Brilliant spacious accommodation to relax, ideal to reach from SJO. Wonderful pool.

I can’t say enough good things about this condo! The place was spotless, modern, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay week long stay. But the real highlight? The pool! It’s even more beautiful than the pictures—crystal clear, surrounded by lush greenery, and the perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach. The location was ideal—just a short drive to restaurants, shops, and the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. And the host? Absolutely amazing. Super responsive and friendly. You can tell they truly care about making your stay perfect. We’re already planning our return!

The place is very nice. Very considerate to have ponchos and umbrellas, which came in handy. My only issue was the host and co-host both read a message from me asking a question. Neither of them responded, ever. I’m not sure if it was an oversight or intentional.

Outstanding hideaway surrounded by local flora. Simply wonderful stay. Access to the “elevated” beach club was outstanding. Enjoyed seeing beautiful multicolored Macaws and other creatures of the “jungle”. - Highly recommend!

A place that's too nice, super clean, like being at home, plus the host is super accessible with excellent communication!

The place was pretty nice overall, the kitchen really well equipped. Minutes away from one of the nicest beaches around. The apartment had a great view of the ocean, which was a nice bonus.

We liked being in a gated community with a security guard at the entrance. The area was peaceful and we felt very safe. The home was comfortable and modern with lots of glass windows. There was a nice outdoor space and the shared pool was fantastic (and we never saw anyone else at it). Initially we weren't sure we were pulling into the right place, as the gate to the neighborhood sits back through another neighborhood. But overall it was a smooth experience and we would definitely stay again!

Casa Baru is a beautiful home and a perfect location for accessing the beach and many great restaurants. When we walked in the door my kids said, “This looks like a celebrity’s house!”. The outdoor space is beautiful and serene and indoors is spacious and comfortable. Juan was super responsive to any questions we had and he had great local recommendations for restaurants. I highly recommend this beautiful home and Juan as a host!

I have stayed at Cassie’s place multiple times and there is a reason I keep coming back for extended stays. The house is amazing, the location is outstanding and the amenities are incredible. Her kitchen is super well outfitted with anything you could need and they poolside grill is perfect. I really couldn’t recommend this place or this host more highly.

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s place! The house was perfect for our family — spacious, comfortable, and with a breathtaking view that honestly felt like a hidden gem. So many people came by the area just to take pictures, and we ended up having our own little photo session with over 100 shots — it was a blast! The minipool/jacuzzi quickly became our favorite hangout spot to cool off after a day at the beach. The bedrooms were roomy and well-equipped with A/C, which made for great nights of sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed (minus an ice cream scoop!), and the large fridge was super convenient for our groceries. Sergio was an exceptional host — responsive, kind, and on top of everything. The wristbands for the beach and club were a great bonus, and we really enjoyed having access to those amenities. Everything was well-coordinated and hassle-free. My family is already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend Sergio’s place!

Our family stayed for ten nights as a home base to explore the Pacific side of Costa Rica. The pool was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the bottom pool that doubles as hot tub (when my kids weren't in the upper half splashing the cold water into it). The pool is very large with lots of space for splashing, and there is so much wildlife and bird-watching off of the amazing porch and decks. We were mesmerized by the scarlet macaws that flew by and sometimes roosted nearby. Being in the mountains, you are literally in the clouds. It was other-worldly when they rolled in most afternoons. So cool! Indoors: we utilized the kitchen quite frequently, making dinner every night. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking. The living area was very comfortable and great for watching TV together in the evening. Bathrooms and bedrooms were well-appointed with what we needed, and the washer/dryer was great to have, as we are light packers and did get muddy some days. Overall a wonderful stay!

It is a great place close to all the entertainment in Jaco, yet in a private, secure, and quiet (at night) location! Very clean, cozy, and well-constructed home! The pool was clean, but we didn’t utilize it due to being busy with all the local attractions. I will say that there's some construction going on next door, but it doesn’t start until around 8 AM (I think), so if you are someone who wants/needs to sleep in, you may have issues. For us early risers, no problem at all! Great overall stay!

Erick’s place was as advertised. Close to the beach, and a short walk from the main strip. Was quiet at night with good curtains and excellent AC so sleeping was extremely comfortable. Erick was very responsive with any questions I had. The building has very good 24/7 security so I always felt safe. Would stay again.

Great place and great location

I was driving south and needed a place to stay last minute and Josep responded within 1 minute with my question which was great. We were traveling with two cars and there was no issue with parking. I think the listing says 1 car space available but there was room for two which was what we needed. Thank you.

First of all, congratulating Mary on the excellent attention and respectful treatment she gave us at all times, the place is really beautiful and close to restaurants and supermarkets. The access to the beach is 5 minutes walk, just cross a street and you are enjoying the best sunsets. The place is spotless and provided with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Would definitely visit again!!

We had a great time at the apartment, which was exactly as described. The building is brand new and the unit has good wi-fi, cold (and necessary) A/C and fans, new appliances, comfortable beds, and decent soundproofing. The unit directly faces the ocean so most of the Jaco nightlife noise is avoided other than from the beach below. The building appears to be almost exclusively vacation rentals, so has a feel more like a hotel than an Airbnb - not a bad thing, just an observation. It's a quick short block walk to the main Jaco street with restaurants and shopping. The beach view is incredible from the unit and also the rooftop, though you almost don't need to go up there since you're on the 11th floor anyway (elevators were busy but reliable). Overall we were very happy with our stay and appreciated the hosts' responsiveness especially when the building unexpectedly lost water for several hours (not a common occurrence). Pool was also awesome and never to busy even on a holiday.

Tim & Kristina did not miss one detail in their “Welcome Package” to help us navigate Jaco. They couldn’t have done any better. FYI We have family that have owned a condo around the corner for 7 years & took away a few ideas for a better stay from Tim & Kristina.
