There were 14 of us and the house turned out to be perfect. Plenty of space for all ages. The kitchen was our hub and everyone just hung out in the very large great room that included the kitchen. Veronica, the housekeeper was definitely an asset. She was easy to be around and always willing to do anything for us or the children. Thank you.

The view is absolutely amazing! The villa has all the amenities you’ll want and is very safe with two gates, alarm system and security cameras. The sounds of the jungle and the wildlife are very present. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you don’t mind driving 20 min to Tamarindo and seeing a few bugs, this is the best Airbnb to rent! The host is very nice and responsive. Would definitely go back!

Our stay here was flawless. They had a really beautiful location with ample rooms. My only suggestion would be that in the master room. There would be more sink counter space as it was a little difficult to get ready and just a full length mirror because all the other rooms had it on the closets and we only had shelves but other than that we had a great time and the hose was super responsive with an issue that was going on in the grill and I really appreciated thatI would go back

After relocating from a disappointing rental, we struck gold with Casa Ruby! While our previous place lacked essentials and a safe pool, this home was perfect for our group (2 couples, 3 kids). The unique layout gave everyone their own bedroom and bathroom - a luxury when traveling with family. The stunning pool was immaculate with plenty of toys. We loved the outdoor space for morning coffee and the convenient BBQ and outdoor fridge for poolside drinks. The recent renovations show in every detail - luxe furnishings and incredibly comfortable beds with hotel-quality linens made sleeping heavenly. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the living room offered games and a TV. Location is ideal - 8-minute walk to the night market and Little Lucha's amazing tacos, 15 minutes to the beach (or $4 Uber). Thank you Fernando and Valerie for sharing your hidden gem. Truly a dream home away from home - we hope to return!

This Airbnb was absolutely stunning. It was immaculately clean and the views were out of this world. The outdoor kitchen, swim up bar is where we spent most of our days. Brokers were great hosts and very helpful. I hope to return one day and would recommend this place to everyone.

Everything was fabulous! We’ve been visiting the Guanacaste region for the past ten years, and this is the best place we have stayed in so far. The house is so spacious and modern, there is AC in every room, there is laundry, a rooftop deck, a totally stocked kitchen, a really nice pool, beach chairs we used everyday, etc! The only minor things we would change are the motion sensor lights that shine into the lower bedroom at night, especially when the wind is blowing, and the solar lights that attached to the sunshade by the pool- those lights bothered the upstairs bedroom sleepers. Otherwise, the place exceeded our expectations, we even recorded and/or saw over 40 different types of birds, which was amazing.

The home is located in Hacienda Pinilla, a very private gated community next to the JW marriott. The grounds are beautiful, with lots of trees and foliage. The house is very elegant, with high end finishes and well designed spaces. It was perfect for our family of six. Our favorite spot was the upstairs patio with lots of comfy places to sit and an ocean view. Beds are all very comfortable. There are three lovely pools in the complex, one adjacent to the property, and a beautiful beach just a short walk away. Tamarindo the town is very busy and quite popular with tourists, so it was great to be in a more peaceful setting. You do need a car or some transport to get to markets and restaurants as Tamarindo is a 20-30 minute drive. The auto Mercado is the Costa Rica equivalent of Whole Foods, again in the town. A highlight of our stay at the home was hanging out with a family of howler monkeys by the pool.

This place is AMAZING! Kyna and Elmer were so unbelievably helpful with absolutely everything! I could not have asked for better hosts and a better place to stay! They helped with all sorts of bookings and were super communicative throughout the whole planning process and trip itself. I cannot wait to go back and take my kids!

Casa Mirage was a trip of a lifetime for our family and a lot of it has to do with the host and the staff. The place was exactly as described and more. THe host helped with everything from transportation to food. It's located in a small surf town with cute little coffee shop and a few good restaurants within walking. THe beach is walkable and super clean up to 4 miles and the water is warm and clean. The staff came around daily to clean up yard debris and clean inside. Kimberly was the chef and wow did she outdo herself. Helped us with grocery shopping and made us the best meals i've ever had! Her and her ladies were so kind and skilled. If we could go every year we would!! Thank you so much

Patricia’s home was precisely what our group was looking for in Costa Rica—spacious enough for 9 people (including two couples), private and safe, full of amenities look cooking supplies, and responsive hosts. Patricia and Susan were more responsive than any host I’ve ever stayed with. They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. If our group finds ourselves in Guanacaste again, we’d love to return to Casa Bella Tortuga once more. You made my partner’s birthday and PhD graduation celebrations all the more special. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay at the villa. The view was absolutely breathtaking and we loved lounging by the pool. Although a car is advisable for this area, the drive to beaches and stores was quick and easy. Would certainly recommend and stay here again!

