Cottage holiday rentals in Polynesia

This location was an excellent base camp for our trip to Volcanoes National Park! We were able to get into the park early in the day, come back and eat/freshen up, and go back to the park in the evening! The area is very private and quiet—exactly what we were hoping for. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything was perfectly fine, we stayed a couple of nights during our honeymoon and enjoyed the Pineapple Express! Pretty house and surrounding. Albert gave us some recommendations for activities and food, which was very helpful!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Jenni’s place. We really indulged in the property and the hot tub it was such. Gem of a place. The neighborhood may not look like much but the cottage itself is stunning in every way. It’s even fully stocked with spices and all the silverware you could need. We really enjoyed staying here and wouldn’t hesitate doing so in the future.

Excellent location for a home base with lots of history and charm. It's easy to find, well appointed, clean, and the hosts are exceptional.

Very nice “ohana” (guesthouse)- nice architecture- octagonal - I liked it :) Very private. Felt safe and sweet.

We LOVED everything about this location. Iao Valley is so special and the location of the AirBNB itself was perfect for getting all around the island. We visited at the end of March and never ran the AC once. It was hot during the afternoon but the morning/late afternoon/evening cool off, with the winds blowing into the valley were so perfect. AND the birdsong in the morning was so beautiful that I recorded it and sent it to my family (minus the rooster song- but that's just Maui living for ya). If you want a good cocktail check out Ester's Fair Prospect, they have a nice selection of liquor and a fun vibe, located in the city of Wailuku right next door to this place. Also we loved the goodies that were left in the fridge. The pineapple on the island is SOOO good. Sooooooo good. Forget the banana bread hype... just eat the pineapples and bananas fresh! Mahalo!

The tea house cottage is great! Super cute and cozy and a very convenient location to volcanoes national park. Very clean. The kitchen was well equipped which was nice since the dining options in volcano are limited. Shannon is a great host. Very helpful and responds promptly. If you’re worried about the noise of the frogs at night, I can only share from my personal experience, but they weren’t too noisy and we didn’t have trouble sleeping. We brought a white noise machine and ear plugs and we didn’t end up needing the ear plugs.

A neat, spacious studio in the heart of gorgeous surroundings, which was exactly what we were after for our stay. The warm, friendly welcome board was a cute touch. Studio was tidy on our arrival, stocked with all our necessities for our stay - the 2 fans were life-savers and made it bearable in the heat. Thanks Tim for providing a neat little place in gorgeous Rarotonga.

Great location. Right on the water. It was a little hard to find due to foliage covering the address. More specific details would have been nice. There aren’t a lot of restaurants open for dinner but it was quiet and peaceful. The ocean sounded spectacular. Host took awhile to respond hit luckily we weren’t that needy. Bedrooms downstairs were kinda musty. We didn’t have any issues with the hot water. Overall, I would recommend this place. Great spot on the north shore. Not really good for snorkeling or surfing but great for swimming. We saw honu while drinking our morning coffee

We absolutely loved the cottage! Tom and Denise were very kind and gave us a lot of helpful information on activities and restaurants in the area. The cottage had great extras like snorkeling gear, beach towels etc. In the morning, we were woken up by the beautiful sound of birds which we will miss dearly back home! We were super happy a late check-out was possible as our flight was in the evening. Highly recommend booking with Tom and Denise (and their adorable dog), would 100 percent book again!

Our stay at the cottage was great. Very close to the beach and really appreciated the beach equipment provided. We loved relaxing and enjoying the slower speeds and stunning scenery. The quick ride into town wasn't bad for dinners. Greatly appreciated the AC in the bedrooms. Highly recommend this location.

Nice size for our family of 5. Our younger kids slept in the bedroom that had the daybed and the twin bed, which worked out perfectly. Each bedroom did have AC which was really nice. We loved the convenience of the washer and dryer. We also loved the central location and walkability to restaurants, coffee spots, shopping, etc. Emma gave clear instructions and helpful recommendations. She’s an awesome host.

Great spot with easy walking to the downtown area! Jason was very responsive to my messages.

We loved Autumn's jungle cottages and would recommend her place. Great for small groups with separate accommodations. Beautiful outdoor gathering bbq area and every kind of plants. highly recommend

Beautiful spot in the jungle near the volcano. Super private, jungle hottub was definitely the star of the stay. Communication was great.

The Cottage is well situated, close to Hana town. You can walk to Hana Bay if you so desired. Great location.

Hāna has stolen our hearts ~ and Luana Gardens sealed the deal. We cannot wait to return to spend more time away from it all, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the area with this beautiful home as our base. Jody is such a gracious host and was so helpful to us, helping guide us on a search for family information. Such a beautiful property, well appointed home, great local food trucks (da mean bean & Ae’s kitchen were favorites!), and being so close to the beach was wonderful. This is a truly special place.

We loved our stay at the cottage. A simple, historic-feeling, stress-free escape into a world far different from the normal daily grind. The chickens are wonderful (a few got quite familiar with us after a 10-day stay), the nightly frog symphony was very peaceful to us in its natural cadence, and the cottage was clean and easy feeling. The location was wonderful for jumping off into all sorts of big-island sight-seeing and activities. This was a trip I gave to my elderly mother and she could not have been happier. Very beautiful and peaceful cottage. Great location close to the Road to Hana and northern beaches. Easy to park vehicle in the carport and excellent from a logistics perspective during the week stay. Neighborhood was very quiet and good for relaxation. Owners great to work with and keep the place well managed. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! My husband and I spent a week here and had the best experience. The space was clean, peaceful, and just as pictured. Communication with Candice was smooth—she was incredibly thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay. The only small issue was that the kitchen didn’t have many basic condiments, and with few restaurants or convenience stores nearby, we had to stock up ourselves. Still, it was a lovely and relaxing getaway—highly recommended!

This place is simply incredible. Peaceful. Unique. Our stay was unforgettable.

To say this is paradise is an understatement. This place is a jewel within paradise. Mary greeted is upon arrival and walked us through the house, giving us some fresh picked bananas from the property. She was a wonderful host. The space is open and remained cool. Lots of windows with screens to open and plenty of fans. The lanai was awesome with an incredible view! We loved the kitchenette on the lanai. Laying in the hammock while watching the arriving views was a favorite pastime. The unit was week stocked, but if you wanted to go to dinner out or buy groceries to make things in, there are options. Waking up to the sounds of birds was wonderful and after the sun set over the horizon, the sounds of frogs lulled you to sleep. This place isn't reality, it's everyone's fantasy andi don't want to go back to reality. We will be back.
