Treehouse holiday rentals in Polynesia

Luxurious resort-like stay in Haiku with all and more than you could ask for - more than enough space for our group, good beach and town access as well as on site hot tub and pool access, even the overall design added to the joy of our stay. Spotless as well. Host was accessible by app messaging and by phone throughout. We loved this place!

This was an oasis of peace and tranquility during our stay in Samoa, which was our stop on our year-long trip around the world. The treehouse was our around 100th accommodation during this trip and definitely one of the best. Steven and Wendy are such gracious hosts. You can rent a car here anytime (if available) for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a cute little cottage in the countryside full of birdsong, this is your number one choice. There is no wifi here. Digicell had a weak signal (but you can find a place where it works). Vodafone works great everywhere in the area.

Staying here was exactly what I needed. I felt close to nature and loved waking up to the sounds of birds and falling asleep to the sounds of frogs. There were no noticeable insects inside the hut, just a gecko or two who made themselves scarce. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the shower was fun, everything was perfect. Louisa is kind, funny, and generous. She gave me local tips, shared her perspective when I asked, and guided me in the right direction to make my first Hawai’i trip truly special! I would return tomorrow if I could! Since I cannot, I will be back as soon as possible. If you are questioning whether or not to book this spot, do it! We couldn’t ask for a friendlier host or a more beautiful, unique, comfortable and stunningly decorated place to stay in Paia. This is the antidote to a cookie cutter big resort stay, with all the benefits of a truly local vibe and host. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Maui! Thank you Dave!

The treehouse was incredible. From watching sunrise from the front porch to listening to the coqui frogs while looking at the stars, the treehouse was perfect for our trip. Madeleine provided easy to follow instructions for finding their place. While close to the other rentals and main house on the property, the treehouse still provides plenty of privacy and peace. 10/10 experience!

Being from Kona, this was the perfect place to spend time with my friend from Australia that I hadn’t seen in decades! It’s private, clean, well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, has great lighting, and conversation spaces. The home has wonderful retro appointments & beautiful tropical artwork. We especially enjoyed the nice stroll to the park area overlooking the ocean. Mahalo, Cyrus!

Very unique and beautiful treehouse and property. Loved staring at all the lush vegetation. And the mattress was incredibly comfortable!

This magical jungle tree fort sits above an amazing river that runs thru a beautiful canyon that pours into a big swimming hole directly below you . I was traveling with my teenage son, we had plans to sneak over from resort life to view the volcano and hike some waterfalls so we just needed a sweet crash pad ,and this was an absolute treat. rain forest hideout. Its very simple. but dry clean and cozy! so fun to enjoy these surroundings. we loved it . off grid jungle showering w tree frogs will heal your soul! We met the host briefly, we got in a bit late and she was very kind and helpful and patient. thank you for having us 🙏🏽🪶

Great time, original and atypical off the beaten path. Sophie offered us the excursions that had to be done to have very good convivial moments After 30 years on site she was able to become local and tell us what the good places were, a real nice discovery. Thank you again 🙏

This place is absolutely stunning. The jungle, the birds, every little detail in the house felt grounding. It has everything you need and is just a short drive out of town. The host gave some great recommendations and the beauty of nature is just magical.

This was an amazing escape from the hustle and bustle coming here from Oahu. We arrived in the dark and rain but everything was easy to find and open up. Waking up the next day and seeing the beauty of the area was breathtaking. Everything is exactly as described and very well planned. We would definitely come back on another trip. Thank you 🙏

This was such a fun Airbnb! Really thoughtful touches all throughout the place. A quiet space in the rainforest! Wish we could have stayed longer.

If you’re looking for a 5 star resort with amenities this may not be the place for you. However, if you are looking for an eco-friendly place that is peaceful, away from the crowds, and grounding look no further. Tucked away in the mountains with an amazing ocean view, you’ll stay in this peaceful tree house. I recommend an SUV but a small car can make it up the road. Cristina was the most hospitable host and shared her knowledge and also recommendations while we stayed in her home. She was so kind and a great hostess! I would definitely go back and stay there again.

Our stay at Mike’s residence was a great time. He is very knowledgeable about the area and can provide many tips, as well as up-to-the-minute updates on, and if the volcano is erupting. We really appreciated his integrity, which was displayed when he mailed an item which we had forgotten in the place to my home. All of that happened without any difficulties or setbacks. Mike’s service is really what sets him apart from other owners and property managers. Do note that the property does cool down quickly, and it is important to bring extra clothes and to use the extra blankets when the temperature drops. Oh thanks to Mike. It was a very enjoyable stay. We can highly recommend staying with him.

This treehouse was absolutely magical! Staying here felt like being tucked away in the middle of the jungle — it gave major Costa Rica vibes in the best way. I loved how peaceful and immersive the experience was, all while still feeling completely safe and comfortable. One of my favorite parts was having access to a heated shower, which made the stay feel both adventurous and luxurious. It was such a cool place to capture content for social media — every angle of the treehouse was photogenic, and when it rained, it was truly beautiful and calming to listen to from inside the space. If you’re looking for a unique, nature-filled escape on the Big Island, this place is a dream. I couldn’t recommend it more!
