This place is even more beautiful than in the pictures! We especially loved the pool which was always the perfect temperature. The decor and architecture was very natural and beautiful, complete with pretty tile work and natural boho decor. There is a nice kitchen with all the utensils you need to prep food and a relaxing living area. The true beauty of this location shines in the outdoor area which features a perfect sized pool, outdoor shower, fire pit and cute seating area. The host Esteban was so welcoming and very communicative. If you are thinking about booking this location, definitely do it! You will not be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Great time for my family of five staying in both of the tiny houses on Diego's property. The howler monkeys visited us again and my kids enjoyed the hot tub. Playa Potrero is walkable to this private secure location and has everything we need for a simple beach vacation in a undiscovered beach in Costa Rica's dry forest. The location is great for Liberia airport and we were able to visit Tamarindo and Monteverde Cloud Forest in addition to enjoying the quiet Playa Potrero.

We wish we could have stayed longer! This is such a wonderful location with stellar views. Perfect for our family. Best hosts we have ever dealt with. Amazing communication and very helpful with the entire process. You could tell how important it was for them that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you! Don't miss staying here if in Playa Hermosa.

Excellent property for our party of five. The property was clean and spacious and the views from the patio and balcony are outstanding. We had a few minor issues trying to work the TVs and the lighting in the master bedroom was slightly dim. Overall everything was great. Will book this property again in the future!

We stayed here with another family—10 of us total with kids ranging from 7 to 13—and absolutely loved it! The house was amazing. Everyone had plenty of space to spread out, but the real magic happened in the outdoor area where we all came together to eat, swim, and hang out. The kids would've spent all day in the pool and at the beach. We even got to watch March Madness, which was a huge bonus! The hosts were super communicative and helpful throughout our stay, and Jenny the housekeeper was wonderful—so sweet and welcoming. Her gallo pinto for breakfast was delicious and worth organizing. The only downside was the road leading off the highway into Hacienda Pinilla—definitely the roughest stretch we encountered during our trip across the country. It’s still accessible by 4x4 and even a car, just something to be aware of. Overall, we had an incredible stay and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend for families or groups traveling together!

A beautiful place with incredible views and surroundings. The sunsets in the evening were spectacular. We were very lucky to have a very loud family of howler monkeys on the property that we saw in the trees a few days of our stay. The house was clean and comfortable and each bedroom had air-conditioning which is definitely needed. We stayed at the house during the Olympics and on day 4 the tv stopped working completely. Mariam was amazing and brought us another tv within hours. The location is isolated from the main town Nosara and the track up the mountain is very bumpy and not paved at all; you definitely need a 4x4. There were thunder-storms every day early evening which were amazing to watch. The concierge service was first class. Miriam organised a chef to celebrate our friends 50th (the food was incredible) and gave us lots of recommendations for excursions. Would highly recommend.

The outdoor space in the house is absolutely wonderful! Spent a lot of time in the pool, hot tub, and lounging in the hammock. We had some difficultly finding the place and Jennifer was very helpful. We used Google Maps with no problem in La Fortuna, but I would use Waze here. The house has a ton of security features which made us feel super safe. It’s a great location to the nearby beaches and the grocery store. The house could use a little TLC (some kitchen cabinets falling apart, doors that don’t latch well, toilet paper holders that were loose, and could use a paint job), but none of these things took away from our wonderful time at this house and we would definitely return. Pura Vida!

This property was spectacular!!!We loved the location and the views were so beautiful. The infinity pool was a highlight. And the house itself was so clean and modern. The water filter inside the refrigerator was so useful!! Well equipped and the beach chairs and boogie boards were a nice touch! Perfect for 3 couples with plenty of room.

Casa Serendipity was pure magic for our family. As a wellness practitioner and mama of two little ones, I’ve stayed in many places—but this was truly a sanctuary. Mariela is the most incredible host—like a 24/7 concierge angel. From airport pick-up, car rental, grocery tips, to curated local gems—she thought of everything. The home is stunning, spacious, and incredibly private, yet perfectly located to easily explore the best beaches, restaurants, and adventures. We woke to birdsong, made meals in the outdoor kitchen, lounged by the pool, and even picked fresh mangoes. It was peaceful, secure, and deeply nourishing. Every detail supported ease and connection. After full days exploring, it felt like coming home to serenity. I would stay here every time—we’re already dreaming of our return. Mariela, thank you for creating this heart-centered haven. Our whole family had the best vacation. You’ve set the bar for hospitality, and we are forever grateful. See you soon. Pura Vida!

El lugar es muy lindo, el hotel está dentro de un condominio por lo que nos sentimos siempre seguros. La casa está bien equipada y es hermosa, la piscina es súper divertida para los niños. Hay mucho espacio para las mascotas. Los anfitriones estuvieron pendientes de contestarnos. Sin dudas volveremos.

Fantastic beach compound. Christelle's house is the very northernmost on Brasilita where its quiet. House is directly across the road (as close as you can get) from the beach. This is a new house with all the conveniences you would expect on a higher end listing. The outdoor is exactly as pictured and makes it easy to eat outdoors and lounge at the pool. Good security with locking gates and an electrical fence on the wall and an alarm system for the house. Just a great spot if you want to get on and off the beach fast and not be surrounded by lots of people yet be very close to some of the best restaurants in Guanacaste.

The view of this house was breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting the town of Tamarindo & seeing the sunset. If you are looking for authentic Costa Rican food make sure to visit the Sodas (what all their small restaurants are called). We enjoyed every single one of them & are very reasonably priced. We visited playa Conchal which was my favorite beach & not far but also did the Leona waterfall hike and zip lining which was so much fun & beautiful. After our activities we were able to come home to our fresh and clean airbnb and dip in the pool then end the night with Netflix or a TV series. We didn’t have the swing which would’ve been a nice photo prop, but that’s alright. We hope to come back again but with our family or friends, we love Costa Rica so much. My husband really bonded with John the security & would enjoy their night talks. We loved how he greeted us with a smile. We will miss him. Gracias amigo y saludos. Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre visite. La maison était super propre, super bien entretenue. Les hôtes répondaient rapidement aux questions, même pour nous donner des suggestions de choses à faire ou visiter. La piscine était superbe, le secteur est très sécuritaire. Que du positif!

It rained for most of our visit - and that was totally fine with us because we loved Coconut Cottage. It was the perfect size and more for our family of six. Even with the rain we had many activities inside the house that we took full advantage of - the movie theater, pool table, foosball, video games- endless entertainment! It was convenient to walk into town as well as rent a golf cart to drive around town and charge overnight under the carport. We loved having daily visits from the plush surroundings - from monkeys to frogs to iguanas! We hope to be back soon!

El lugar está muy bien ubicado, a 12 minutos de playa avellanas y unos 30 de Tamarindo. Los hosts son increíbles y Gabriel, particularmente, es súper abierto a buscar que el cliente esté cómodo…por ejemplo, luego del check out nosotros fuimos a la playa. Como nos llenamos de arena, le consultamos a él si nos permitía usar unas duchas que habían en la zona del parqueo del Airbnb. Gabriel muy amablemente nos permitió usarla, e inclusive nos dejó usar los baños del lugar antes de irnos hacia San José de nuevo.

Great lodging here. The treehouse is charming and full of character. The surroundings are filled with nature and beautiful animals (including the separate and well-attended doggie rescue). This was a very pleasant retreat and I would return there if I was back in that side of Guanacaste. Also, the beaches are close from a driving perspective.
