The home was exactly as described and provided us a beautiful, clean, and comfortable place to stay for the week. We were pleasantly surprised that the space was even bigger than depicted in the photos and the accommodation had plenty of kitchen items for us to use (including a panini press). Checkin with Lucia's mom was very pleasant, she even gave us some home made dessert which was incredibly kind of her. I highly recommend this home if you want a quick walk to the beach and a location with easy driving access to anywhere on the island!

The home was even better than expected—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It felt cozy and peaceful, like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and responsive, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. It really made a difference and added such a personal touch to the experience. My three friends and I felt relaxed, safe, and truly cared for. Whether we were sharing meals, exploring the area, or just unwinding, the space brought us joy and made our trip so memorable. João's place was a great home base for our Azores adventure. It's a nice central location on the island, and a beautiful house and area. The whole place was spotless and the kitchen was great for making breakfast and coffee. There is a small grocery store within walking distance, but otherwise a car is required for the area so thankfully parking was very easy. Highly recommended!

Staying at Claudia’s place was an absolute dream. The space was spotless and welcoming, but what truly set it apart was the breathtaking garden—truly a Garden of Eden on earth. Everywhere you turned, there were blooming flowers and fruit and vegetable trees, creating a peaceful, magical atmosphere. Claudia’s thoughtful gesture of offering fresh eggs was the cherry on top. We only wish we had more time to soak it all in. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil, nature-filled retreat!
