Monthly Rentals in Pizzomunno

Our stay was very nice. The location is beautiful, you have a view of the sea and the seagulls that circle there every evening. We were there at the end of May, when it was still relatively quiet. In the high season, there are many tourists walking around the apartment & taking photos.

Danilo is a great host. The space came as advertised. Airbnb is situated in a very local neighborhood in Vieste. Parking in front of the airbnb isn’t really an option but that shouldn’t deter you from booking!

Firstly, we highly recommend Vieste as a place to stay in Northern Puglia; it has a lovely old town with narrow winding streets (though they are quite steep and there’s lots of steps, be warned), abundant restaurants, cafes and bars, several with spectacular views over the two main bays. Secondly, being as it is in the heart of the old town, Anna’s place is ideal to enjoy all this. Beautifully renovated over three floors, including the large roof terrace with fantastic view of the sea, it’s comfortable, cool on hot days and charming. From here we walked every morning less than 5 minutes to tiny La Ripa beach for a cooling swim, surrounded by the towering cliffs of the old town. All the great restaurants and bars were a short walk away as were two supermarkets and Anna can provide private parking (for an additional cost) about 10 minutes walk away. One thing we highly recommend is regular visits to Anna’s cake shop. She makes traditional Puglian cakes; these are absolutely delicious.

We had a glorious time in Christine’s apartment. It suited us perfectly but the icing on the cake was the roof terrace with the views. Wonderful. It completely suited our needs and we loved that there was plenty of storage space and hangers. Check in was good with Angelica but in retrospect rather than driving to the apartment we would have been better to park at the port and walk to the apartment. It is really only 3 minutes walk and very convenient. Just one thing … a bit more local information would have been helpful. We found the perfect supermarket on our last day! Despar stocked everything you could possibly need and it’s only a 10 minutes walk away. To sum up, Christine was a perfect host and always responded to any questions.