Our group just returned from having a wonderful stay at this amazing house. It was perfect! So close to the beach where we watched many stunning sunsets and it is within walking distance to restaurants and bars. We loved the fact that Playa Grande was so quaint without the hustle and bustle of a larger town. It had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this house.

Paula was an amazing host who helped us a lot during our wonderful two month stay. The house was full of toys and the neighborhood very friendly.

The views are absolutely breathtaking—sunrises and sunsets from the terrace were unforgettable. The private pool was pristine and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The outdoor space is beautifully designed and made it easy to enjoy the tropical weather—whether lounging, dining, or just soaking in the scenery. La villa à Mihaela est magnifique. L’endroit est zen beau et relaxant. Mihaela est une magnifique hôte, elle repond tres rapidement, s’assure de notre confort. Je retournerais assurer! Et je recommande fortement de découvrir Marbella qui est une belle ville la plage est magnifique et naturelle.

This home was perfect for our group of six! The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. Being able to do laundry was super helpful given we are traveling for two weeks with carry ons only. The host was very responsive and helpful during our whole stay! During our three night stay we easily got to see three beaches in the area! The only downside to this was the drive in to the property. While the home is in a gated community the drive there is through and underdeveloped area of guanacaste with unpaved roads with huge potholes. We had 4 wheel drive so it wasn’t a huge deal. This stay was still definitely worth the price!

Exactly as it appears in photos. Host was responsive prior to and throughout our stay- offering recommendations, making a reservation for us and immediately addressing a maintenance issue. Clean and spacious. As a bonus- we were fortunate to spot 4 howler monkey right across from our front door. Definitely recommend!

We had such a great stay at the lodge traveling with our 4 month old. The main room is very comfortable and the crib worked out well. It also has a fridge in the room. The kitchen is outdoors and well stocked. There is a shared, salt water pool, which is very comfortable. We were also lucky enough to see a family of monkeys passing by one morning. The surroundings in general and stunning and very relaxing. Stephane and Sonia are very welcoming and personable. They had great tips and also served a great (optional) breakfast.

Great location with amazing views! I loved the layout of the house and the privacy of each room.The kitchen is well stocked for in house cooking.The pool was perfect. There were a few issues at the house during our stay but Stephanie was on top of it and she made sure everything got fixed quickly. I would stay at this house again.🥰

This was my second time visiting Julie’s villa and I’ve got to admit, it was even better than the first! The villa has it all and its location is prime! We had the most relaxing massage at the Peace Retreat which is a minute away, took a short drive to the sights and sounds of Tamarindo and even got surprised by a surfing competition at Playa Negra. The villa itself has all the amenities and Julie and Kyle will never have you waiting if you have a question. We will definitely be back for a third visit. Check this place out!

Casa Amigos was honestly the perfect getaway! The place is beautiful (just as pictured) and was well equipped with everything we needed. The only issue we encountered was with the drainage in the bathrooms, which was promptly remedied once we spoke with William and his team. Everyone was very prompt in their responses and they helped us navigate Tamarindo and the surrounding area. Lastly, I'd recommend renting a car as the villa its not a walkable distance to the beach/town.

Sébastien’s home was perfect ! I always pack my own seasonings to cook and extra wash cloth’s , however it was already many available .Myself,fiancé and our 15yr old daughter enjoyed every part of the house. We used the pool daily even during the rain showers 😆We watched movies in the inside bar/living area daily . He even added a few local (Pilsen) beers in the fridge which my fiancé enjoyed . The home was very private and the restaurants near the home were delicious . We went for coffee every morning at the Beach Break Surf Cafe near by and the owners were amazing . The wings at the Las Olas Brewing right on the main road was delicious. El Huerto Playa Grande pizza &dessert was delicious , few beaches were near by. All within walking distance !! However,we did have a rental . Just loved it everything ! Will be returning and 10/10 recommend .Thank You
