The second bedroom has 2 queen beds and 3rd bed has a double bed. The living room is very spacious with a TV. Terrace overlooks the garden and pool. AC throughout the villa.

Josef was super helpful with my stay, was very responsive and offered all kinds of services. Likely one of the moat helpful Airbnb hosts I have had to date. He helped me book a ride to and from the airport, and even changed the return trip date when I extended my stay for another day. The home was beautiful, private and safe and secure. Thank you Josef, much appreciated. 10 out of 10.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment in Playa Langosta. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach, peaceful, and with stunning views. The apartment was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt fresh, new, and impeccably clean! Marissia was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or a better host. Highly recommend, and we’d definitely stay here again!

1 Bedroom Steps to the Beach

Al’s place was nice, in a quiet location as expected with the beach just a minutes walk away. The kitchen was useful. The grounds were great for iguana spotting and one night we saw howler monkeys in the trees! The pool was a little green around the grouting which made me hesitate to go underwater but nonetheless very refreshing. The pool is shared as described, but directly outside the other apartment which at times makes you feel like you’re encroaching on someone else’s area. We were lucky as the other guests were very peaceful too. The place maybe needs a bit of attention in terms of window security, nets, and overall upkeep but the air-con was spot on and bathroom had left over niceties. However, I did always feel safe and not as many mosquitos as I anticipated which was a welcome surprise. Amazing walk along the beach or road with cafes/restaurants to explore. Despite the improvements suggested, the stay was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring Tamarindo.

We absolutely loved our stay! This location is perfect if you want to be close to Tamarindo but not in the busy downtown area. It is also situated close to several restaurants (we enjoyed all! Plus smoothies Nextdoor) and a small grocery store. We were able to uber, scooter and walk to Tamarindo. Overall this property is beautiful!!

What an absolutely amazing experience at Villa Ethir in Tamarindo! I booked the villa for Katrina, Tobyn, and their kids, and from the start, the communication with Bert (the owner) was outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth—from helping me book a rental car to providing fantastic local recommendations for restaurants and activities. When he realized there might be some nearby construction noise, he immediately arranged guest passes for a nearby resort as a thoughtful gesture. His attention to detail and genuine care made planning this trip so much easier. From Katrina and the family’s perspective, the stay itself was just as wonderful. The location is unbeatable—just steps from a picturesque beach—and the villa is exactly as pictured, if not better. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything they needed, and Josué, the on-site contact, was always available, kind, and incredibly helpful. Both Bert and Josué made the whole experience seamless.

We loved our stay! Beautiful place in an excellent location. We appreciated being within walking distance to town but far enough away to be able to escape the hustle and noise of Tamarindo. Our end of the beach was nicer as well. Would highly recommend!
