could ask for!

We had a wonderful 7 day stay. Our 3 boys (16, 13, and 10) spent hours on the diving board and in the pool. Sandra’s place had everything we needed for beach trips, including beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, cooler and beach towels. I was so happy to have a washing machine to wash out the sandy towels and suits after our beach trips. It was a 5-10 minute trip for Costco,-target and Walmart and a 30-40 minute trip to Hāpuna Beach (don’t miss the Malsada stand on the highway on your way). We would come back to the house to cook supper, swim more in the pool, and watch the sunset from the beautiful yard. We also got a lot of use out of the basketball net in the driveway, and volleyball net in the side yard. Sandra was extremely helpful with all aspects of our stay, including local recommendations. Would definitely stay again if on the Big Island!

Literally paradise! Cottage (Rainbow Cottage) was super clean and provided what was needed. Grounds are meticulously kept, was able to take walks in the morning and even though other cottages were occupied, rarely ran into anyone else. Did enjoy the greeting of a friendly dog once in awhile. Perfect location to get away and be one with nature. Close enough to Pāhoa town and great location to be able to drive to Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. I visit the area at least once a year, no need to look for any other place to stay. Definitely recommend! Thanks Jacklynn!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Kona! The property is tucked away in a peaceful, lush setting with a panoramic view of the ocean. If we weren’t out exploring, we were hanging out on the deck enjoying the view and the breezes. The home itself was spotless and exactly as described — if not better! We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like beach gear and a kitchen with everything we needed for home-cooked meals. After a day of exploring, coming back to such a comfortable, well-equipped space really felt like having a home away from home. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. Check-in was a breeze, and we felt so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect Hawaiian getaway.

Absolutely loved this stay—hands down one of my favorite Airbnbs ever! The space was incredibly clean, super cute, and had such a peaceful, private, and tranquil atmosphere. It was the perfect little getaway spot. The breakfast was such a thoughtful and delicious touch. I couldn’t recommend it more—highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We stayed 5 nights here without issue. It seems as though the hot water issue in the shower is fixed as we had no problems at all. We loved the privacy of the place- while still being within 30min of Hilo! Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to the big island!

Great stay and we would’ve booked for a longer trip for this Airbnb but our family provided for the rest of our stay. My partner and I enjoyed all the amenities especially since we had our baby with us. Besides the beautiful view and the thought out room design. It really made a difference with everything provided from the kitchen, parking, even the amenities for the beach. Jayden and his team were very responsive. We had kindly asked to check in early which I was hoping for and felt so grateful to have been accommodated because traveling with a baby is literally the Olympics. I truly appreciate him and his team!! I definitely would recommend this airbnb to my friends, family, and to the person who is reading this review!!

My second time here -- the best house, with the kindest hosts. Well-stocked kitchen and living space, and I love this neighborhood so much.

We had a great stay. The place is cozy, has a great view and amenities and supplies. It is in great location, close enough to everything in waikiki but away enough to not deal with the busy and louder areas. Great host who was very informative, accomodating, detailed and gave alot of recommendations.

A fantastic apartment! Very quiet area of Kihei away from the crowds. Beautiful views of the beach and sea, however, would recommend checking the other beaches out in the south.

Our stay was prefect and incredibly peaceful! it felt like staying with a friend or relative. There were so many wonderful touches. The major draw was the beautiful creek and waterfall and falling asleep with the windows open and the sounds of the jungle. It was tucked away and a wonderful glimpse of local living. A few notes for other travelers: there are other rentals on the property; however, we did not see anyone else besides Darrin upon arrival. Also, this is not one of those sterile, squeaky clean airbnbs that you might be useful. Its definitely super clean but has a "real house" sort of feel. Also, no AC as far as we could tell but it was very cool (and I run hot!) Also, the value for island accommodations was awesome and much appreciated! Darrin was extremely kind to ensure we had a crib for our little ones and even left fresh bananas on our doorstep in the morning - our toddler LOVED opening the door to see this surprise. Oh! and the bed was glorious! Mahalo!

Loved staying here! Its a really beautiful space and Miho was very responsive and friendly. The area is beautiful and has so much to do. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Great place in walking distance to the beach and plenty of other things. The views are amazing, I would book again.

Wonderful stay at the Kapalua Villas. Great pick for the price range. All was as described in listing. The location of this condo is spectacular! We LOVED our stay here. Impeccably clean inside, truly beautiful and relaxing garden and ocean views from the patio. Amazing coastal trails literally outside your door, which I recommend exploring all of (you can go 3 or 4 different directions from the trailhead!). Things you need do do while staying here: Snorkel Honolua Bay, go to Kahekili Beach park, hike down to the coastal cliffs from the access trail on site, and of course visit Kapalua Bay Beach (short walk from condo). Honolua Store down the road has affordable meals. Note that as this listing is very reasonably priced, you will need to pick up some of your own supplies like coffee, fruit, chocolate, anything in the fridge, potentially conditioner etc. depending on how much you use. A minor maintenance issue was made known to us before check in, and didn't effect our stay.

This was our second time staying at this incredible Airbnb, and we already can’t wait to come back. Everything about this place is thoughtfully designed and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is a dream with full size appliances and everything you need to cook and enjoy meals. The entire space has such a warm, inviting feel. The couch is super comfortable (perfect for relaxing after a beach day), and the big TV made movie nights so fun. We also loved the extra touches of beach chairs, a cooler, high-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash basically everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Allison, the host, is truly exceptional. She’s incredibly kind, responsive, and communicates everything so clearly. It really makes a difference when you know you’re in such good hands. Can’t say enough good things. This place is a gem!

Absolutely perfect! It’s a double condo with tons of space and a double lanai with beautiful views. Truly our best air bnb stay yet. Princeville is gorgeous and the Hanalei Bay Resort has great amenities, two good restaurants, two pools access to the beach and a beach bar. Spectacular!

Great studio for two with a gorgeous view. Small but had all the amenities we needed for a short stay in Oahu, including a mini fridge and kitchen items. The elevators seemed somewhat precarious but gave us no issues while we were there; both were working during our stay. Hosts were proactive, responsive, and kind. Short walk to Ala Moana Center, Foodland, Ala Moana Magic Island Beach Park for wading/swimming.

When searching for a nice place to stay sight unseen, especially after such a loss to the community, we were pleasantly surprised. We wanted something private yet still in the heart of the activity for our wedding and honeymoon. Maui is breathtaking, and the views from the balcony were incredible. Every day, we could see sea turtles in the water from our private beach, and we were even greeted by a few that spent the night on the beach during our stay. The space was fantastic, and the bed was really comfortable. It was also conveniently close to necessities like the ABC store and a few shopping centers. Heidi was very prompt when we reported a minor issue, and she resolved it quickly while keeping us updated throughout the process. Thank you for hosting us! We will definitely be recommending this spot to all our friends and family, and we hope to visit again sometime!

Highly recommend this condo! The views were amazing and every time we walked in the door it was a treat! Endless blue ocean views. The hosts were always responsive. The only drawback was some construction noise from a nearby highrise but otherwise it was quiet. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for part 2 of our honeymoon trip. It was everything we could’ve asked for and more! Such a beautiful space and wonderful location!

The place was great. I especially appreciated the beach chair, umbrella, yoga mat, roller, high powered blender and sharp knives. It was close to the beach and easy to jump in the car and get out of town. Highly recommend!
